most highways max at 70-80 miles per hour
you go more than that then it's on you once you get stopped

We've always been mph. I think Europe do kph.
The UK uses mph. The Republic of Ireland uses kph officially but mph unofficially (some manufacturers have kph speedometers as an option for sine reason)

nah that's how UK officers operate. if you break the speed limit, run through a red light with a car that isn't insured
then getting your car towed and getting arrested isn't uncommon in any country with proper police enforcement
