Plot twist: When Hank goes out for milk, he gets materials to start building a cloning machine, when he is done building he will begin cloning himself and soon rise up against scrapman. The small raids are simply intelligence missions, they can send the information to a building housing the bots even if they die, the information will be sent. (I am very tired, I don't know what I'm typing at this point.)
24:59 Do a staircase on the outside of the the tower starting from the right side going along the back and then ending up on the left side. OR Put pistons under the throne in the throne room and then have a switch on it so that you can make it like an elevator that you can take up to the top to look out and then switch it again so you can go back into the throne room.
For symmetry you could find a spot that start on the left & right side meet in the middle of the back to come out on top, rapping around from the sides to the back. The backside would look like an upsidedown V that doesn't touch the bottom, but instead raps around the sides where it reaches the bottom.
I know you said you were against moving parts, but I'm suggesting a piston below the throne chair to make the whole throne pop up on top anyway E: Mask the piston with ropes, gears, or a lever system to make it look old school.
remember the thing in the crashed ship that says "press E to use" but dosent actually do anything? there is an easter egg if u look over top of it. check it out, youll like it.
Oliver Erlandsson I know, but it would be better than a cramped staircase. And it would be hidden in the trône it self. And it will be only 2 pistons the chair and a controller, how much lag would that make?
I was about to comment it'd be freaking amazing if the throne was an elevator itself, but then scrapman remebered me about the lag. But the throne beeing an elevator would be really sick imo!
I have a suggestion. Why don't you replace the back board of the throne with a gear like your logo. Sorry for the bad English. Edit: also paint the throne red and black
My suggestion for the staircase: place the stairs coming out on both sides (as you started doing but on the other side too), both making the curve towards the throne when they reach the back wall, and meeting in the center behind the throne , from this point they can continue climbing towards the "front" of the fortress and would end with the exit facing forward. I think that this design would outline the throne giving more prominence to it.
Idea: make a scrapman logo with a clockinside of it instead of the SM (You can make a clock with a controller and some logic and timers, there's a tutorial for it on UA-cam) EDIT: Another idea: Put ember in the furnace to make it look in use
Throne room needs to be 6-8 tiles wider each direction, 2 mountable spud guns in the chest on the deck, and at the packing plant, since you can only run one fruit/veggie at a time, just grab the chest and attach it to the existing chest rather than emptying into your inventory, saves time. Love your work man. Keep up the great content
I’ve been watching most of this series and I haven’t said anything yet, but I can’t hold back anymore. You sir are f**king crazy!! That base is insane my guy!
At the entrances to the warehouses, where the caution tape barriers are located, there's a guardhouse. Inside is a nice, cushioned chair (and a base!) you can use for your throne. It can be used on a bearing if you want to turn your chair regally. As a king does.
I suggest building little jutting pillars out of the side of the flat wall to 'hold' up the gear platform. not straight up, but built out away from the wall a little so it looks like a support.
Not quite a staircase, but you could put pistons under the throne so the throne is an elevator, and it would look cool being on the top of the castle, but it can also be brought down into the throne room.
Put Angle Brackets attached to the wall and to bottom of Speaking platform, so it looks like a realistic supports for the cantilevered speaker platform.
Add an extra wall around the outside of the throne room. You can put a stairway in that space. with a door/opening in the side of the throne room. It would cover the walkway behind the room, so you can have an arched overhang over that (under the second stretch of the staircase). But also the throne room should be bigger. Grander.
I feel like you could make a better storage system with glass pipes: you can dedicate specific chest slots for water and chemicals on the bottom floor. Don't connect them to constantly running water pumps through for obvious reasons.
You could build a Giant statue of your character. Also, the stairs for your throne room could go up on either side of the chair (Inside the throne Room), to an overhang above the throne, which then has a door to the back of the tower with more stairs going up on either side to the top of the tower around the outside. Also, you should start making Flag posts with SM flags :-D
Suggestions: using the existing doors on the back wall put two sets of stairs behind the workshop leading up. Extend the throne room width by 8 blocks on either side. building stairs inside may be easier.
Scrapman to get to the top of the thrown room , you can make a staircase that goes around the corner on the exterior wall . Make it using brick instead of wood. It will give a nice aesthetic.
You should throw like a light house on the top of the throne room or put some sort of decoratory structures on either side of the throne room to fill that space to make the throne room area look busier. Maybe just catapults that are decorations that you don't use
stairs in the throne room: do them going up the one side like you had before, then a landing/catwalk that goes over the throne, then continue up the other side. there's more symmetry that way.
Looking good, Scrapman. The I-beam curves on the throne kind of look like claws. Speech platform idea: Might take more time than you want, but you could further design the underside of it to look more like the inner parts of a gear (the sprocket, so to speak). Top tower suggestion: I think it would look better for the tower to be wider (though, of course, that would mean a lot more farming). Consequentially, the throne room would be bigger. Throne rooms should be vast in order to receive petitioners. Don't know how you'd do this, but guards on either side of the throne would look cool and you'd now have more room for it. Top tower roof access idea: If you make the platform on the top even wider than the tower base, you could have stairs from the back of the tower that go up through the platform and, thus, it wouldn't have mess up the inside aesthetic. Also, if you made the top tower wider, you'd have more room to put the stairs on back without having to build outward too much.
Maybe you can widen the top tower a bit so it will rectangular instead of square. Possibly change the shape of the crenellations of the lookout towers to more of a gear shape. Or make the throne into a turret.
AW I was going to suggest that the whole throne be on pistons and rise up! Also, put your logo on the front of the throne room! Maybe make the top tower slightly taller and wider, that should fix the proportion difference. It's possible hank is "touching" the bottom of the pool and that is why he went to get milk, maybe make it a bit lower and see if that keeps him there.
The Dinky look can be fixed, by adding a exterior walkway all around the mid section, at the same floor level as the Speaker platform, it will widen the base, giving it large, medium and then "dinky" gradual tower increase. Add stairs on those exterior walkways on the sides, which will also solve the problem of having access to the workshop and up to the top. BOOM! NEXT PROBLEM!
for the staircase, try to go up left and right of the throne like you did, meet in the middle and go up from the back to the front, paint the underside purple and you have some more royal coloring in there
If you want the announcement deck to look less free-floaty, you could add wedge supports under it connecting to the walls on either side of the arch door
By the throne put two stairs either side a little plat form in the middle behind the throne where the two stairs meet and then go up to the top that would look really cool
Build Hank a Scrap Castle. It will be made of scrap metal and scrap wood like the ruins. Hank and his friends won't be able to live in it because they'll destroy but it will be cool i think. Maybe it will be a cow farm and you would store cows in it.
The idea I have for the throne room is why dont you shape it like a Oprah house (open clam shell) to give it more width and open up the view from the throne. Love your videos BTW
You should make the throne be attached to a button and that raises the throne with pistons through the hole in the sealing I know it would add more moving parts but it would look so cool as you ascend to the heavens.
Put pistons under the throne and connect the controller to the throne and make your throne go all the way up to the top of the tower and bottom of the throne will fill the gap on the tower
Hear me out: Put the throne on a couple of pistons. The throne is a giant elevator, that takes you up to the top of the tower. Hell for lag? Probably. But so, so cool.
An idea for the throne room could be to put totebot heads in it as a show of your power and to scare any enemies. Another suggestion is to put a giant flag and flagpole on top of the throne tower
On the top tower, where the throne room is, keep in mind that exterior stairways don't have to be directly attached along the walls. Stairways that look like flying buttresses would add some width to the appearance of the tower. And no throne room is complete without a roll of TP.
To get to the top, you should put the throne on a piston hidden under it. So when you push a button, the piston lifts the seat all the way to the top level.
you should build 2 staircases in the throne room going from the sides of the doorway and then they go towards the back of the throne and meet in the middle and then go up above the doorway.
For the final tower, a ladder may be a better choice, going up 4-5 blocks a step. Visual impact can be further limited by having each step jut from the wall and/or reducing it to just 2 from the wall.
Maybe do like a dining room with a wide table, kind of like a medieval feast; you can put the fruits & vegetables down i think, so maybe like a crowded table etc :)
Maybe give the throne tower a larger footprint but bring the throne closer to the door so there's room for a false wall at the back that will hide a slightly cramped stairway to the top? Castles have stuff like that but usually going down and out.
Use your seat off your trhone to go up, put it on a piston and hook it up on a switch, that way you will be able to go up, some sorth off elevator., anyway wonderfull vid again
You should put a piston under the throne so that at the push of a button you can go all the way up to the top of the tower without needing to leave your throne
In the throne room instead of a 90 degree corner staircase do a stair case that does a 180 and doubles back on itself or have a piston elevator that raises the throne but disguise it to look like ropes lowering and raising the throne
In the two tower rooms, you can make one an armory with all of you amazing gear, and the other room can be a trophy room. You could have fake weapons like a sword or other things.
I think the throne would look better in the arch way to the speech platform and would give you leway in changing up the shape of the building so you can make it less box-like since you don't need to worry about "supporting" any higher up structures since the building seems too large for everything around the castle.
Suggestions:
The 2 towers have statues in the center
The throne has a piston so that the throne can rise up to the top as well
Perhaps one statue could be of Scrapman's player character and the other could be of Hank.
What about no elevators
Idea: make it look like a rope is puling the throne up like a medieval elevador
Emil Lindo I was thinking the exact same thing about the throne haha
Another same idea.
The way scrapman parkours Down the side of his castle and the use of toilets to get back up is just👌
Plot twist: When Hank goes out for milk, he gets materials to start building a cloning machine, when he is done building he will begin cloning himself and soon rise up against scrapman.
The small raids are simply intelligence missions, they can send the information to a building housing the bots even if they die, the information will be sent.

OR
Put pistons under the throne in the throne room and then have a switch on it so that you can make it like an elevator that you can take up to the top to look out and then switch it again so you can go back into the throne room.
Better than stairs inside. Stairs look like trash in Throne Room. Maybe a hidden Toilet. Or stairs on outside like you said.
😁
For symmetry you could find a spot that start on the left & right side meet in the middle of the back to come out on top, rapping around from the sides to the back.
