    Well, not all you followers are young, I'm a 60 year old female, I started with a 4 kg kettlebell, once I mastered this workout at present I'm working with a 6 kg one, I hope in a few weeks to be able to work with 8 kg. Congrats for your excellent videos. 😊

      I don't really like ballistics except if I see myself as fat. I rarely use exercises like Swing, Snatch, Clean etc. I think that from the age of 40 onwards, lean mass must be preserved and increased (obviously not in a huge way like Ronnie Coleman). I love circuits more for gaining lean mass than for losing weight

    GREAT VIDEO! I'm really glad I came across your video. I've been wanting to get into kettle ball for a while now but really didn't "get it". When I first saw them I thought it was just another gimmick. After watching your video, now I "get it"!
    I didn't realise there were so many different ways to use them. I always thought you just swung them up and down and that was it.
    You've really opened my eyes to the value of using them and it's also a nice change of pace rather than just lifting and machine training.
    Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. And one more thing... I like your style of video and the presentation. It's very laid back and enjoyable to watch without being intimidating. Thanks again and you've definitely got another viewer !

    Man! I am in love with your channel and your videos, I have been following you since July and man, well, I was an alcoholic, I have gone 50 days without alcohol, I lost weight, I have a skinny fat complexion and I have noticed that my shoulders take shape, I already have some buttocks, I resist the series more and I am faithful to your advice: 1. show up, 2. be consistent. I invested in a pair of competition weights and immediately saw the difference, I had a very cheap one that they sell in 15 lb Amazon packages, I replaced it with an 8 kg and 12 kg one, it's like going back to the beginning but with a different attitude !! I would appreciate it if you could give some tips to strengthen my wrists, I can't stand doing push-ups or full burpees because of the pain in that joint!! Greetings from Mexico and thank you very much for your dedication! I send you a hug and love for you and your beautiful family!!

    Thank you! I did this yesterday and going to do again now. Felt amazing. Only thing is, switching hands while kettlebell is flying felt too dangerous, esp. at the end of the workout when hands get tired. I couldn't use one hand and felt like my form was wrong and prone to injury, so I switched to two hands. Are you Dutch? 🎉❤

    So, I've just started using kettlebells and I'm a complete beginner. And when I do any exercise, all that I feel are my thighs being used. I think I have a somewhat good form since my back is not in pain but I can't get my glutes to feel anything. Does anyone have advice on how to get them to work? (I have a background in soccer so my legs are the most powerful muscle in my body)

    • @alexanderheyworth3242
      @alexanderheyworth3242 Рік тому +2

      You can do this quite easily with a kettlebell. Power clean the bell. Move your legs further apart into a sumo stance. Now start doing squats. Sets of 10 will be about right. Not too fast on the tempo and get as low as you can. Do them every minute on the minute for 10 minutes. Your glutes will be on fire the next day. Three times a week for a while will get your glutes up to speed quickly.

      If you're complete beginner, could try doing 2/week, but if you have some training done already, 3/week like you mentioned should be good. Thats kind of ideal spot for most people. I personally do this 4 times a week and then another routine, so its 5/week, but im also old lifter who moved into kettlebells after COVID as it was way more comfortable to do it at home.

    You don’t lose fat by exercising! You lose fat by eliminating carbohydrates from your diet, primarily grains, sugars, all ultra processed food. It’s your hormone INSULIN that controls your ability to burn body fat. By eating up on carbohydrates all,day, you will NEVER lose body fat. Your must clear your system of insulin by eating proteins and fat. In other words: changing to a Ketogenic or carnivore diet! Exercise is great for muscle tone, strength and flexibility in the joints,mBUT IT DOES NOT BURN FAT!
