Oh definitely! I’ve been meaning to do a follow up to this video with more current pricing. I’m trying to plan one for the near future 👍. Thanks again for checking out the video and providing that feedback!
I really wish Nintendo and other companies would bring back some of these series. Gamecube is hands-down my favorite console ever. So many memories. I have been playing Everything or Nothing recently. Classic.
100% agreed! The GameCube is such a phenomenal system, and that's part of what I'm trying to showcase through the channel. Trying to really do the system justice and show people how awesome it is! Also, Everything or Nothing is definitely a classic! Easily the best Bond game for the GameCube, and its up there with Goldeneye 007 as my favorite Bond game ever made. Thanks for checking out the video!
Loving this video so far! About halfway through it going to finish tomorrow. As a GameCube Mega fan I am definitely subscribing and hitting that notification!
Loved the opening music from the RE safe room :). This was a great video of good memories from one of the best generations of gaming consoles and from my favorite console that generation. The footage of GameCube games looked great and did not age bad.
Dave Mirra bmx 2 is one of my favs on the Gamecube; Runs perfectly, great controls, awesome maps and variety. Deff my fav out of the very few BMX games there are, lol.
Even after 6 months, this list still holds up regarding prices with some exception if course with the market that is still out of control! I've never heard of Smashing Drive and Beach Spikers but I'll be adding them to games I need to get! Need for Speed Underground is a fantastic game and is also my favorite game in the entire series! Great video and keep up the good work!
Glad to see that many values hover roughly in the approximate area all these months later! Smashing Drive and Beach Spikers are definitely games to nab now while they're on the more reasonable price side! Need for Speed Underground is one of the best racing games on the system, and I agree with you...the best in the entire series! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Out of these games that you recommend... I don't have the following in my collection: Smashing Drive, King Kong, Beach Spikers, and Wave Race. The rest I have already or are on another system. Awesome video though, I definitely want to pick up the ones you recommended that are still somewhat affordable because like you said, GameCube games have skyrocketed!
Thanks for checking out the video (the one that all started the channel lol)! Definitely recommend nabbing those sooner rather than later, as I’ve been seeing Smashing Drive go for $20 now (but you may be able to still nab it for cheaper). GameCube games really have skyrocketed in price within the past 2 years. Glad you enjoyed the video and the recommendations!
I currently have XG3 on the way. One of my earliest memories was playing that on the PS2 with my bro in law so I had to nab it again. Also hunting down the Prince of Persia trilogy for GameCube specifically along with 1080 Avalanche.
SSX 3 was so awesome! I played it on XBOX but if you only have access to a GC, and want the real deal, it's definitely worth the price even if it's $30. It is not backwards compatible on XBOX past the OG XBOX so either get a physical copy of either XBOX, GC or PS2 or emulate.
Thanks! Smashing Drive is definitely a fun, guilty pleasure game for me. It’s gone up a bit since this video (roughly $18-20 now), but still a really fun one to have in the collection. 👍
I remember going to Target as a kid after the GameCubes life cycle and seeing all the best games for the system on the shelf for $10-$15. Now as I go back and try to collect them, people want $80-$200 for a game that’s in good condition. Really should have gotten them when I had the chance.
Oh man, trust me I know the feeling. I could’ve had a complete GC collection for a fraction of the price had I jumped on them when they were dirt-cheap. I plan on doing a follow up video to this very soon show more games you can still get for under $20 in 2022 👍. Thank you for checking the video out!
Second sight was love at first sight for me. The story, gameplay, animations, art style, music, all of it. 1080 is just amazing. I don't know what their prices are right now, but I feel like Freedom Fighters and Hitman 2, as well as Rainbow Six 3 and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory should have remained under 20 and are very much worth checking out in my opinion.
Second Sight is such a great game! It’s such a shame that many people missed this game completely. 1080 Avalanche really is an awesome game! I believe the titles you mentioned are still under $20. I’m actually thinking of revisiting this covering 20 more (different) titles you can still get for under $20 👍. Thank you again for checking out the video, and the support!
At the time I recorded this in April 2021, they were all CiB prices 👍. Now several of these have gone up since then, but several have stayed in the same price range as well. Hope this video highlighted some games to get on the cheaper end!
I thought that Luigi’s Mansion must b on this list, it’s my only GameCube game and I was convinced it must be under 20$, but I was shocked to see the Players Choice at just over 64$ CIB. 🤯
I WISH I could’ve put Luigi’s Mansion on this list! Sadly that is still sitting in that $50+ range CiB. Glad you snagged your copy for $5 back then though! Thanks for checking out the video!
Nice! While the prices can be steep depending on the games, it's still possible to nab quality games for reasonable prices. I even did another video more recently about 6 GameCube exclusives you can get for under $100 total if interested! Thanks for checking out this video!
@@alexkirk5879 Yeah, it was a really cool idea for him to do a Terminator month! Thank you for checking out my channel through him, and hope you continue to enjoy both of our content!
@@mrcodcommando3939 You know, I remembered it being somewhat challenging back in the day. I need to revisit it for a full playthrough again since I do want to review it on the channel. I liked it, but liked Wave Race 64 more.

The OG Xbox had some great games too! Glad to hear how much the GC grew on you! Splinter Cell was awesome, and I loved using the GBA connected to the GC as an additional radar for the game. Wave Race and 1080 you can never go wrong with! Thanks for checking out the video man!
@@bradpruitt896 Much appreciated! Hope you continue to enjoy the content already on the channel, as well as future content! Have a new episode going live a week from today 👍
Wave Race Blue Storm is loads better than Wave Race 64. 64 is just too slow and floaty. Blue Storm is so fast and responsive, with super tight controls. I suppose 64 would be better if you just want a more basic, arcady racer, but if you really want to get into learning the courses and mastering the controls, Blue Storm is where it's at. Plus, the graphics still look amazing on a modern display, and the music is cool.
Dude Prince of Persia: Sands of Time was so hard as a kid, I hated it. Really cool concept though with all the time control features and parkour. Was ahead of it's time in that aspect, but damn the difficulty man. (っ◔◡◔)っ or maybe i just sucked at video games...

I hate on this console, but only because I want to beat myself up because I have ZERO games for it and the only one I did have, I sold somewhere down the line for very little. That game was a complete copy of F-Zero GX. I will never get to play it again. RIP
Oh man, I’m sorry to hear you sold your F-Zero GX CiB copy. That’s one of my favorite GC games (and probably my favorite racing game of all-time)! Thanks for checking out the video!
@@GameCubeGalaxy you have no idea how much that game means to me. I don’t even know what I did with the money I got or where I brought it to. All I know is I picked it up used for $39.99. Odds are I will never be able to afford a copy again at this rate.
