    I’m seriously thinking about doing this exact thing to a ‘78 glastron v210, although I’m leaning more towards a mercruiser. Really depends on the donor boat!!!

      It's a lot of work I'll tell you that. However, with enough time, patience, and determination its possible! I went with a Volvo drivetrain as I much prefer the simplicity of the transom assembly (bellows, shift, ETC.) Also, the clutch cones grab gears soooo much smoother than a Merc. I toyed with both, you can't go wrong with either! More boatbuilding to come!
