The schematic and deployer for the tree farm is a great option, especially in large scale farms. Tho, for a small sized area like the one you got here, you could simply change grass block for stone or cobble and leave grass only where you want the deployer to plant the saplings.
A nice tip about the spinning farms; You can have the interface in the middle facing up to have a constant connection to the inventory. That way it will never have to stop and "kiss" for it to unload its inventory.
6:20 a trick I like to use to see where a contraption will chop/deploy/etc, is to use a plow in place of the intended device. it will helpfully show you exactly which blocks will be affected by plowing the dirt there.

I love the wireless redstone so much! It makes figuring out complicated circuits much easier, and it's instantaneous.
For building using a pallet where it doesnt matter the block but the color theme you want can be very cool in bigger builds and if you do custom terrains/biomes then you can do very cool things without using any dirt or sand variants
7:20 wait, do deployers normally work that way?? If so that's huge, I'll definitely be using that next time I set up a farm like that! I always learn a new way to do something I hadn't considered before every time I watch a new video of yours!
Also the UA-camr loading circle fits your thumbnail absolutely perfectly
Quality crops, if a vanilla item (like sugarcane) can be put in a crafting inventory to refuce its quality down. You may have to do it a couple times to get it down to vanilla quality!
Anytime I try to take silver sugarcane quality down I end up with silver quality sugar. 😅
seems to be, like... a really poorly made mod if everyone I've seen use it is actively trying to mitigate, avoid, and cull out any implementation of its mechanics in-game. haha

I've always thoight immersive engineering goes so well woth create. Having gears and power lines and big machines just looks fantastic together. It's really fun to use create to transport stuff around and then use immersive machines for some stuff and create contraptions for other stuff as I feel like it is just ao darned fun!
It’s not a terrible place to present the use of a schematic on a deployer, but you only need to add the saplings to their filter and allow them to place in a full circle. All you’re doing is reducing the overall chance for a tree to grow in the random growth ticks.
But hey, either gets the job done.
There's an easier way to make your spruce place 2x2 only in certain locations, if you don't have access to schematics...only make 2x2 squares of plantable blocks (dirt) in those places...make the rest of the surface of tree farm stone.

Chosen there should be a quadcopter that is better for building and also there is a create jetpack mod that lets you hover
take down some notes mod devs, stilts so we can extend our height and maybe even some adgjustable arm grabbers. Maybe we should even get some construction vehicles and items

The center area could perhaps be an open-air mezzanine, either as a living-area/garden area (a living-space for your pets) or as a service/shop/control area. Above that could rise a super-jankily connected cobble of buildings in the steampunk style--completely messing up the vibe at ground level by making it seem like the additions were horribly unplanned to solve some minor emergency.
Alternatively, perhaps the punk vibe could be hidden underground as a dirty/grungy/unpleasant underbelly while the centerpiece is a fancy veranda with a sleek, post-modern/new-age impossible megastructure rising up above it. The overall vibe would follow somewhat along the Matt Damon film Elysium.
My biggest issue with Quality Crops is that when you use them to make the farmer's delight meals, you lose the special effects like Comfort or Nourishment.
Wish they made that properly compatible, then they would actually be worth farming.
Rather than extendolegs or maybe as well as such a construction vehicle or two would be really cool or even a mech for big builds with mega storage or something

Hey Chosen, if this is on the sophisticated storage version i think it is, then there are some cheaper copper upgrades for stack upgrades and such that add a little bit of extra storage but less than iron if you’re burning through a lot of iron making them.

My biggest issue with quality crops is the pretty massive oversight of not being able to turn any sugarcane over silver level into its equal level sugar, it just downgrades the sugarcane

I would love to see an unconventional build with the create stuff. We all should know the standard spinny contraptions, but what about a large arm that extends out and cuts trees? what about a multi-layer rube Goldberg machine that creates a complicated food item? That would be true steampunk to me!

You do not need an Stockpile-Switch on an Contraption like this, because the Storage-Interfaces do not interact with the Deployers.
However... you may want to use thees Idea, if at least one Deployer had to use more than an Stack of Items. But even then you do not have to take the Inventory of the other Deployers in account.
Saves on Materials and Complexity ^^;
The quality crops can be placed into s crafting grid yo give you the loeer quality, so you dont need to void everything. Yes its extra items thst take uo space, but you can reduce the quality so they stack better.
Is the create jetpack disabled in this mod? It's a little more op than the gogo gadget extendo feet but still 🤣
Extendo legs is already exists. In form of ring of low flying above ground.
You should try adding distant horizons to the pack. Works fine for me
In my world, my harvesters just wont harvest crops for some reason. Can't find any thing online about why it wouldnt work. Very frustrating. I'm guessing it has something to do with quality crops

That I don't think so unless you make a huge schematic as you have to place the schematic in a location for the contraption to work from

Do you think he'll ever learn that if he adds a small water wheel to the big water wheels, it'll spin at the speed of the small wheel with the stress of the big ones and generate extra RPM for free?
That seems like a bug and will be fixed overtime so if I show the intended way the video will be more timeless.

Dude, I do appreciate your stuff, but this modpack has dungeons, temples, bosses, end-game stuff that takes a long time to get.... And your videos usually go like 30 episodes. There's no way you're completing 1/4 of the stuff in this modpack unless you start exploring what this modpack has. I know it's create as well, but this pacing will take you 100+ episodes to finish.
So what do you expect me to do... Just have everything from the start? This pack has a grindy start as there are no tools to help me mine faster or anything... Everything is manual. I will have everything automated in time and will rek the bosses!
@@ChosenArchitect the modpack was designed so you don't have to automate. The powerful ingots/gear are things you find and can't/don't need to automate anyway. And if you have any desire to go to the end to beat the dragon, you're looking at like 20-50 hours just to find the eyes...

hopefully mods can easily be removed from this pack, that season one is first to go. the storage mod is second then that daft height of the wold breathing one will disapear. I will not repeat what my young ward has said, its not polite. they are 7.
Id just get rid of that stupid crop mod and maybe the seasons one but I can definitely understand where you're coming from
