    People want to blame Tony for this loss and yet they continually gloss over the fact that the defense gave up 51 points. The 48 points Tony put up should've been more than enough to win the game, but nope its all Tony's fault.

      numbers on paper dont lie. Not Tony's fault he didnt get a ring... THere's 52 guys on a team and #9 was not the problem..... QB9 in my eyes was ALWAYS great, Ever since that preseason game they let him come in and try to play. He drove the field, scored, They took him out, put him back in the box and we never seen or heard from him again for almost 3 seasons. They KNEW they had something special. And lost. I saw a Cowboys defense not force a single punt! Yeah........ NOT ONE! But, it is still Romo's fault...... Oh wait..... Even though they couldn't stop Peyton (the real Manning QB), they were still in the game. Why? Come on Romo haters...... Yes, that's right. Love Terrence Williams but he cost the Boys possibly 4 points by not going out of bounds to end the first half. So we're tied 48-48 and Romo throws his first bad throw and it's his fault. joe travieso I love Aikman but put Romo on the 90s cowboys and they win 5-6 Super Bowls. Early Romo made mistakes but towards the end of his career he carried terrible teams. 2014 when he FINALLY had a solid team around him he was in the MVP consideration. Look at Rodgers. Probably is one of the best QBs of all time and only has 1 Super Bowl win. It takes a great team to win.

    Always been a romo fan since day 1 and since he dropped that ball as a holder against Seattle . I ain’t no fake fan . Romo was seriously under appreciated and underrated . Romo was the only reason why the cowboys were even relevant. Romo literally carried the team every year till he literally broke his back carrying his team each year .never had defense and never had a good consistent running game till 2014 but was too late , he was already injury prone . Dak will never make plays like romo ..it’s just not in him . He can work on his accuracy but some qbs are just gifted In being a magician and being accurate .

      Ailkman was also very conservative By nature though. Later in his career when that perfect running game was no longer available he really struggled to make plays. That said, naturally Romos td to int percentage is better in large part to rule changes, Aikmans numbers in that regard are on par with the other great qbs at the time, but regardless of the situation he was afraid to open things up in the passing game so his overall td numbers are very average. Perfect team around him early in his career, and to his credit played smart, but he was never going to be a 30 td guy no matter the situation.

    The team plays so much different with Romo in the game and now with Dak. The oline kept playing till the whistle since they know Romo likes to scramble while Dak runs out of the pocket so the oline is getting lazy this season. Romo made Witten a HOF, Dez a top 5 receiver. Dak made Dez a non factor single cover wr and Witten a extra blocker. Crazy.

    • @Vegabomber
      @Vegabomber 6 років тому +2

      Or defenses adjusted to what we were doing just like they did in 2008 the year after we went 13 and 3 with Romo. Speaking of Dez, how many balls has he dropped this year? And if he caught those balls wouldn't he have more yards and TD's. Just saying. Witten is an extra blocker because the left side of that O-line was stinking. How is that Dak's fault.

    • @VenomKpp
      @VenomKpp 6 років тому +8

      Romo made Dez a top 5 WR even WITH drops...now Dak doesn't even look his way because he can't throw downfield. Romo had a shittier O-line and made Witten a HoF TE. Your comments are flawed.

      VenomKpp well said glad there more people like you who actually watch the games. It's what I have been saying since Dak first started. It seems like he only cares about stats. He is the captian of checkdowns it's unbelievable having all those targets on offense and still going four games in a row throwing for a 100 yards only well to be fair averaging 120 yards. It's sad we are focusing too much on the run first offense but they forgot it only worked because Romo was QB and was actually a threat in passing so defenses rarely pressed. Hence why Demarco got damn near 2000 yards rushing with Romo at like 3400 passing. Best example of this is watch romos last drive when it's was clear cowboys were going to win so they bench Dak to let Romo play. Immediately when Romo step foot on first down corners pressed back. Romo threw a deep ball to Williams and you see Williams just let it fly by and not even try. That's because he knows and not use to seeing deep shots which is why when Romo came in he just ran straight because that was his route. It's sad and boring now. I will still watch every game but damn it's irritating seeing such a good offense go to waste.

      Qwoks i don’t think it’s something dak can’t do . He’s shown many times he can thrown down field this year and last . I think it’s more so of the offense we run where it’s more so ball control and it’s not about making the big play it’s more so about controlling ball to make sure defense doesn’t lose game . Without Zeke it exposed that gameplan which made everyone look even worse then they actually are . Dak didn’t play well everyone can see that but WRs dropped many passes. coordinator didn’t help anyone could have changed things up to help dez Be more of factor then letting him sit one side and be doubled or shaded out of game . He let his qb lose confidence i. U can tell dak started holding ball anytime he had to make a contested throw because he lost confidence in himself and WRs . I kno romo was better qb gunslingers are always the better qbs because they throw and take many chances but it doesn’t mean we can’t win with dak . We never won anything big with romo

You take that bad snap out of his career and you take out like 3 games were he threw ints to loes the game and then try and talk shit. He has the most comeback victory when he retired he was the fastest qb to reach 30000 yards. He has amazing accuracy and amazing arm power. And y'all just steady talk shit. Just cause he wore a STAR on his helmet.. look at Aaron Rodgers. I member him fucking up the first half of his season like 2 seasons in a row. But no one talks shit cause he's still a good quarter back. Like Romo. Just take them 3 or 4 fuck ups of his career and y'all haters won't have shit to say except he hasn't won a Superbowl.. Just cause you ain't won a Superbowl don't mean you suck. There's a lot of great quarterbacks and running backs who never won a Superbowl. There is a number that the Romo haters need to be acquainted with from this game. It isn't the 1 interception, but how about the ZERO punts that were forced by the Cowboys defense? How does a defense go an entire game without forcing a single punt? Oh, wait...... That must be Romo's fault also. And then they did it again against the Bears. Literally two games in which the defense didn't force a single punt, but all the fingers are pointed at Romo.

Romo might have had 1 or 2 good years left, but you can't bench a young kid who is on a winning streak like that. Dak didn’t do squat it was Zeke who was taking the team on his shoulders and he was able to do these dink and dunk type of throws you know the very predictable offense then the rest of the league caught onto and then stopped them. He is not the future they need another QB. They cheated Romo out of that Super bowl. Don’t get excited over that Saints win it was a fluke, the refs refuse to call anything crucial in cowboy stadium, and Dak tried to throw the game away with his two fumbles. The cowboys are just very lucky and fortunate they’re luck will run out soon. They play in the worst division and yet they’re only a game in first. They will never win another SB. When Jerry is gone Jerry 2.0 Will rise and the same thing will happen for the next 25 years.

    I enjoyed Tony when he played but Tony's body failed him. Too many hits, too many surgeries. Dak Prescott wasn't a highly sought after QB out of high school, that's why he was a fit for Dan Mullins at MSU. Dallas knew that Dak was a project when they drafted him in the 4th and refused to bring another QB in. So to say Dak politics his way to starting position is absurd. I am not happy about the QB play right now but if you let the guy(Prescott)play his game and not some freaking pocket passer, you'd see different results. Get a smart creative offensive coordinator that will change boring games. Romo is just fine in the booth. Thanks Tony for the years.

    Romo had to keep Dallas in every game he played. He hardly ever had help. When you have to do EVERYTHING all the time, you’re eventually going fail at some point. Nobody talks about how his own olineman tripped him up on the interception in this game that threw his accuracy off. To me, Romo is a hall of famer who will never get that honor cause the team around him sucked so bad. It’s unfortunate.

      @@jesseortiz5938 - Romo threw for 506 yds and 5 TD's in that game. So many will say he makes stupid mistakes, but most often it's not him making mistakes, it;'s other players. WR running the wrong route, the OL not protecting him Once in the broadcast booth, he showed just how much he knew about what defenses were throwing at offenses. When he went up to the line, you can bet he knew what the defense was doing. Not many QBs are that intelligent, or that perceptive. For those who bash him for throwing INT's, you throw it up as many times as he had to and see how many pics you throw? If the defense wasn't so bad, he wouldn't have to put the ball up 35-50 times in a game. If he had an Elliott, or the defense they have now, I'd be shocked if they weren't winning rings, especially this season. He'd have led the team to at least 12 wins. The glaring difference is, Romo wouldn't have needed the team to give up a #1 to get Cooper, he'd have won with the team as it was. His best RB was Murray, who did great when there were defenders holding him up. I've never seen a RB who trips over his own feet in the open field like Murray. He did it all the time. However, fact is, Romo would have won with a platoon backfield like he had before Murray. Without very talented players around him, Prescott isn't going to win much. I would say Staubach was the best QB Dallas ever had, but Romo would be second easily. Aikman himself said it many times: "Romo is much better than I was." Aikman was a great field general and everyone knew he was in charge. He didn't play games with WR's that were selfish. He threw to who he wanted and didn't care who was catching the ball as long as the team won. His comp % wasn't very good by today's standards, but then again, the roles were different back then and the DB's were able to play more, as apposed to being handcuffed like they are today. So, many passes not completed back then due to DB's, would be completions now just because of the rules that favor offense. I guess I could go on and on, but I think I made my point. Staubach, Romo, Aikman, Meredith, Bledsoe (age a factor in his rating), White, who got some bad breaks and probably should have won a ring, but he's in this position because of his weak arm. Then you can't deny Carter was effective, but was more interested in drugs than football. Or, more stupid about smoking pot than other players. OK, that's it. How would you rate the QB's Jesse?
