    I agree with you about multitasking. I have a job (tech support) where I have to multitask for 7 hours a day (using 2-5 different tools at the same time while speaking to customers) and it's exhausting. If you have the choice not to multitask, consider yourself blessed.

    Yo Gabe! I'm not trying to be a smart ass or anything, but I watched an interview with an expert in intermittent fasting, and she mentioned that black coffee actually will break your fast since it starts over the 12-hour enzyme clock in your body. As i understood it, one of the benefits of fasting is giving this "enzyme clock" time to reset which takes around 12 hours. In that period of time consuming anything that requires enzymes to break down (pretty much anything else than water) you clock will reset early and the process wont have recuperated fully since last cycle.
    I am not an expert or anything, just resaying what i heard. Maybe you could look into it for yourself and see if the coffee is worth giving up? :)
    Love you videos keep 'em coming.

    • @GabeBult

      I have followed quite a few in a minute fasting people and pretty much all of them recommend black coffee for your fast I would not be able to do it without it and for me it just works even if it's not the right thing it works for my body. but thank you for letting me know I will look into that

    Excellent video! I'm kinda jealous that you were able to learn all of these wise tips at such a young age. It took me a lot longer..
    One tip that is certainly wrong is the one about counting calories.
    Counting calories is basically pure stupidity.
    All creatures, including humans have a built-in calorie counting mechanism...it's called hunger.
    The goal is to eat an evolutionary and ancestrally appropriate diet like paleo, keto or a carnivore diet. If you eat like our ancestors did, which means real food that occurs in nature and we instinctively like to eat, there is no need for calorie counting.
    Do animals in nature count calories? Of course not! They are not fat or sick either.
    Just eat plenty of meat, some vegetables and forget about calorie counting. If you really think about it, trying to lose weight by counting calories is trying to solve a biologic problem with physics...it won't work.
    There is more to weight loss than just physics. There is metabolic problems that need to be solved to lose weight and keep it off...

    I agree with the politics. They are extremes of the same thing. I try to argue the middle. Both sides accuse me of being what they hate. Now I just walk away shaking my head. I'm doing little cleaning jobs that are making a big difference in my life. My dishes are done and I did some decluttering while I was in there. Little things really do accomplish a lot.

    #28 I've noticed this in films etc.... do Americans actually usually drink coffee with cream?? Lol in the UK it would always be milk which I guess is a lot less fattening!
    Also about reading at least one financial book... I was going to order Rich Dad Poor Dad, but after watching alot of Kyosaki's vids it seems he talks a lot about leveraging debt etc, which doesn't work in exactly the same way outside of the US. And Set For Life mentions on the cover that it's US-focused - any financial book recommendations you'd make which maybe aren't country specific? I get that a lot of the teachings are transferable but quite a few key points may not be :P When I watch most investing vids they move onto 401k's etc and then I know that's my queue to switch off lol

    • @GabeBult
      @GabeBult  5 років тому +1

      With milk and sugar normally I think for most Americans
      Well the ideas of making money work for you still stands true but. But most of the ones I have read are for the usa
      Set for life talks about spending less earning more then investing and even though that might be different there it still all holds up you would just have to use different methods . The 100$ start up is good too

    If you raise 5 children, you will be multi tasking. To not multi task is a guys way of thinking.

    • @barbarasee2057
      @barbarasee2057 4 роки тому

      Not multitasking allows you to focus and complete whatever you are working on more quickly and with better quality. All genders are capable of realizing it.

    • @sharonsalyer4912
      @sharonsalyer4912 4 роки тому +2

      So, may I ask, how many children do you have!. Say, you are feeding your 5 children breakfast. Do you think you'll just sit there and watch them? Instead if you're wise you'll be doing some laundry, possibly loading or unloading dishes, maybe cleaning a room or bathroom. Or while you're making supper do you think the children will just sit quietly and not need any interference? Mom! She's touching me ! Etc. You'll have to stop and run interference. Also while you're waiting for the food to cook you should be doing some small chores in the kitchen or possibly if the food can be left a few minutes, putting in another load of laundry while possibly making sure your older children are doing their homework or chores and running interference when needed or caring for the baby. Children are wonderful but very time consuming and a lot of work is involved in caring for them. You have to multi task if you hope to keep up on things.

Maybe borrow some fresh peas from the neighbors garden,, Forget it and Drink some Black Coffee w/Brandy in it ! Don't multitask,,,,don't eat,,,don't drink, don't watch tv, don't spend too much time on the internet, don't steal peas,,don't forget to make another donation box, You don't have to boil the Hummingbirds water,,just stir the sugar in and the birds don't care,,Read Robert Frost again and make a wild flower picture with the clover you're pressing between The White Tailed Hornet and A Leaf-Treader.
