- Fall is the perfect time of year to safely evict uninvited bats from your attic and other buildings on your property. Installing a bat house as an alternative roosting site for bats is a great way to deter them from entering your home, allowing you to appreciate them from a distance. Fall is also a great opportunity to clean and maintain your bat houses while bats have migrated to their wintering locations.

If the bat box could be electrically heated to 45 degrees would the bats hibernate in the boxes through out the winter?
