What an amazing teacher Esther is ... I thought my crocheting skills were way too basic to undertake the project, but once I followed Esther's youtube's I've actually been able to complete something that actually looks like the picture, AND enjoy doing it ... thanks Esther, you the best ... I love all of your tutorials. You are very soft spoken and you explain everything you do incredibly well. A beginner can follow you as long as you know the basic crochet stitches. My old man has nothing to do with learning how to crochet and he watched this video with me and even he said he can follow you lol. Great job girl.

Esther, I have copy/pasted my comment from facebook, Official CCC group, because I never seem to directly tell you how much I appreciate what you do. " It is great you stuck with it Ruth. I really believe Esther is the best crochet teacher on UA-cam. She puts so much thought into making sure you see exactly what you need to. I recently decided that watching her videos you almost feel like you are in the drivers seat... Doing a couple of wonderful designer pieces with Esther Dijkstra really teaches/ improves crochet skill like nothing else I have come across." I want to make sure you know how appreciated you are. Thank you!

the one thing that is confusing me is on round 10, when I start round 10 there are 2hdc, 2ch and 2hdc in in the corner, 1hdc in the first stitch, then we skip the next stitch (where we did the sc from the previous round) and then 1hdc in the next 3, bpsc, 3hdc, bpsc etc until the next corner. So now that we at the next corner and after doing the hdc in the first stitch after the corner, do we skip the sc from the previous round - like we did in the beginning or do we do a bpsc in that stitch - the one just before the 3 hdc?

I learned crochet with my grand mama, for economy ...hat ,mits, scarf and warnm thick blanket! No yarn towaste and stay in budget to. Now that I am retired , I am doing one for each my 4 grown up children ! Am doing two at the same times one about the sea and omen about the Earth! Thank you ! For us with multi languages just reading the written patterns we need a little extra! From Canada🇨🇦Please keep your video on your tube for a long times!
