I've had some cool chats with Max - he's a really cool guy, and very different. You know right away that you're talking with a genius. Those were only text chats, but Max also likes to speak in a very convincing British accent; he made a Q&A video where I could have sworn he was a Brit, if I didn't hear him speak in Russian in the video! An interesting fact Max told me was that he didn't start playing guitar as a little child as I assumed - he said he pretty much started at 11....it was hard to believe!!🤯🤯

That Max Ostroumov was 15 in that vid. Reminds me of a young EVH: good theory knowledge, super fast and fluid runs, tapping, the EVH hair, inventing his own style (tho it borrows from EVH & Satch), flawless and creative harmonics, and breaking the "rules" of how to play. Oh yeah. And, he rocks.

Antonio Rey makes the guitar both growl in passion just for a second and sing softly the other instant. At no time there is any plastic-like nylon sound. Every "aggressive" outburst is so clean and reminds me of a wooden percussive instrument. At the same time the treble is so warm an sweet. Truely mesmerizing, as you say, wow.

Max is the best guitar player on UA-cam. He could be easily in the top 10 of professional top

I highgly recomend a guy called Yamandu Costa. He is a master in acoustic guitar. Paco de Lucia, at the end of his life, went to Yamandu’s show and applauded him with the crowd.

    Stephanie Jones!!!
It's surreal seeing one of my favorite guitarists react to another one of my favorite guitarists.
Would love to see a reaction to Allan Holdsworth.

Stephanie Jones’ fingers are so small but it just doesn’t matter. She’s great.
