pi-lit® Sequential Safety Flares: Arizona Police Freeway Incident Management

pi-lit® Sequential Safety Flares provide a visual warning and guidance that are not provided by standard fusee flares or other LED flares. As the Captain states in this video, drivers approaching the incident were confused and did not know how to navigate through the chaotic scene ahead. Once the sequential safety flares were deployed, drivers were able to easily identified the desired path to safety. The flares are good, but they're overshadowed by the first responders' vehicle lights being far more active than the flares. I wonder how these would look in conjunction with the new sync-flash some departments like Chicago have been rolling out with; this would make the pulsing of the flares the most active lights on scene, making it easier to track them and not get dazzled by all the background vehicles.
