Ben Mike if you grind enough for oil, kAN made a really good flyer that is surprisingly fuel efficient for how fast and far it goes, in my opinion it’s worth it, I haven’t made one, but I think it’s worth the fuel

Showoff your bases ,features ,vehicles and everything with moonbo, Kan, squiddy, and rate each other's world. At the top make a diving pad to dive right into the ocean at the back, make a long straight tower with many seats to the top of the sky box and jump down to the ocean.
I’ve done this on my vehicles. I’ve put those spotlights (the craftable ones) on bearings with controllers so they can rotate and make a 360 degree field of light. You could apply this to your castle to do spotlights to light up portions of your castle, and make them 2 axis so they can go side to side and up and down
Hey Scrapman, a quick suggestion for the base! For the throne room, maybe add a trap door roof access so that there's not a gaping hole if/when ever you go up to the very top via stairs? Was imagining some kind of free swinging hinge that the throne will push up and open as it rises.

On top of the archways, build a giant shining ScrapMan logo, just like the wrench on the mechanic station. As Scrap Manor is the ultimate station, it should have the grandest display light of any of the stations. Far grander than that of the mechanic station or packing stations. Maybe even spinning?
Hide the throne logic in the throne, also place the switch on the floor by piston and remove 1 block from throne so the second switch is concealed when the throne is down.
year, a throne without a mug - is not a throne! There is even building instructions for the suspension mug in the starter spaceship! Hidden behind the locked control box :)
Hey, scrap man I have a suggestion, try making the lights go up with you by putting them on bearing. The top tower lights a the roof at timestamp 21:31. It will look cool
You could make the back wall thick, and hide the piston inside with a gap all the way up. Put the piston off center from the gap in the wall, so even when it goes up it's around a corner. Then connect to the back of the chair, and it will look like it's levitating!
Defenses, ScrapMan! With the new update, you may need more ways to deal with the bots! Especially the TapeBots and the big red bot. Also, when you're adding the lights for the top tower, have them only turn on when the throne is up there. Or even have the lights come up with the throne, have them just below the ceiling so you wouldn't need tier 5 pistons.
You know what you should do is make it so the spud guns can fire, so like you can have like a celebratory 21 gun salute on the top of your tower or something like that. That would look pretty cool. too bad you can't have flaming potatoes or ones that explode, then it would be like a fireworks display. I really like how the castle is turning out though.
The throne should also be a defence gun that you can aim to kill farm bots it will extend to the front of the base and the guns will come down and shoot the bot and then will go back with a swich
Have the extra towers come out the sides with 22 blocks, But the Depth doesnt have to be. This way it will look symmetrical from the front, but set back in front and back by few blocks, and will free up a path for after the stairs! BOOM NEXT PROBLEM!

Maybe try to make a vehicle that can do both logging and mining. To take the vehicle idea to its natural extreme, perhaps a hybrid vehicle with as many functions as possible mashed into it.

I also wanted to mention I played Scrap Mechanic Survival today for the second day ever and I appreciate your advice. My character glitched into a mineral resource node and couldn't move at all. Fortunately, although I'd never used it before for anything I had a toilet with me.

To fix the ugly piston thing you could build a column below it that comes up instead of pistons. Then on the lower deck (where the column moved up) you could hide a special chest or room
Make a "Scrap Room" With colored pipes on loose barrens paints to be wires and a ton of scrap wheels and stuff, I don't know put some tires in there as well. Just a cool thought I had.
Hey scrapman make a door for the elevator chair instead of a hole in the ceiling. You push the button and it opens the door. But when you go fully down the door will close and make the room a little bit nicer

Grab a few other players : Kan, Moonbo, Durf etc whoever. everyone gets to build themselves a small vehicle. then you each get a few stacks of fuel and mad max it. drive out into the roads together or into the forests, or wherever. each gets a burger. but thats it. see how far you can get without dying by only getting stuff from crates on the road and in buildings, and milking wocs. I guess if you get dirt and seeds and get desperate you can plant some stuff but this is really meant to be about scavenging. I'd recommend having a small or large chest on your vehicle,and letting everyong have a spare tyre, a spare seat, a stack of wood maybe?.. potatoes.. whatever.. you'll figure it out.
You should have it close the door to the throne room when it's raised as 'The King is unavailable'. Also, I think there should be a hatch that opens on the ceiling rather than it being open. Finally please paint your base in your channel colors that would look awesome.
I would love to see you tackle the 4 raid automated defense scrap metal and components farm. You can get 4 raids with placing the farm on the intersection of 4 chunks, potentially getting 40 haybots per night. Crushing haybots with collectors using pistons or bearings with hammer like motion could take care of scrap collecting, and if there are refineries on the top it could automatically transform stuff to scrap metal. Now that T3 metal can be destroyed by Haybots I think some new ideas for raid defence and raid farming would be cool.

The two throne room side towers could be a little in-set vs flush with the central tower to give it a bit of aesthetic distinction. This way you would also save on brick and make more space for the stairs at the back. Also, the throne room ceiling white lights totally bleach out the bottom colored lights such that one can hardly see the atmospheric effect of those (limited) lights. Can they be dimmed a little?

Hey Scrapman you can have ' Mountable Spudguns ' at the middle top part which u are currently making like Cannons . Castle usually have the cannon artilery which will probably look cool
I think the gear supports need to be one or two blocks thicker, it looks like they would just buckle under the weight - not to mention big, thick gears are steampunk staples which would really go with your base.

A flyer/boat hybrid would be the best I think, it could maybe be medium sized and have an onboard refinery for its fuel even.

Building an areal vehicle would be beneficial
you could fill the gap between the farm and the bridge-towers with gear-type support like the one on the speech-platform
The supports under the gear shaped platform should be atleast 3 blocks thick. Currently they look too delicate to be supporting such a huge platform

Those yellow lights good too man...also you can go the scrap city and scavenge something useful...maybe lights or so.
