Amazing how clear and simple and well-photographed this is. I know nothing about DIY but have used videos before to do something basic like changed the washer belt. I love my old top loader because it does things that modern washing machines can't do such as dye fabric and as much gentler on delicate Fabrics. My Maytag performa was new in 2002 and except for a couple of belt changes is still going strong 21 years later! It is now feeling to overflowing and if all it needs is a new pressure switch or the tube is clogged that will be amazing but typical of my machine. When I hear that an appliance normally last 8 to 12 years I am doubly amazed and feel an almost proprietary pride in my old machine. So I'll be buying a multimeter!
Perfect video! My Normally Open side is failing. Only thing I would change is "If you have a Continuity meter that beeps, this test is even easier if you used that setting."

If the pressure switch is faulty: 1. Can the drain motor continue to run several times even after the tub is fully drained? 2. Can a faulty pressure switch prevent the spin cycle from starting?
Having the same issues with a newer whirlpool top load washer. Replaced pump per other videos and gone through several calibrations and rests, still no fix.
My washing machine front loading canot drain water,i check drain motor still work ,are this error from water presure sensor or theres other malfunction ,please answer
Great video , Is it true that when blowing in and out on certain types there can be more than two clicks depending the wash machine fills at different levels depending on the cycle, Is it also true blowing into certain types they can be destroyed if blowing into them, The type called linear /transducer,something like that, not to sure, the type that have a resister and 3 capacitors with an inductor plus a chip, look similar to the first one you show in the video, but usually the casing where all the writing is looks stepped up and down , (Can this type still be tested in the same way) if careful blowing in but as they are impossible to get the probes in usually get a original connector leave wires out and probe the wires ,
