Aye! I does depend on how handling you do. If you stick it in a case or display shelf the glue is fine and for light transport and gaming it’s mostly fine. I did make a video on pinning for heavy use :)
Absolutely! What I’ve shown here is good for making ground level variants. You could take this and paint it grey, drybrush it lighter and paint a middle of the road stripe on it. But cork also works to show uneven ground. Your mini doesn’t have to be stood on a rock or higher ground. You can tear up small pieces of cork and have them represent clumps of earth with a grass tuft on top or represent small rocks or bits of rubble. If your feeling really keen, you can chuck it into a blender and use it in a mix with sand to have a variant size grit on the base
Hi :) the cork here is 3mm cork bathroom tile found from a home improvement store. You will get away with any cork sheet in the 2 to 5mm thickness range

Thank you! Amazing and simple guidance
Glad you found it helpful ☺️
great video helped me a lot. thanks
Glad to help :)
I've been pinning all the models I've based with cork. The super glue holds, but the top bits of cork break off easily enough.
