I love the fact that you have just as much fun demonstrating your system as the people you are demonstrating to. I feel the same way when I show my system to people. Knowing the thought and effort that goes into a great system gives you an insight to the inner workings of an engineer/builder. Well done Steve, and keep up the videos to teach the next generation of car audiophiles the right way to do it.

for around $200 it's a really nice amp, I don't know about longevity, but running at 1 ohm I never notice it getting hot

I'm running 2 sundown SA12s d4 on a CAB 1600.1. I have 2 batteries. I ran 2 250 amp fuses between the batteries and it hit hard asf. I professional installer told me to put a fuse after each battery and now it's not hitting as hard. Does the CAB1600.1 have an internal fuse
I wonder how the reliability and longevity would be. Initial impressions are great

What's the sound quality and reliability like on these? I can't imagine it is very good given the price. It's amazing it does that much power though.

You should test it and see what it does at a half ohm!!! If it can keep itself together i might have to upgrade!

big d of old school stereo tested it on a music bass track and got peak of 4081. He also took it down to half ohm and got some bigger numbers. He has his video up also. Love the vids wanna see the toyota idgfa and see what it can really do with a better windshield
+Brandon Sutherland he didn't get 4081 before he took it to 1/2 ohm. It aint that good. I also got around 4,000ish watts at 1/2 ohm on dynamic rms mode but no way it would do that at rated impedance (1ohm)

why dont you do an amp test on dual audio d series amps ... i had one and it worked well but i never knew what it really put out. i had the DA-4001 but im thinking to purchase the upper models if they make the power they advertise for the money
From what I understand its a pretty popular amp and a lot of people pair this with a sundown zv4 15 -18 and they hit high 140s to low 150s and they claim the amp lasts for a few years, can't beat the price of $200 to get that much power lol, great video Steve
Chris Cape Bought my CAB based on those 2 videos of the dyno power results vs. it's price point. And it DEFINITELY puts the power out.
I'm not running anything special or quality ( 2 Kicker Comp DVC 12") but I've gotta keep the head unit amp level down AND the amp's base level down pretty low in the interest of saving both my eardrums & my speakers.

Is it a better deal than a hifonics amp. If so what is the best budget amp around 3200 watts. I have 2 Solobarics L7 12" i had them on a HF zeus 3200 watt and it was verry relyible. Looking for a replacement. Mine stoped working after the amp wire touched the back of the cd player. Just wouldnt turn back on. It dosent have a fuse so not sure what it is. Unless if youre battery is week youre amp want cut on even tho the cd player will. Is this possible. Thanks
Would this amp be good to power a pair of 12" Ct Sounds Stratos?
How will 2 of these amps do into a low impedance load strapped? It drives a .67 ohm load effortlessly with no overheating in my vehicle I've had to add a second battery and 200A alternator but it would be fun to see what a pair of these will do slaved into a 1 ohm, .8 ohm, .67 ohm and possibly .5 ohm load.... for 400 bucks total would this be a cost effective solution to achieve high power? How many amps will it pull at each load? I know that the manufacturer does not recommend this but many people already use this setup and for those considering upgrading to 2 will love to see numbers on output and current draw, it seems to me that for 400 bucks this test will not even cost that much as i am sure that once the video is posted that you should have no problem selling them at cost and making good profit on peripherals and install.
whenever a manufacturer ask a test to be done, they make sure that the amp exceed or over exceed the rated number. It is called in the car in the industry "sending a ringer"

hi.. i have an CADENCE Z 777 AMPLIFIER it has 2 power inputs.one for ordinary power and one for a powercap..for now im using the 1 ordinary power input.i was wondering if there is anyone that have used this amp..it draws a lot off juice from my battery.luckylu i have agm batt,i wonder do i have to use a cap for the 2nd input for more power
