One Arrested After Major Crash | SANTA ANA, CA 9.20.21

- SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA - Just before 8:30 pm a traffic collision was reported at the intersection of Lyon St & Edinger Ave in Santa Ana. Arriving units found there to be multiple patients involved including two young children, all of which were transported to a local trauma center for their injuries. A male who was detained at the scene was also hospitalized but transported in handcuffs. Police will had the intersection of Lyon St & Edinger Ave closed until their major accident investigation team can investigate.

It is true, everyone knows that they only spend 24 hours in jail, they take bail and they take them out of there, they would give them 3 months of mandatory jail and increase the collection of bail for dui and if there are injuries, 1 year without bail
I feel so bad for the kids involved just because some idiot thought it was cool to speed in the streets of santa ana. santa ana is not getting any better.

When you do your research you realize most to all crashes involve speeding period.
They also involve things like DUI, DWI, heart attack, mental illness, etc. Speed is only one factor, not the reason for the accident.

I was in my little office when I heard tired skid the pavement for a couple of seconds before I heard a loud impact. If he wouldn’t of slammed on the brakes , there would of been casualties in this crash

You know this, how?. So far, the investigation has found that this collision happened for 'unknown reasons'. That means that DUI hasn't been ruled in or out as a contributing factor.
