How would you fight off the wall?

Not sure about off the wall, but if I'm on the ropes, I really like pull countering. I feel like often my opponent thinks I am out of mobility once my heels touch the rope and that can be exploited if they get cocky.

It really depends on the striker type and how fast they swing. Typically i've shelled up, waited for a hook, and than duck and pivot away. I've never gone against a muy thai base but I assume that would be a terrible idea against them or kickers in general. Also, never gone against a wrestler but I think the ducking portion may or may not work depending on if the shoot or if they use the duck to push your momentum down.

depends on the ruleset, I'd either cheat by grabbing or engage in whatever grappling is allowed

Are we talking about self defense or martial arts? In the first case, i want to know if there is a weapon involved. So first thing i would do, is to check the hands (reaching pocket).
If not, how about that sweep from Gabriel and then a groin kick, step out kick to the knee, then maybe (depends on the position of your opponent) a hammer fist to the brainstam, run away. Another way could be a spear elbow driving forward or palm strike, head butt knee or kick to groin or solar plexus ,step out, run away.
Love the videos, greetings from the Netherlands

Just like most other aspects in martial arts, timing and leverage is key! Watch the rematch between Superbon vs Grigorian for 5 rounds of staying off the cage (especially compared to their first fight!)

      Timing and distance.
      ..
But so many people don't wanna learn it.

I agree with Shane about initiating the clinch with an elbow entry. I'd look to drive off the wall with a spearing elbow or a shoulder blow to the solar plexus and then clinch. That's where that fa jin principle is really important because you have to generate power while staying very compact so you don't have to come out of your shell.
I also liked Mike's double ton sau (lift at the elbows).

Only technique that ever seemed to work for me is the catch counter left hook.
Vicente Luque has dozens of these in the UFC especially when he's hurt.
Cover up nicely as Gabriel showed and the second you feel their right hand hit your left hand immediately fire the left hook. You don't even need to be looking at them, and it usually catche them by surprise because your eyes might be looking down. He caught Wonderboy with this a tonne in their fight.

Rory Millers Draculas cape is a bridging ( they have a youtube on it ) Your lead hand is bent with elbow at a point other hand is low so fist is under lead hand , it is a sort hop with lead leg to get contact bump with elbow Ive added a , sweep leg inside lead ( they will put weight in response to elbow land and same time whipping a very strong almost mantis like motion hand towards neck /shoulder , It will get you out of corner

i have one¡ is about fluidity of movement and framing with a kick, example @kevinLeeVlog was against the wall but still threw kicks time and time again, the technique is once you throw the kick you connect but push with it to so you make a sort of frame and push with it so it moves you, as you push yourself to the direction of your scape with the other leg, that way your opponent cant follow because of the frame leg, and you get a clean exit, because is all one motion.

One thing I like to do, is lower my level like Icy Mike says, and because I have a solid base and roll with shots well, I'll post with my forearms and give a quick shove to the body from the lower level to create space to escape the wall.

I didnt know you werent supposed to push shove with your punch... Sometimes I aim 2 feet past a person just for the exta shoving power so i can walk slowly towards them after they stumble and get the Micheal Myers scary effect.
