    Very interesting video. I am currently being treated and examined for epilepsy. I have only experienced seizures while sleeping. I am very grateful for your research in the sleep connection with this disorder.

      I been dealing with epilepsy for thirty years. It is a very rough road but I would just like to say glad you're still pulling through and trying to enjoy each second of life. As hard as can be try not to stress and be around people who will help/love you. Hope everything turns out for the best for you.

      How often do you have an episode? Of all the seizures I've had 95% of them happen during my sleep, so I hope you see why I'd ask.

    High humidity and low atmospheric pressure is the reason why people get seizures! I found out because my previous seizure was during when the hurricane and I googled it and found out. And you are either in jolly old England or Pakistan with high humidity and low atmospheric pressure. Gotta move to Las Vegas, NV or Palm Springs, CA

      @@mood8340 surgery unfortunately isn't a cure! I had brain surgery for my epilepsy Dec 5th 2 years ago and i still have them regularly, 1-3 every week or 2 randomly, I'm still on over 10 epileptic meds... I had a right frontal lobe lobotomy.. thank you so much for your fine presentation. I've had epilepsy all of my life. Pretty much every type. I've also had two brain surgeries.Still on meds. but newer ones as symptoms have changed. The neurologist suggested doing deep depth electrodes. Could you explain why? thankj you so much.

    I go to bed at 10pm each night. I don't always fall asleep. When I do sleep I'm constantly waking up with saliva on my face.
    During the day I find it hard to focus, and remember my school lessons. Around lunch time it's hard for me to keep my eyes open. I'm so sleepy.
    Do you think it's ok for epileptics to take sleeping tablets at night?

    • @bcepilepsysociety6721
      @bcepilepsysociety6721  Рік тому

      Thank you for your comment! Before you take any additional medications like sleeping tablets, it is essential that you discuss that with your neurologist as they will be able to tell you how they will interact with your epilepsy treatments.
