After losing the last bet in the game of Chaucer, the Pandavas prepared to go into exile. Kunti along with her sons and daughter-in-law Draupadi goes to the Kuru Rajya Sabha to seek permission from Ganga's son Bhishma, Vice Chancellor Kripacharya, Acharya Drona, her elder Shree and Hastinapur King Dhritarashtra to leave for the forest.
Pandavas go to exile
If Kunti had wanted, she would have left for exile with her family without taking permission, but she comes to the Rajya Sabha to tell everyone that the throne of Hastinapur has been humiliated by what happened to the Pandavas. Only Duryodhana and Shakuni are happy in the Rajya Sabha, everyone else is waiting with their eyes down for Kunti and Pandavas. Kunti along with her sons and Draupadi comes to the Rajya Sabha to seek everyone's permission before going into exile. Kunti, Draupadi and Pandavas are wearing simple clothes. Hearing Kunti's voice in the Rajya Sabha, Dhritarashtra questions Kunti. On this, Kunti says that "It is not befitting of a Kshatriya to live in the palace where her wife's clothes were stripped."
Then Vidur comes forward and requests his sister-in-law Kunti to honor him by staying in his hut. He also explains to Yudhishtar and Yudhishtar listens to Kakashri and takes permission to go to the forest after paying obeisance to everyone on behalf of himself, his brothers and Draupadi. Kunti starts crying, Arjun promises mother Kunti that we will definitely return. The five Pandavas and Draupadi take Kunti's blessings and head towards the forest. The cycle of time starts moving, the five Pandavas and Draupadi wander from forest to forest, all of them together build huts for themselves.
