Appreciate the in-depth reviews here. My one question would be that you’ve covered 5/10/half’s/full but you didn’t say which shoe is best for kiting Armadyl? Thanks in advance. Durial321.
100% get yourself some Bandos Boots lad. Good price, decent defence stats if you mess up and 1 holy prayer point to prolong your trip by at least 38 seconds 😍😍
Great selection there. I may have blinked but i don't think I saw any PUMA. Will you be trying any new brands in future? I just got my first pair of PUMA, having recently also tried New Balance. My running shoe cupboard is getting quite full! 😅
Cheers man! Your eyes did not betray you haha - it was between the NB Rebel V4 and some Puma Velocity Nitro 3s when I got them 2 weeks ago actually! I'm actually quite intrigued by the Puma MagMax... Could be purchase soon!
I'm going to suggest Thames Path Woolwich for parkrun! It's got a curly wurly! It's also weirdly fast for a course with a curly wurly - my PB course! Very easy commute if the Lizzie Line is running.
In store mate! This year I could only really find track shoes but last year there were loads of bostons and pro 2s! I'm hoping some pro 3s make an appearance when the 4 drops!
The Pegasus 39 is rock hard, i made the mistake of running a half marathon in them when i didnt have many shoes on the go. They've still got plenty of life in them and great grips, I keep them for mixed road and trail runs when its really muddy.
When I originally used them I thought they were quite bouncy and lively hahaha. I was only doing 5-8KM and when I got some newer shoes I realised what I was missing out on. Yeah, I will be using them in the winter for my trail loop that quickly becomes a mudbath!
Like the look of the Pegasus plus but can’t understand why it’s the same price as the invincible but has less stack. The rebel would easily be my choice because it comes in wide and is $40 cheaper.
@@CrownMyRun I’ll probably still pick the plus up, I loved the first too iterations of the invincible and I am one of those runners that can be sold by the design of a shoe.
Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 is a half - marathon shoe. It's not a 5k-10k shoe. It's comfortable and smooth transition. Endorphin Pro 3 is more of a 5k-10k shoe. I own both and this is the general consensus in which I agree with
All these shoes can be used for any distance but I just prefer something quite soft for a marathon. The addition of Pwrrun HG foam makes things slightly less soft, even if it makes the ride smoother. I wouldn't use either for 5-10K myself but if I had to pick one, that would be the 4.
@@CrownMyRun To each his own, but for me it's really comfortable and the smoothness allows me to turnover when my legs are tired making it a great choice for longer distances. It doesn't have the bounce as the pro 3 though.
I’m really keen on trying the Rebel v4 but I already have the HOKA Mach 6 so thinking I need a more cushioned, relaxed type of shoe to replace my retired Pegasus in my rotation. Potentially the NB More V5 🤔
Hmmm yeah, they probably are fairly similar. I've been after an ASICS superblast for a while myself ( 1 or 2) but the combination of price and never being in stock has stopped me thus far!
If you could only keep 2 pairs, what would they be? I'm travelling to europe from aus in a few weeks to run some half marathons and keep going back and forth on what to take
Depends how hard you want to race then. If you wanna race them hard id go for NB Rebel V4 and Vaporfly 3 for racing, but maybe Endorphin 3 if the races are more tempo effort!
Hey, I really like to watch your video's. I think we have the same PB's and I really like to watch how you do in races. If you run faster then me I use it as motivation. In oktober I am going to run my first ever marathon. I hope to run sub 3. I went to the store to buy some marathon faster shoes to help me to the sub 3 dream but nothing in the store seems to fit. I have wide feet and I overpronated of I run. Can you advice me for a shoe that I should try for the marathon. I can spend 180 (maybe 200) on the shoe.
Hey mate, glad you're enjoying the channel ☺️ Stability wise I would say Hoka Rocket X2 or the Saucony Endorphin Pro 3 or 4s, which also for me do accommodate my wide feet. Hopefully you can find one of them on discount for under 200! If you don't need a Carbon plate, the Pegasus Plus has a very wide toebox and has been very accommodating to my wide feet and also very quick, even without a plate! Hope that helps.
I sized up half a size and it's pretty much perfect length wise and also a much more width in the toebox - Spot on fit for me in Size 10 whereas the 9.5 V2 felt more like a size 8.5!
Love the Saucony Pro 4.
Metaspeed Sky Paris laces…..lethal. Violent. Brutal.
They are absolutely evil aren't they 😂😂
Go for Finsbury park this w/e

Glad to see you back and no need to apologise. Always need some time away. Great video and look forward to those park run commentaries

Sweet Paris '24 swag. Also, team Asics & Saucony here but I feel I've got to try the 'Flys.
I've become a bit of a Saucony fanboy ive realised from this video 😍😍 definitely give the 'Flys a go!
Nice one Jodie, you a good guy
❤️
Ah, a fellow Adios Pro 2 from TK Maxx adopter. Always worth a peek when in store…
Definitely! Last spring I found so many bargains but not quite as many this year!
Do you get more powerful with each pair of shoes you acquire? Either way one hell of a collection man, a lot of miles left in them as well
🤣🤣Just more stupid!
Vaporfly 2 is the only super cheat shoe, love it. The rest are just fast shoes. Wish I could get more V2s on an annual subscription 😅
Yeah, I need to try and get a new pair from somewhere somehow!

I think I'll start a poll!
This is a good shout and is my current regular park run. As you say, I also seem to get decent times in it which always surprises me
This was really useful. How do you find those TK Maxx deals? Are they normally online or do you just check in a store every now and then?

Rebel V2 is my favourite shoe

It's been Impressing me so far but so has the rebel - gonna be a tough review!

My Vaporfly 2 still have the pop as long as you get the lacing right!

How’s the sizing for nb rebel v4? Is it more true to size than your too small v2?

Get yourself some On loudboom - they are light and fluffy 😂😂😂
I should really get one of each brand, shouldn't I 🤣
Alpha 3s cut my midsoles up badly, you dont own a pair of superblasts!?
😭😭😭 They are coming home with daddy soon 🤣
I absolutely hated Adidas x pro, you need to have stabilisers to have control
You tried the X strung? 🤣🤣 Tried them on in store and I'd have been in A & E within 5 mins of leaving the shop if I bought them 🤣
Hampstead heath
Should have had a cumulative total cost of the shoes to really scare people off running
I might have to consider getting help if I totalled that up 🤣🤣🤣
