Looks brand new. I don't care what you say, you're definitely a detailer in addition to all your other titles.
lol thank you😁👏
Dropping this monster of a detail after 3 months gone is a badass move
Oh yeah I’m not messing around lol
Love seeing one get taken care Of , i Used to be The Little kiddo that watched them sweep huge parking lots when The plaza was fairly empty ! Love it
I really enjoyed sweeping my parking lot😁
“I don’t think I like our interior cleaner as much as I like this stuff”….That’s why I keep buying your stuff! You’re clearly an honest guy and a class act 👍 Also the best detailing videos out there, by far.
It’s been awhile…good to see a new video 👊
Thank you I’m glad to be back😁👏
A new Chem-X video? Hell yeah!🤘
Every time I come across ur videos, i get the motivation to just order everything off ur website and start detailing cars but then I have no idea what I’m doing nor what I truly need but one day, ima get all the details and info about it and go forth with my plan. But rn, I’m happy with watching and learning bits about everything
Glad to have ya here thank you!
Bob, crazy video, man! I had NO IDEA you had that much INVENTORY😮. 200K in just parts?.. dang! I think I'm going to drive out there for the HOOK UP! You set this guy up NICE! I also Love that you used what detailers recommend to you as "INDUSTRY STANDARD" products. Basically the COMPETITION! Truth be told, like 45% of companies use one blender, the other 45% use the other... so you get maybe 10% or Less out there that are doing Unique stuff... probably much less than that actually... I Love what Chem-❌️ brings to the table brother! Keep the videos coming man, it's been too Long! Be good!
Thanks Doug! Your insights are always awesome lol keep up the good work 👏😁
I love chem x products. Heavy duty is now the only degreaser I use. I’ve never used any degreaser that is so so so versatile. Snake oil is stupid good. Stars and Stripes are great if you want a good touchless wash. Keep up the great work and thanks for being so humble in your videos.
Also the ik sprayers while expensive are totally worth it.
That’s pretty cool thank you😁👏
Dude that sweeper looks sweet, great job!
Thanks!
Comet mixed with bleach white is your only defense on the floor mats if that doesn't work they're toast. As for the DI rinse just a water hose at tap pressure with a fine mist nozzle works best.
Solid tips thank you!
Black magic bleache-white probably would help on the floor mats!
I’ll give it a shot thank you!
So satisfying! I think I was more in awe than Gary was lol. I know everyone is different tho. I'm a detailer myself so I totally appreciate the before and after. Awesome job bro!
Great video. I liked the varied approaches to the different challenges. The asphalt can be time consuming and tricky.
Thanks I think the varied approaches come organically from me not knowing what I’m doing lol
Gary = Tom Segura. THIS long style video was a win within its own.
Awesome video as usual. Sweeper came out great. Love it!
Thanks!
holy shit, can't wait to watch this 🔥
I work at a dealership- we have one of those og tornadors and my biggest gripe is that those blue bits tend to fly off and make the air tube bind after heavy use for a while. We've had to replace the cone/tube several times in the past year and this most recent time the cone has seized to the gun🫠 Our chemical guy is ordering us one of the new tornadors but the rag company one looks legit🤌🏻
Clean as hell!!!
Professional washing equipment 💪
Xbroom for the win 💪
Your joy is our joy Bob.
Everything you have said about your line of interior cleaners I can agree with, It’s great don’t get me wrong but if rain hits the panels it does leave a streak and if it gets on glass it gets a little messy, I do however think it cleans extremely well and does foam up for a product that cleans and protects. Great to see you want to keep improving products!!
Exactly yeah I’m always looking for anything that could be better, I think those factors are number one on the list
Truck looks good Bob and Kona👀👌
As someone who drives a sweeper, its very relaxing and sometimes annoying but it pays the bills lol
Got recommended your channel last night and watched a few then and this one so far today. Those wipes on the asphalt grime? Sold. Buying some!
Looks good !! He must be the owner , looks too nice ! I ran a TYMCO 600 for a few years & kept it spotless too , drove coworkers crazy but didn’t let it bother me “ I looked good “ !! 👍
Awesome movie man!!
That was fun 🤘🏻👌
Thanks bud glad to be back at it been way too long
woah that wheel well is pristine
I was very happy with the wheel wells lol
I like the fact you showed us how products that claim touch less are not.
The alarm that keeps sounding when you start the truck is the low air pressure warning for the air break system. It turns off after the compressor builds to the minimum pressure.
Ok cool I thought we were breaking the thing
Can't wait to get that polish
Great job!!!!!!
Looks really good
Great video
I used to drive an Elgin sweeper. Used to sweep nothing but mud. I had to clean it every day. Now I drive a Volvo Semi-dump with a nice East trailer. I bring in my own pressure washer to clean it about once a month. Used the Stars and Stripes and the Mshine.
Love it! 😎🤘🏻🔨
I use Stars/Strips/Snake Oil on my Benz and follow with a towel dry and touch up with Awesome Sauce. It's a great system and the no touch wash keeps the paint looking amazing! My favorite interior cleaner going on 20 years now is Griot's Interior Cleaner. I doubt it would stand up to the power of Chem-X when it comes to truck interiors, but I do use it to clean my tools and it's safe for leather and plastic.
Thank you! I’ll have to try that one
WELCOME BACK!
Thanks!
This was dope id love to take a spin in one of these
Awesome video and nice work. Would love to see you clean a garbage truck with your chemicals. I recently got a new one at work and sprayed it down with snake oil. It held up well its been 4 months and it could use another coating.
That’s cool to hear yeah I’d love to bring one in I’ll keep an eye out. I schedule vehicles at studio@chem-x.com if anybody has anything
i ran the broom bears for years love those trucks right side is the place to be
It,s nice to see the Canadian flag, also I used to use the same tire plugs when I was repairing tires at a gas station, once the plug is in you don,t need to worry bout it leaking again. The truck looks brand new.
Good job man
Love the long videos Bob! If you put some D-Lime on a microfiber towel and scrub the tires, it will get rid of the brown film and leave them looking clean and fresh.
Thanks glad ya like it. That’s a great tip on dlime on a rag for the tires I’m def going to try that
I’d definitely be interested in trying the polish on my concrete mixer chrome/ alluminum!
I like kind of a satin finish to an interior cleaner. I like a little shine but i don't care for it to look freshly sprayed with liquid and definitely not greasy. I got a truck professionally detailed one time and they used sooo much armor all i couldn't hold onto the steering wheel. I had to wipe down the entire interior again to get all the slime off. Fortunately they don't do that anymore either. The cleaning power of your interior cleaner is great. I got some dirt build up off that other cleaners hadn't. But yea on shiny surfaces like chrome plastic and screens it does leave a residue. My simple solution is to just go back with a dry rag and buff it off those spots.
Thank you yeah I’ve dealt with my interior cleaner the same exact way, I’m always looking to see what we can do better tho def trying to see what we can do
Looks good
I will take some if you want me to test it for you 👌👌 you are some kid to clean looks savage John from Ireland 🇮🇪 hear 👍🏻👍🏻❤️
Clean matte finish on interiors is my favorite I don’t like a shiny residue. Awesome video!
Thank you yeah that matte finish has to happen I agree
1:36:43 maybe consider simply putting on a large garbage bag to cover the wheel so that you can work on it wet.
Btw those wheel wells were legit very very good! ❤🎉
Welcome back! Lol
I have the Vyper tall chair and it is awesome for sitting at my high top workbench...I used to go thru a $100 cheap tall chair every year or so but this Vyper is built like a tank and I feel like it will last way longer than any other tall chair I have tried!
I'm glad to hear you like it, I just received mine in gotta put it together still.
@@ChemX Also gotta say that I have placed numerous detailing chemical orders over the last few months from various companies and the package I received from your company was by far the most well packed, very snug with lots of packing materials... literally the only one I received with no leaks!
I know I'm late to the party, but as a detailer, I use a citrus based cleaner that I mix in different ratios depending on the dirt level and I hate high gloss finish on interior cleaners, especially from something that's just supposed to be cleaning. I'm a matte guy 100% but I do use a product (for UV protection after cleaning) that can be both gloss or matte finish if either is the preference in whatever situation.
About time brother!! Out your snake oil on with the good water brother. Problem solved. Classy as always !
Glad to be back man. That’s a good idea on the water I’ll have to try that thank you
To clean the white in the floor mats, use the sole reviver cream for shoes and UV light.
Let's gooo!! 💪💪
Id recommend bleche-wite for cleaning up the white portions of those rubber mats. Basically treat it like white walls on a tire.
for v those rubber mat logos I use wheel brightener acid 3 to 1 distilled white vinegar works too with steamer n a magic eraser. but follow it up with any other cleaner to replace the vinegar smell
I'll have some products arriving in Aus soon. 👍
If you're chasing a maintenance style interior cleaner, that leaves a matte finish (clean look). Give Shine Supply Cruise. It also smells amazing
I have heard great things about Cruise I'll have to try it thank you!
I really want to test your chrome cleaner?? When it comes time for testers... I Really love your products
Sweet yeah reach out at orders@chem-x.com I need some feedback especially the constructive kind😁👏
All the way to australia where the sun hurts more the a broken heart 😂😂
Lol
Matte finish interior for sure. No glare in sun and I think it keeps cleaner looking longer. And has to have a level of uv protection to keep plastics from fade over decades of exposure.
Yeah agree 100%
Straight finish, no protectant feeling. Can always tell when the dealership has cleaned my car cause I slip in my seat.
I prefer a matte finish on the interior but don’t mind a little bit of a shine as long as it’s not sticky. Also I have your green tea cleaner now and like that the smell is not overwhelming but is still noticeable after a couple of days of use.
I agree I would like my next one to be matte finish too
11:30 the ultimate "motor boat"
For the floor matts you could try like the Sneaker Sole Restorer that Cleans Yellow Soles
Extra Tough. Wheel and Tire cleaner for that rubber floor Matt👍. The product is biodegradable 👍
Ok cool thank you!
@@ChemX Yep you won’t be disappointed 👌. Love your channel Bob and Kona
I use zep big orange to remove asphault. I do commercial asphault roofing and it gets on everything. The big orange is quite exspensive as well, but it melts the asphault right off. Highly recommended based on my use.
Cool I’ll have to try it out, maybe there’s a way to formulate where I can make my own a bit more cost effective
Love to see u doing a bin lorry (garbage truck)
I have some snake oil on the way, can’t wait to try it out!! It may or may not be a birthday present I bought for myself!😅 love the videos and sweet Kona!! God bless you and your company!
Thank you and happy birthday!
Look into Jax wax line of products. love there stuff but recently made the swap to your line of soaps and man between Jax wax and CHEM-X products it turns heads when detailing vehicles. 🤘🏻
Damn that’s awesome to hear thank you. I actually met Jared at sema a few years ago, he gave me some really great advice on bottling lines and was a super cool guy, I have a pretty high impression of Jax wax
Kona's commentary is great.
Awesome hook up of products
Not sure if one of the industry standards cleaner was Griots Garage Interior cleaner. Griots is a clear liquid with no odor or added scent.
Maybe Meguiars M39, if you can find it as M39 was discontinued.
Thank you yeah griots is in my lineup for sure, I don’t think it got used on this detail tho
Metasilicate in heavy duty does amazingly well. Addition of butyl EB 5-10% would do well for removing oxidation off the powder coating i would think. It works well for removing oxidation off painted metal buildings.
That’s a very solid tip thank you 😁👏
Koda just gets in the UPS truck like it’s hers now lol
Try Spraynine to get the white back in floor mats.
I will thank you!
Great video, I’d also like to know how to get those yellow stains out of the truck floor mats. I detail semi trucks as well and using heavy degreaser with a drill brush and other soaps rarely work. Even using hot water pressure water doesn’t work lol.
Thank you yeah I heard this stuff may work, can’t beat the price: amzn.to/49YlGnI
When using the DI water, try rinsing for a little longer, rather than just a quick mist. Try rinsing most of the hard water that’s on the surface already, off with the di water. Not too much where you’re wasting the resin, but just top to bottom getting that hard water layer off with the DI water. Maybe it’ll help!
Thank you I’ll try that!
How about you try detailing a fire engine? They would certainly appreciate it and it would make it shine like new… thanks
I use Purple Power full strength and a bit of Clorox clean . On mats and I have great results. Good luck
Thank you I’ll have to mix the Clorox into purple power I haven’t tried that
Floor mats I use Super Clean 5:1 with a drill brush and it works great
I’ve tried that actually but I’ll give it another go if you have had success with it and see if maybe it was the situation that was too tough
@@ChemX yeah, Super Clean is good but it doesn't mean it will get everything back 100%. And those mats were pretty bad
The Works, toilet bowl cleaner should bring that white back on them mats.
i need that salt neutralizer for here in CT asap
Foam,Matfinish, fresh smell
Unfair fight on the air gun comparison. The cleaning output of the whipping plastic hose vs. metal floating ball bearing is always going to be day/night because of it. Know that the comparable Tornador Black or Max models with metal shaft end are available but way more expensive than their entry level...try $225+. Making the Rag Company purchase a serious no brainer! Lol
Ohh wow I didn’t know tornador made a metal version, I’m def going to buy one and try them out side by side and see how they do then
Wait a minute I have the max lol, didn’t think they made one without the liquid tank tho is that what the black model is?
@@ChemX Your right! I thought they had a tankless megal tube with ball bearing model. Now looking over their site I don't see they offer a metal version without the lower tank attachment option. Atleast you can compare the Rag Company vs. Tornador side by side on those tank models. I ordered a knock off version of Tornador for $30 with removable tank, metal ball bearing tip, and a metal ball suction hose so it can be used while upside down from AliGhina direct about 2 years ago. Run it unregulated directly from our air compressor. Secret is keep it clean and oiled up. It sounds like a damn air ratchet for Nascar wheel removal at full tilt. Lol
Awesome vid after a 3 month hiatus! After watching this I needed a cigarette!😂😂
Hahaha thanks!
I use tire bleache on the white lettering on floor mats with good results. Your guess is as good as mine for colored sections of the rubber.
Who at your company would I have to contact and what type of feed back would you be looking for for your polish product? I'm a firefighter in upstate NY and stars and stripes does quite a job for us but we have coated aluminum cabinet doors, Alcoa wheels, high polish pump panels and lots of diamond plate
Thank you! You can reach out to my team at orders@chem-x.com I'd love to get your thoughts on the polish esp on a firetruck what would be cool
Great video ! Love the longer format . Question , what color are your walls ? I’ve tried a couple blacks and the shine / color just doesn’t feel right
Also for tar remover I’ve had great success with gyeon tar remover. I can send you a couple pictures of a lotus I did that drove through fresh tar. Sat for about 2 weeks before they brought it too me , works very well
And for the discolored floor mats I use 0000 steel wool or the white scotch brite pads (tint shops use those for glass) and then a degreaser
Another tip for cleaning glass is clean each side a different direction so if there’s streaks you know what side they’re on. I always do outside glass up and down and then inside left to right just to keep it consistent
Damn these are great tips thank you! I painted my walls and ceiling the same just plain gloss black, the vinyl panels are just gloss white
What was the Interior Cleaner You used 1st? When You were cleaning above the steering Wheel @ 13:07 ?
hey can you apply snake oil to a dry foam surface for even better longer lasting protection? or it hadls to be applied and washed off?
Applying it to a clean dry surface might give it a slightly better grip but I have not been able to perceive a difference myself
Best best
New look
What are you using to clean the engine bay? and can all engine bays be detailed like this?
I was using my heavy duty degreaser I think cut about 50/50, I detail all engines the same and have never had an issue, but I’m sure there are potential hazards if you hit certain areas too hard
I detail aircraft mostly and have polished aluminum spinners I’m looking for an easy to use polish. I can help test your polish in some harsh conditions. Spinning at 2000 rpm in rain clouds even icing conditions.
Now we’re talkin reach out to orders@chem-x.com I’d love feedback from your industry😁👏
Shiny interior is alright as long as it's not the greasy sheen. The voice overs for Kona are a great touch to the video.
I appreciate the input on the cleaner, I’m looking for all the feedback I can get😁
@@ChemX green tea rocks, I love it!!
You could use bottles that aren't transparent to hide the colour inside.
That’s a really good idea actually🤔
meguiar's supreme shine for me!
I'm having problems with water spot in my paint, which one of your products would you recommend?
The main thing that seems to help is drying after a wash, but my awesome sauce has always been my go to afterwards on spots and has always been good to me
if the shine from interior cleaner detailer is dries and doesn't attract dust and isn't greasy, fine but I and most of my customers like the satin matte look on surfaces. new clean and non reflective. the problem with the shiny stuff is that it distracts you at certain angles and it also highlights any damage or scratch or smudges so matte or satin is the way to go for the new fresh clean look over anything else. as for foaminess not too foamy is best because it dissent dry up white in the cracks and vents making more work going back to clean it whereas if it's not foamy you don't have to worry because it will dry evenly not leaving dried foam
That’s interesting yeah I was wondering if there were some perks to not having a lot of foam that does make sense
All the new Alcoa rims come with a coating on them however that coding wears down
Even the blue sticker ones or just the black sticker durabrites?
