Hi, still new to Weiss Scharwz and I am playing JP version. I have questions to ask : 1)Any comments about JP version dropping C5 on how it affect the structure based on your deck list? Since gura and amelia cannot play together 2)Gawr Gura CX skill can be damage cancel , but how does it count ? 2 1 1? 2 damage resolve then only 1 and 1 ? Anyhow , thanks for the video , I learn a lot
Jp ban lists rarely unban a combo if it's too strong. Which this is. So unfortunately you won't be seeing these removed for a long while. As for the damage, it can be cancelled as long as opponent hits a climax during damage check. You'd the the burn 2 first, then a single burn twice. If a cx is revealed during any of the damage checks, that damage is cancelled for that particular damage.
Also, why use the Lui backup, when Suisei can put more work in by bottom decking the character? It also being blue can be a good fix for colour later on.
So the preference with standby over kanata is being able to bring in Gura/Amelia 2/1 free/early, reducing the stock overhead cost of the triple combo. Kanata prefers an extra turn to set up, which when OVL drops next month may not be as conducive to getting that second turn. The Lui back up vs the Suisei requires less hand which seemed to be more of a luxury at that point in the game for this build. You definitely could run the Suisei if you prefer. - Brandon

Would you say this list is optimised for the BCS meta?
It’s a list that I am seriously considering bringing to BCS. - Brandon
What's the preference of using the Standby combo instead of the Kanata Gura combo?
