I agree that Slime would much rather have lost the shuna over the bonder. Deck is pretty meh without it, especially with all the new stuff coming out the next few months.

Do you think nikke will really be that bad still? Results from JP have been pretty middling as far as I am aware. Bunny Girl will be a terror for sure though, and I'm annoyed with every successive Disney release taking up EN release slots.

For all that those games had some crazy bad luck, one thing that stood out to me that I hadn't really thought about before was how awkward refreshing is for standby/bar Nikke in particular, since you need the 2/1 in waiting room. So if you're in a bad deck state, or if you have the vanilla package but the card you want isn't in deck, it's not necessarily enough to just refresh. I guess if you have both cards of the vanilla package and you don't need to search anything else, you can use it as a foolish burial, but that's basically adding 2 cards to the selection requirement, on top of anything you need to use to mill to refresh. Unless you know there's one in stock, that you can pay out after refresh, or something

As a TCG player of decades, who currently plays basically every TCG on the market, The meta of this game is horrible and the game needs more casual play. I bought the entire collection of the anime I like; Spy Family, Attack on Titan, Jojo, and this game basically ignores every set except for the top 3 broken. You cant even splash cards sets like other TCGs.

Love the Millim door combo. I also play the same combo in Kenshin.

To the 'there must always be a BDIF' point. If you take out slime, the remaining 4 wins have been by 4 different decks. Would SDS be the strongest if only slime got hit? Probably, but the top cuts this season have already shown that SDS is far more beatable than slime.

the ATLA player killed me in round of 16. He certainly knew his deck well, and did a good job setting up the first aang to guarantee 4 colors.

The spyxfam player had almost no experience on that build and is mostly a jp player and just wanted to play something fun.

The one good thing about Rose is that it should quarantine the horny sets off to the side, so main Weiss can focus on less porny things. It should be easy enough for a store to say "we dont allow Rose" So hopefully with Rose there will be less Nikke and AYT sets in main weiss for the future

I appreciate your take on Rose. Weiss has been creeping toward a really gross direction for awhile, and this doesn't help any. I've been playing a lot more Union Arena. It's super fun and I love the IPs they have, and there isn't any art that I'd be embarrassed by. The dudes drooling over Rose are the ones I know to steer clear from.

I agree with your take on Rose. Weiss is already hard enough to find IP's that your traditional TCG gamer might even recognize. Even worse trying to describe how the game works and getting the 'Climax' keyword side-eyes/smirks.

Whats the reason to essentially "give up" on level 0 and forego any kind of on field advantage you can potentially have when the set provies multiple oversizes and 3k attackers? (I guess this is a more general question as well, not only to this specific list :) )

Thoughts on the book support like the brainstorm or the 1/0? Since you already run the events it feels like this deck could have been door/pants instead and be better that way.

Do you think this qualifies as SDS underperforming? Going into the fall people had it ranked in the same tier as TSK, but it seems to be struggling to break into the top 4 at any of the initial events

I am still a believer in Gura. Never had issues to play both Gura after the ban list. For Austria I decided to play SDS. The only reason why I did play SDS was I did not accomplish to kill SDS once with that deck. If your oppenent is early lvl 2 while you are on lvl 3 and he has good compression, Gura will not close out the game.

For my country that mainly play jp no one play frieren RR at all. That should work let prove it. Event restriction could make burden when deck just refresh when get lv3 make me have to spent extra resource to mill it. That become meme on table hey you level 3 and still have to mill to get requirement on waiting room? For trade off we have extra option Mill 12 card of opponent deck ok there should have some nope no cx there at all it just on opponent hand which help him instead. peek 2 card which if I deal 3 damage I put that cx away anyway and most other card from other series just have better effect than this. Deal 3 damage is fine but discard 6 card is way too heavy we just throw all 10 card and hope we could finish opponont... and then bushiroad make card like 一緒に追いかける夢 アニスフィア＆ユフィリア that have exact same effect for 6 stock cost that make wound much worse. For td since it draw 3 make cost reduce to 3 card so we have hand left to do other stuff. Concentrate lv 0 could reduce cost to 0 or 1 to concentrate then sacrifice so cost should arount 3 card and 3 stock. With lot of draw it could gather missing or extra stuff so it usually end up with extra soul dark once or twice. and if any 3 damage is landed 4 is exactly what need to win the game. so yeah I already prove it why no one play. It should correct soon since on jp site they dig detail on all collab character card as playable with all series character on those card are like sharo and nemu could use both on milky holmes and DC dacapo, Yuri ard saya could use both on little buster and angel beat etc. So it seem like complete ignore series code on card and could use all card where it should legit.

The Official Weiss Schwarz website is very full of incorrect info. My local store in Prince George, BC Canada keeps being removed or forgotten from the store list (dispute the store in in good standing and has never had the official store status ever removed) and they believe Strictly Broken TCG is still in the Vancouver lower mainland...... They moved to Texas years ago.
