Man, I can feel the anxiety of leaving your dinghy like that, but then if we can't, we'd never see anything. I like that fact that you're sharing what you're feeling "being free" to go anywhere (almost) and how you remind yourself that you're realizing a dream. I'm in Hawaii for 21 yrs now and pinched myself very often about how incredible it is here, but I'm flying out for good in a few days to do what you're doing, starting off in Guatemala. See you out there!

When I was an armchair sailor I tried to find sailing channels that showed life out there like it really is. I really couldn't find any. So I've gone out and tried to show it as it is. And in videos to come I show the real deal through thick and thin. I really appreciate you commenting. Thanks. Fair winds! see you in Guatemala!

Great to see that you’re wearing your PFD being solo. I wish you had installed Jack lines and clipped yourself in whenever going forward.
If you fall overboard, your boat is just gonna keep going and going and going and going and going

Ok, a couple of things. 1) was the pizza as good as they say? 2) you’re cooking up bacon quite often. Is it Canadian bacon or real bacon? 3) that fact you gave about your boat would sink over that geyser of air was astonishing! Makes total sense but still astonishing. Happy sailing and way to go not getting stuck in shallow water on this episode.

Buoyancy, yep. Our 52fter was ferrous cement, people ask me how can that float? I answer, how does steel float? Yep buoyancy, using the displaced water from your hull to allow water molecules to support it. ... 😂 BUT!, ....no buoyancy if those molecules are surrounded with air., them you go down, down, down, like a stone. Wow, yes get out of there. Like and sub guys🙏👍⛵

Wow so expansive marinas.. do you use Navily? Maby the app didnt exist when u made this vid. It really helps me finding anchorage 😊 i like your comp setup. Do you game? Great vid🎉

Peekskill: That was a white Danger Buoy. Not an anchorage. Stay safe. Using Navionics or similar?

Im using a Garmin chart plotter. Upon review yes it was a danger bouy. Lessons learned the hard way!! I'm paying a bit more attention to chart details now..

Chart detail and pre planning a daily sail is critical at all times
