I think we need a bigger truck for this.

If there's anything I've learned from recovery videos, it's don't disconnect the dang trailer.
Impressive recovery!
Yep and they always do
same here
I kinda think disconnecting was what allowed that jeep to get that out. I don't think would had resistance or weight to move that if it was.
@@arbiter1 we would have deployed 2 land anchors if it wasn’t enough
I guess my comments don't even matter anymore @@matt.mckinzie
Thank you for documenting the recovery process without the ads and theatrics of some other channels.
You blew that old gentleman's mind!!! Nice work, as always!!
Gee whiz, Matt! There needs to be a recovery hall of fame! Just inside the doors would be that incredible jeep, a life size cutout of you, and a warn winch display. Is there AnyThing you can't do????? Hats off, again!
Hmm.. get time off, perhaps? Lol
🤣
International Towing & Recovery Museum
Museum in Chattanooga, Tennessee ‧ Open
Your knowledge and understanding is way more valuable than all the tools!!! Thanks for showing us how.
I'm not easily amazed but that amazed me. Warn needs to give you a winch!
Nice job! Looks like you have had some big truck experience before!
We did
He is lucky the landing gear didn't punch through that soft dirt.
It does suck to have to block and crib a trailer back up. But not the end of the world.
No dirt. Just pure sand
The dirt wasn't soft or it would have
He probably saved himself a few bucks calling you
And he still asked for a discount 🤣
great job along with superb patience and expertise!!
This question is to Florida off-road recovery.... You seem to have your Gladiator equipped for almost every job, Do you have another rig on the drawing board. What will you use next time around?
Yes
We are looking at another gladiator build but with a wrecker bed on the back with legs
And one tons
Ok bigger truck would be nice but 1 the contents better this way. 2 who else can say they pulled this out with a jeep. And 3 this need to be jeeps superbowl commercial if not its an epic fail. Thanks for the kick butt content
I hope you charged "rotator" money lol
I think that guy was flabbergasted you pulled him out of there with the Jeep.
I know I am!
Your knowledge of rigging is amazi. Hope you make a comfortable living doing it because you are really good at it
I love pulleys and anchors! Give me a big enough lever and I’ll move the world!
That jeep is now 6 inches long! Great job
thanks for the constant vids u do great work
The little JEEP that can do as long as you have Matt doing the rigging, nice job as always.
Pulleys really are amazing.
hate people who hover while i work.
Impressive 👍🏻. I like how you describe the rigging.
New to the channel and subscribed
Mr Matt Nice recovery. Thanks for sharing and stay safe
Truly impressive. That is a lot of weight to be pulling. Great job.
for what you do you need to find a log skidder. that was some big risk disconnecting the trailer it could of easily just sunk the landing gear
Was disconnected before he arrived
Imagine a prius owner getting stuck in a tree 30ft up....FORR "Don't worry we got you"
👇The legend has it there's no job too big for the little Jeep
I think I would give more credit to the winch
I'd give a bit of credit to the rigger.
Why do they always disconnect the trailer?
Another absolutely amazing recovery. You should have a school that is USA national to teach your skills to others. Absolutely incredible knowledge and skill , second to none.
Your rig is so well suited for the recoveries you do. Super impressed. I can't remember, do you have upgraded Axel's or the stock rubicons?
Upgraded and we are going to make a video of all the upgrades done to date soon
I will say this as long as the only thing that cause a winch rope to fail when recovering a big truck is not in the system any thing including a jeep can put it
Use the airbag suspension on the semi once you are under the 5th wheel plate. Air it down to go under. Then up. Crank. Deflate. Backup. Repeat
Aren’t you concerned about the frame on your jeep?
👇The legend has it the frame of that jeep has been reinforced don't know if that's true or not
I don't know if he's reinforced the frame or not, it certainly wouldn't hurt, but anyway steel is really strong in tension so as long as the pull is mostly straight from the back or straight from the front his frame is probably alright.
@@stuglenn1112 those forces don’t appear to ever have a straight vector.
I'd wager if he tears a jeep up every 3 years, I don't think there is anything that can go the places he does that would be "stronger" in the frame at anywhere near the price of replacing the jeep every 3 years. I bet the jeep lasts longer than 3 years also.
Going to need scotch blocks Lift then pull! Jeep should be paying you for showing the ability and strength of their product!
Gaaaaawd dang guy, that’s impressive work!
💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
after watching your videos for a couple months, i had no doubt that you could get it out
You guys are masters of leverage, multipliers, and physics.
Love what you do,always in ahh of what you with just a Jeep.
The impressive part is that your truck stays in place pulling that.
That guy looks like such a trucker 😆 lucky that trailer didn't sink right in
UNBELEVABLE, I watched this with my mouth open, you just got subbed cheers.
Truly stunning and amazing recovery, so basic law's of the pully systems, 😊😊😊😊😊😊.
He could recover a tank:)...
This one was awesome! I finally did a 3:1 on a recovery…. Its truly is amazing when you see it do work right before you.
I would never believe that Jeep could accomplish that !
Off-road Gangsta 👌🏼
That's impressive.
lol what was that “driver” thinking 😂
Looks like that winch is getting another work out.. Awesome video with great tools at work❤
Your a BeAsT!!! Making it look too easy.👍👍👍✌️
This would be cool to do did I show you this guy in florida
Finally a channel with some knowledge and experience, Well done!!
Matt I never had a doubt.
Nice work.
2 hours early? Bye bye 6 hours
Hey did you know that semis have diff locks woo weird I know
The diff lock was on, not all semis have full lockers
In fact almost all semis only have the one
this is how they built the great pyyamids. mystery solved.
I don't think Matt is that old! But I bet they'd ask for a bulk discount if he was around back then. 😂😂
Impressive 👍🏻
I think Archimedes said give me a place to stand and I could move the world.☺🇬🇧
Great job, really.
After many years I still cannot get the point of having 2 tractive axles without differential lock between axles and side by side. It's like giving the fate 4x the chance of blocking a truck. A single tractive axle with manually lockable differential plus a trailed bogey with deflatable cushions at very low speed would be way more effective
So they bring in a front end loader was it a track loader or a rubber tire loader either way they're twice the size of your truck or Jeep and you mean to tell me they got stuck and spun and couldn't move this truck but yet you bring in a Jeep and hook a winch to it and you pull him out Now there's a little something here I'm not believing
80,0000lbs plus the tractor? I'm thinking the tractor was helping quite a bit, ive pulled loaded pulp trucks with skidders, mind you usually uphill in the winter when they spin out. It's a huge pull!!
@@melsjunk2645I agree completely with you those big rubber tire loaders or big track loaders they can move a mountain You're not going to tell me a four-wheel drive Jeep with a tow strap is going to pull that truck out.
Why do these ppl disconnect their trailers ? Stop thinking steering wheel holders. Leave the thinking to the recovery guys.. NEVER EVER DISCONNECT TRACTOR !!°
Nice job
Your very confident of your ability and ability of your truck, surprised that the recovery went so smoothly !
If I were the loader operator, I would have back bladed my ruts before I left.
I've watched a ton of your videos but really thought there was no way this was coming out without sharing the pull with the other pickup. Great job!
Matt ,,, what success have you had since changing land anchor to Redridge GRP ??
Same power as pull pal, but more durable. We kept breaking the spade off pull pals and this one is way over built for us to break. They actually asked us to try and break it
@@matt.mckinzie ,,, thanks a bunch !!
I hope WARN knows the value of these videos
I would love to know the cost on some of these recoveries, that's a lot of time & even more skill that someone has to pay for.
Matt charges $100/hour
Awesome Recovery.... Make me wonder what you could do if you had a 5 ton military truck ..
Move mountains
@@matt.mckinzie Hey wait, I thought that's what a mustard seed was for..
this terrain is only for AWD vehicles , not for 6X4 . I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS !!!!
like the way you used the holes the loader made for traction
Use what we got available 😂
Nope not buying it, I don't believe that a front-end loader wouldn't pull it but a jeep would, nope this was staged,I have had far too many trucks stuck in my 40 plus years of driving to know better.
Dude you move more weight then anyone else on UA-cam…. If this was Utah it would take 5 trucks and a semi. You are one smart puppy.
The power of understanding the mechanical advantages of pulleys. That math class stuff does come in handy sometimes.
Hey man, your videos are awesome and thanks for sharing. Just had a curious question what size winch are you using? Thanks.
Amazing!!! WTF is that going to do!!!😂😂 ❤
Good stuff the operator should be fired, man, like your videos. I live in Cocoa, Florida
Running back and forth between vehicles may reduce the load on the winch, but it won't increase the total tow capacity
by front end loader they must of meant a bobcat LOL
No way a front end loader couldn't pull that, had to save themselves from embarasment
I'm just eating this channel up. David slaying Goliath.
"driver what the hell were you thinking???"
Shame on the mess!!!
Never disconnect your trailer when you get stuck! Rookie mistake.
You are capable to take out the biggest building in New York!😂😂😂😂
I'm not sure th8s video is real or edited because ive been in heavy towing for 20 years and the weight of jeep is way less than the resistance
All i can say is the loader driver wasnt any good i pull loaded trucks all over magnetic cove in greybull wyoming
What happened with your bronco? You still running it or change of plans?
Blocks and blocks and leverage, for the win. Again, for the 5799763257986543367965322567th time… lol
😂😂😂😂
Well done.. you know the job well sir..
Only thing that steering wheel holding is missing is his flip flops, already got his sweat pants on 🙄🙄🙄
Ive been on jobs where the ground sneaks up on you. In other words..You're good, you're good, you're good, you're NOT GOOD, grab a chain! 😂
Nice job getting it done, whatever it takes! 🤘
You get a thing called a SHOVEL and dig out from in front of the tires so they don't have a wall to try and push over to climb out. A RAMP works better.
Looks like that truck driver needs go back to school to learn how to drive
This should be shared on BoneHead Trucker ...
Scotch blocks FTW
It still blows me away that this Gladiator can tug these behemoths outta the mud like that. crazy......Have enough of a Fulcrum, you can move the world.
This guy is smart. That's the main reason he wins! Love watching his videos
I bet the loader operator didn't have any dirt in his bucket. 😮
Got stuck trying to haul out all the manure from the rhina china plant
