I thought I should put a full disclaimer here in the comment section that Teen Titans on the GC is the only game on the console that will not work on the Wii. Unfortunately there is some bug where you can't pass the tutorial stage.
The Batman Begins Gamecube game was insanely good for what it was and honestly I consider it the precursor to the Arkham games. Definitely a hidden gem for the Gamecube.

I'm definitely a bigger fan of Batman but I gotta say that Superman Apokolypse is a really fun game. One that I would place right alongside Batman Dark Vengeance. I didn't know the GC had so many DC games, thanks for covering them all.😊

it is truly depressing how far argonaut fell with catwoman. not only did they help with the super fx chip as you mentioned, but they were alsk the first to implement the dual analogue controls for first person shooters on console that we all see as see as standard today!
It really is such a shame. Such a great developer. That’s right about the dual analog FPS controls! I remember Alien Resurrection for PS1 was the first console FPS to do that, but I completely forgot it was developed by Argonaut! Such an essential developer in the gaming industry…and Catwoman robbed them clean. It really stinks to think how a single game could ruin your pedigree and lead to being shut down. Another great video. I remember Batman Begins releasing to critical acclaim. It was the highest rated Batman game of the 6th gen. My friends and I all bought it for our Xboxes though. Great game.

Fun topic to focus on. I am actually pissed that I never played the Batman game based on the 2005 movie. It looks impressive for its time and not your typical movie game flop.
Batman begins is just like Arkam but on gamecube. There's even slow down effects on kills and the voice acting is dope. This is hands down the best DC game on the cube. Got it for 25 CIB the other day. Definitely worth having

Great video, last time I suggested all Star wars games and I think any other suggestions like all Lego games, Nickelodeon games, etc. would be cool too! Edit: I've owned Batman Begins for about a decade... but it's scratched and has never worked for me 😅 I remember buying it for like a dollar at Gamestop back then and it never worked and I just am stuck with it lol! My favorite three out of this whole list. Batman: Rise of Sin-Tzu: It reminds me of the first 4Kids Ninja Turtles GameCube (Both came out in '03!). I love pulling off the various combos, seeing if can keep my streak. Funnily enough, Robin in Rise of Sin-Tzu is voiced by Scott Menville his same voice actor from Teen Titans. Funnily enough, Teen Titans was a brand new series at the time Rise of Sin-Tzu was out and Tara Strong voiced acted Batgirl in this game while she voice acted Raven in Teen Titans. Was Ubisoft even aware of Teen Titans starting to air while they develop Rise of Sin-Tzu? Coincidence? Perhaps! Batman Begins: Literally Arkham series before the Arkham series was made! it's clear Rocksteady took inspiration from Begins. As a matter of fact, when I use the Dark Knight movie skin in Arkham Knight, I instantly thought of Begins on the GameCube. Batman Begins is the Spider-Man 2 of Batman games in terms of what's available for PS2, Xbox and GameCube. Also Criterion of Burnout fame helped with the Batmobile/Tumbler sections complete with Burnout 3/Revenge-styled takedown cameras when taking out thug cars. There was suppose to be a Dark Knight game for PS3 and Xbox 360 and developed by Pandemic Studios (Devs of classic Star Wars Battlefront, Destroy All Humans, Full Spectrum Warrior, Mercenaries and Armed and Dangerous), but that was canceled. Teen Titans: A very fun beat em' up! I love beating up enemies as Robin, Cyborg, Beast Boy, Starfire and Raven! Plus there's a really fun multiplayer mode where you can play as characters like Slade, Terra, Mumbo, Mad Mod, Speedy, Control Freak, Red X and others and it plays kinda like Shrek Super Slam, Rave Master or The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. A cool piece of detail that the game has is that it either plays the theme in English or Japanese during the opening just like the show it's based on! Also Teen Titans was released during an era of a trend with "Low health = depressed character icon" or "Get cool item or do something cool = Happy/Excited face" type of systems. Fun fact: Despite the case saying that the game is published by THQ, it is actually published by Majesco as indicated from the opening FMVs for the companies involved with the game. From what I heard, Majesco left publishing games on the GameCube sometime in 2005 causing the GameCube port of Double Fine's Psychonauts being canceled. I guess in an attempt to keep the GameCube port of Teen Titans from being canceled (As that would break the hearts of fans of the series who only have GameCubes, mostly kids at the time), they pretty much have THQ publish the console version while Majesco focuses on publishing both GBA games. Although there's promotional material that still kept Masjesco like trailers and posters, but possibly because they were made before the change of publishers happened. Also I want to share a canceled DC GameCube game. It's called Justice League: Injustice For All. There were suppose to be PS2, Xbox and GameCube versions of the game to release alongside with the GBA game. I am not too sure if this gameplay footage is based on the same game, but it was gonna be developed by Traveler's Tales. Your thoughts on it are fair, but I think the games look like a fun time for family game nights. I do love how sleek the console itself looks, as well as the controller. I also preordered the console cause I’m a massive Earthworm Jim fan, so having a new Earthworm Jim game coming from the same exact team that made the first 2 games has me sold on it lol.

The aqua man game does look pretty bad, got a thrashing rightfully so imho. I never did associate nintendo with high end graphics (cause I just have a switch and Gameboys) but looking at the textures in Batman begins, I wonder why Nintendo gave up the pursuit of strong graphics (maybe they still haven’t?). Yes, Aquaman is pretty bad 😂. Batman Begins really is a very nicely detailed game, with impressive texture work for sure. After the GameCube was when Nintendo stepped aside competing in the graphics department, and decided to look further into how to innovate the way we play games. I do miss Nintendo being a graphical powerhouse, but they always still impress with their visual art styles. Glad you enjoyed the video man!
Batman begins actually looks like a solid title! Having a fear system added is great! However, I still can’t with the Christian Bale-esk voice of Batman. I’ll never be a fan of that haha Oh no, Catwoman. What a mess 🤦🏻♂️ Remember playing the Xbox version at a friends house during launch and laughing because he bought it day 1. Hahah Poor Halley Berry. I have to say I was never much of a DC kind of guy. The Batman games stood out more to be enjoyable games, but that's just Batman for you. He will always get the special treatment due to his popularity, similar to Spiderman when it comes to their games. Also Teen Titans Go is top tier meme worthy! Just saying

The aqua man game does look pretty bad, got a thrashing rightfully so imho. I never did associate nintendo with high end graphics (cause I just have a switch and Gameboys) but looking at the textures in Batman begins, I wonder why Nintendo gave up the pursuit of strong graphics (maybe they still haven’t?). One could hope. Great video buddy. 👍😄
Yes, Aquaman is pretty bad 😂. Batman Begins really is a very nicely detailed game, with impressive texture work for sure. After the GameCube was when Nintendo stepped aside competing in the graphics department, and decided to look further into how to innovate the way we play games. I do miss Nintendo being a graphical powerhouse, but they always still impress with their visual art styles. Glad you enjoyed the video man!

Batman begins actually looks like a solid title! Having a fear system added is great! However, I still can’t with the Christian Bale-esk voice of Batman. I’ll never be a fan of that haha Oh no, Catwoman. What a mess 🤦🏻♂️ Remember playing the Xbox version at a friends house during launch and laughing because he bought it day 1. Hahah Poor Halley Berry. Aqua man. Oh yes. One of the most notoriously bad super hero games ever made. I’ve never tried it for myself and for good reasons. A game based on the original Teen Titans cartoon? (Even as a die hard Marvel fan) count me in! Can we just forget that teen titans go is a thing! I’m convinced there will never be a proper Superman game. 🤦🏻♂️ haha Nicely done on this video brother! Batman Begins was definitely a surprise to how good it is! The Batmobile sequences are really awesome! Catwoman…yeah, that one is pretty awful lol. I’d much rather play Batman Dark Tomorrow than another minute of Catwoman lol. I feel bad your friend bought that game on launch day. Definitely check out Teen Titans! Really fun game! I have to say I was never much of a DC kind of guy. The Batman games stood out more to be enjoyable games, but that's just Batman for you. He will always get the special treatment due to his popularity, similar to Spiderman when it comes to their games. Also Teen Titans Go is top tier meme worthy! Just saying
