Indraprastha Creation:
When there was a dispute between the Kauravas and the Pandavas over the division of the kingdom, on the recommendation of uncle Shakuni, Dhritarashtra pacified the Pandavas for some time by giving them a forest named Khandav prastha. Now the Pandavas were faced with the challenge of converting that forest into a city. There was a dense forest on the banks of the Yamuna river named Khandav forest. Earlier there used to be a city in this forest, then that city was destroyed and only its ruins were left. A forest grew around the ruins. There is an interesting story of converting this forest into a city again.
Arjun Subhadra Marriage:
There is a description of the love and marriage of Arjun and Subhadra during the Mahabharata period. Subhadra was the sister of Shri Krishna and the marriage of Arjun and Subhadra was solemnized at the behest of Shri Krishna. Arjun was already married, his wife's names were Draupadi, Ulupi, Chitrangada. But Arjun was fascinated after seeing Subhadra and then with the help of Shri Krishna, both of them got married.
Shishupal Vadh story :
Shishupala was born in the Chedi kingdom with four arms and a third eye. However, once put in Krishna’s lap, the extra arms and eye disappeared. This also proved the prophecy that Krishna would be the killer of Shishupala. Krishna promised his aunt (Queen of the Chedi kingdom) that he would forgive him for his hundred sins. But even God has his limits. Defaming Draupadi was Shishupala’s biggest mistake which could not be forgiven and hence got him killed.
