It's like the new Zildjian I family series, now has the same hammering as the old Paiste Alpha. They have a Sabian B8 Rock Crash Cymbal - 19" and 20", but hard to find any videos on them.
B8s are the best cymbals for the budget minded player, hands down! I’ve relied on them for years, you crack a cymbal, need to play a gig, you run and grab a B8 and still have money for drinks!
I have a set of the B8's 16 18 20'' + hh bought them for $30 Au. Was a bargain. They sound pretty good , people bag them but if you play them right they don't disappoint .
I like the sound of the, Sabian, B8, Thin, Crash-Cymbal, Better! :) Don't get me wrong. Paiste makes Very-Good Cymbals! But, lt's just that, To me, This Paiste sounded, A bit, Trashy and Dry. :T The Sabian-Cymbal has a, Very, Nice-Ring to it! :) ...Especially, When it is struck, With the Drumstick, To Crash! :)
Imposible comparar paiste con la otra marca... paiste es mucho más duradero y no pierde la musicalidad,la otra marca:se rompe y si tocas un poquito más fuerte, pierde el volumen y se dispara la frecuencia.
Tal vez has tenido mala suerte, los b8 duran mucho, además por que razón perderían musicalidad?? Para que un metal pierda sus propiedades debería estar sometido a un factor físico importante.. En cuanto al video, a mi me gusta más el sonido de paiste.
