Welcome wearied travelers. Go on, make yourselves comfortable, it’s going to be a long night and it seems the storm has grown too dangerous to brave. Oh, before I leave you, do stay here in this room. What ever you hear, or what ever you may see... do not go into any other part of this old place of dreadful memories. They may not be as welcoming as I am...
Well, it is a gruesome tale, may you believe an old man like me.. but no more than 20 years ago two travelers came by this place. They went out too far too late and they needed a place to stay. I obliged, as anyone would to a nice couple. That night a heavy storm rolled in, making the road too dangerous to travel, so naturally I offered them a place to sleep. That night I heard a bloodcurdling scream, I hoped with all my heart it was just a nightmare, so I went back to sleep. The next morning, when the storm had gone quiet, I gathered up the courage to check on my guests... Man was away, woman laid badly cut and bruised on the bed. Checked her pulse right away but it was too late.. I, and many guests with me, have heard the screams and moans every single day... But the tea is ready, have a pleasant stay, and remember what I warned you about...
But as I listened, I heard as if from down below in the valley the howling of many wolves. The Count's eyes gleamed, and he said. "Listen to them, the children of the night. What music they make!" Seeing, I suppose, some expression in my face strange to him, he added, "Ah, sir, you dwellers in the city cannot enter into the feelings of the hunter." Then he rose and said. "But you must be tired. Your bedroom is all ready, and tomorrow you shall sleep as late as you will. I have to be away till the afternoon, so sleep well and dream well!" With a courteous bow, he opened for me himself the door to the octagonal room, and I entered my bedroom. I am all in a sea of wonders. I doubt. I fear. I think strange things, which I dare not confess to my own soul. God keep me, if only for the sake of those dear to me! www.fulltextarchive.com/page/Dracula1/
This is such a dark and ominous scene with the scariest wind I have ever heard! It's perfect for drawing spooky pictures or reading creepy stories. Many thanks for sharing your talent.
As the adventurers were lead by the old man who wielded only a torch, he spoke out in a somber voice. "People may have forgotten what happened here, but the walls will never forget the atrocities committed." A scream echoed down the corridor with the party of heroes drawing their weapons and standing at the ready at a second's notice. As one turned to question the old man, he froze. He was gone. (Glad you guys are back!)
"Where the Hell did he go?!" "Who cares?! What do we do now?!" "Perkele... what was that?!!" Some had come from afar, two were even foreigners to the country. All considered fleeing. All were shaken, and one started to murmur prayers. The former soldier said: "We cannot back down now. En avant!"
@@Briselance With each step forward down the corridor, the floor of wood near-rotten creaked loudly. The slightest of unexplained breezes sent chills down the spine of the most experienced of the adventurers. As they reached the door the man loyal to nothing but coin retrieved his picks and unlocked the door after fighting with the lock. Swinging open the entrance they saw a dilapidated living room with dusted furniture and many cobwebs from the years of abandonment, yet it was peculiar they ventured down a long corridor to emerge in a chamber that would've been the first room seen by anyone who strolled into any house. What nonsense of a home was this ancient place they had been led to? Stepping slowly into the room the roguish male glanced around and let down his guard. "I guess that old man isn't one for housekeeping." The rogue remarked.
I like how this feels realistic, no extra creepy music in the background just a silent room with only wind and fire. I love this. Could be the inside of a medieval castle. Don’t know if you can create a video of one. Inside would be a huge roaring fireplace, stone walls, tapestries, knights armors, spears,, mugs of beer, narrow castle windows, etc. You’re the best at creating a realistic medieval atmosphere. Ahhh.. I am so happy to bask in these sounds as I fall asleep. It reminds me of childhood memories. We had a neighbor who was an artist and she had a house to her image. Very basic structure, but she made arts within and on the walls. It was an old house and there was a firepit like in this video. Thr ambience was exactly like this on cold Winter nights. 🩵 This is soothing. Desiree, we all miss you very much and you are always in our thoughts.
Great dark atmosphere, good sound, great.
Fantastic. So well done. More videos in this world need such well done wind. Just beautiful
Thanks for this. I can now press play and haunt the lodgers while I float over and have a night out on the town.
You´ve just earned a new sub! Great stuff on your channel :) !!! Thank you
I can't wait to use this for my game nights. Thank you for your hard work!
Definitely AMNESIA : The Dark Descent VIBES 🌧️🏚️🌧️
I love the sound. Reminds me of the house I grew up in.
I never knew that I needed this channel until I found it
I love it, finally a good heavy wind video. I read to these videos at night, thank you for your hardwork and craftsmanship placed into them.
This video is old news and all, but horror and tale-telling in its various forms and mediums--'cause this is like a video game that should've existed--, then also meditative moments are things profoundly dear to me, and this "little" piece is just an absolute jewel, I must say. I've been replaying this for maybe an yer now and it's always a special moment for my writing, drawing, studying, working or just sheer sleep. My regards to the Guild, may it prosper always!
Amongst the earth and wheathered bone, there is no alter, there is no stone. - Help us... help us, we are alone. They've sprinkled thorns on all the shores, thev've launched the boats but lost the oars.
My soul feels haunted. I can’t quite explain it.
Wuthering Heights is the perfect book to read to this soundtrack! ☕️🌬
Man, Guild of Ambience has a video for everything, I’ve been using a variety of these videos to read the Wheel of Time, I just recently started the first book. There’s a video on here for any situation, and holy cow does it add to my immersion in the story. Incredible stuff.
