This video is an excellent example of why Esther is the perfect instructor. This pattern had lots of tricky spots, like back purl bump stitch placement, and Esther's calm, clear "let's keep our wits about us" logic fills the crocheter with confidence.
You make it sound wonderful 😃
❤❤Esther❤❤. Couldn’t do this hard pattern without you. 😘😘
You're welcome
I’ve just found your videos and they are fantastic! I’m really enjoying watching them. You’re an amazing teacher. Thank you for taking the time to record and explain so efficiently.
Thank you for your kind words, welcome to my channel
If you didn't walk me through this with your lovely patient voice, I may not have tried it because of the tricky spots. It's so lovely I can't wait to finish it 💖😊
go good to hear that you are succeeding
I have to admit, some instructors have annoying voices, especially when they say the same thing over and over. Your pleasant voice and infinite patience makes you a great teacher. Thank you!!!!!!!!
thank you for your kind wrods
Such beautiful work, thankyou for your time
I love your channel!
You are the best!
Thank you for choosing my pattern. Love the colour selection in the video. Beautiful block in your capable hands! Margaret
Thank you do much!
Hola hermosa voz. No domino su idioma pero he entendido su excelente explicación. Muchas gracias por su video. He quedado suscrita a su canal. Saludos
I know you did this video a while back but I am using it now and see others are too. I love your videos!!! You don’t move so quickly that I can’t keep up or figure out what you are doing. You explain yourself stitches extremely well. I found myself smiling as I was going because mine was looking like yours and I was in the same place as you so my stitch count was correct! You have such a calm voice and I just find your tutorials so enjoyable!! I am making cushions for my kitchen chairs and doing them all in different squares but using the same color pallet. I appreciate you and your talent so much!! Next cushion is going to have one of your nuts about squares patterns I have not decided which one yet. All of them will be using your videos though!! In one I did use one of Anya’s patterns from Ophelia talks. I used her daisy in the corner pattern for one cushion. I love her too, she is a dear person!! Anyway, now that I have written a book as I am isolating due to having Coronavirus y’all are keeping me company and helping me make cushions!! 😍🤪
thank you for your kind words, stay safe
Your tutorial is by far the best I have seen. Your instruction is so clearly defined. Perfect teacher. I am waiting for my yarn to arrive . Hard to be patient. Thank you.
thank you so much
Thank you for your tutorials! You're absolutely great ❤️
Thank you :)
Hola desde España. Quería darte las gracias por enseñarme paso a paso . Tus labores son geniales y es muy fácil seguirte, a pesar de mi poco inglés. Muchas gracias. Un gran abrazo💞
Thank you for your kind words, good to hear that you can follow along.
I as searching and searching for a unique set of squares for my ever cold sister in law?
I'm blown away as my husband watches football? Ugh
I make your squads you always keep me on track send they are all beautiful
Cup of tea and easy to go :)
You could consider some of the squares from the Nuts about Squares crochet along? There are several unique squares in that project.
Really beautiful and I love your instructions
Thank you
Very beautiful work 💕💕💕 thanks for teaching us ❤️
My pleasure 😊
so detailed, I love it Thank you for shairing
you're welcome
This is so really gorgeous and many times i found your illustration motifs have better colors:))
Thank you 😊
Might I suggest using stitch markers to flag every second stitch before commencing the chain 8's on round 2. It's the only way I've been able to keep track which stitch to s/s into next 🙂
Thanx for the tip
Thanks for this great tip! I tried without them first, and my count was off. Frogged back and marked every other stitch, and it went much better! Definitely recommend doing this, especially if you're using the thinner Sunkissed yarn.
Working on those back bump sticthes I wish I chose the stonewashed colorway 😉
stonewashed is a favorite of many people
Woooow
Hola hermosa saluditos!!! De mexico me acabo de inscribir no comprendo ingles pero mirando. Puedo aprender bendiciones😘😘😘
Hope you will enjoy making many beautiful things :)
Scheepjes yarn is not available to me in the US. I was wondering how many yarns the skeins are and what the weight is?
By the way, I LOVE the invisible join.
it's a nice technique :)
Scheepjes is carried by Love Crochet (US based), and Wool Warehouse ship internationally at very reasonable rates. All info about the yarn for this project is on my blog. Link in video description
I have watched the Tropical Delight video tutorial which is so good! I am wondering if these beautiful squares are part of a blanket, Afghan ? Thank you
Yes, my nuts about squares CAL blanket. More info on my blog, link in video description
In your video for stone washed yarn, you say use 4.00 and 3.5 hooks. Surely that is the sizes for colour crafter?
In this video I am using 4mm and 3.5mm. This video is a selfcontained entity.
This is not the same as the instructions for Nuts About Squares, no.
hi dear ,, can you make in bloom cal tutorial ?? its very nice cal
Yes, it is a fabulous project. I don't know what my next project will be. Still contemplating my options :)
🌷🖒
Please can you let me know what the stitch count is after round 10? I'm on round 11 and it's not adding up. Thank you
the stitch count is in the written pattern, I don't have that with me, I am not the designer of the square, I only made the video for it as part of a larger project
I`m kind of confused here. The normal hook size for Stone Washed is 3,5. And according to the blog the normal hook size is required here. And in this video you are using hook size 4 and 3,5. Should I go up a hook size?
I believe I mixed up hook sized when I was making the video. Use the 3.5 and 3mm hooks is best if I recall.
It's all in a Nutshell Crochet thank you very much 👍🏻
i will be so greatfull if you make it
You do the best tutorials, so easy to follow. Your work is art. Thank you for helping me do beautiful work.
❤❤❤😍😚
No shortcuts. Wow. Have to keep your wits together. Thx.
I'm sure you will be fine :)
