I'm in the market for one of these, and your video is a valuable source for my research. Had everything except a triple, one of these might do the trick. Thanks, Pal. Safe journey.

This motor and ergonomics are excellent and the prices are really good too. Good luck Randy and let me know how you like it after you get one.

I’m a 55 year old man with one replaced knee so if your were picking between this bike or a 900GT is there much difference between the comfort? I exercise daily so Im in pretty good shape but lost some flexibility in that one leg so your input would be appreciated.

It would be hard to beat the Triumph 900 GT Pro as far as your knee bend. I like the 660 Tiger Sport a lot and it would have been better knee wise with the stock seat but the one I tested had a lower seat.
Some taller folks complain about the heat on the 900 GT Pro but being only 5'8" tall I don't feel much heat but if you have long legs then that could cause you some discomfort.
Generally the stock Tiger 660 Sport handle bar ergonomics are slightly better but I've changed those on my 900 GT Pro so I'd say the GT Pro is better now. I'll give the edge on engine smoothness to the Tiger 600 Sport although I think it is geared to low in stock form and would benefit from a 17T front and 2 teeth lower on the back for longer rides.
Sorry for the delay but sometimes comments don't pop for a day or two and I found this one by searching.

I am a 52 years old newbie on bikes passing from maxi scooter. Do you think this beauty 660 is beginner friendly as first bike? Thanx for the nice review and regards from Serbia 🇷🇸✌️

The relatively lighter weight and balance of the bike is excellent .
The power comes on smooth and is easy to modulate .
I'd say the seat height might be a little tall if your under 5'8" but they have a lower seat available.
I think it work perfectly for a newer rider and one that you probably don't won't tire of quickly or grow out of.
As an older rider than yourself it is a bike I'll be likely buy when I give up my Tiger 900 .

@@justdad53 thanx for your reply, I am 1,82cm high with 100 kg, and I've been to the Triumph dealer here in Belgrade, and I have both flat foot legs, the bike seems to be light for handling, and felt in love!!! Didn't get a test ride 😵‍💫, but I think now seriously to buy the Tiger 660 after watching so many different bikes ✌️

@@svaralen You are certainly tall enough for sure....just thought I'd ask. The test ride will help you a ton. Pay close attention to the ergonomics because test rides are so short and it is almost impossible for a fairly new rider to figure it out during a ten minute test ride. I always have my wife take a picture of me on the bike from the side so I can see how I fit.
