Guy seems like a professional victim.
He's also a professional douchebag
Yep! Definitely!
Exactly! He's a common narcissist.
He is veteran con
I would bet so as well. He probably pulled a slip in fall scheme in front of a recruiting office one day.
Service dogs do not lunge or bite people. I hate people who abuse the service animal industry.
BUT WHO'S TO SAY IT HAPPENED JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE SAYS IT & MAKES A CALL DOESN'T MAKE IT TRUE EITHER. HE WASN'T CITED / ORDERED TO COURT
a service dog can of course bite someone, an animal is an animal, if a unstable person like this guy that doesnt maintain the training of a true service dog or if a person hurts the dog, of course the dog can bite... that being said, this dog probably isnt a real true service dog... and this guy probably shouldnt even own any kind of animal, let alone a huge rottweiler...
it's definitely a rule that is being abused
I have a legitimate service dog which is a white husky and no she doesn’t lunge at people and she minds her business and works. Its people constantly walking up to her with her vest on that says DO NOT TOUCH, TALK, & NO EYE CONTACT and reaching for her to pet her. She will reach back and give you a warning. A service dog is still a dog. Once it’s trained it’s trained to do those things and doesn’t need people coming up to it to distract it… distracting it can bring out the ACTUAL DOG.
@Oxygengirltravels why can't u make eye contact? Then seems pretty radical for a service dog .
Dudes a jerk and service dogs don't jump on people
Bingo! True service dogs are trained to not react to other people or stimuli. They are there to protect and serve their master, period. This was not a real service dog, maybe an emotional support animal by name, at most. Plaintiff is definitely a jerk and used to talking down to women.
Does he think he’s going to win with that attitude 😂😂😂😂
The nerve!
😂
The plaintiff is so rude - especially to the judge. Wow.
She was being rude to him and he reacted. Finally a litigant who put her in her place.
@@jennross6466what did she do, lol? He didn't like her questions. He challenged her repeatedly. Not smart.
@@jennross6466Try that in real court! 😂 Sometimes you get a judge with an actual bad attitude. You had better not react like that unless you're okay with the consequences. 😂

Plaintiff is a tool. I don't care if you're a vet, there's no need to be a jerk.
Yes but what kind of tool is the question. Bottle opener? Can opener? English wrench or wtff?!!!!? I really hate alot of American slang, sorry.
I doubt he served and if he did, he’s probably like the janitor or some crap like that. Usually, those are the kind of people that brags about how they’re Vet so that they get rec recognition or pity or whatever they’re looking for.
@@davidperez5089 I'm Canadian. Get over it.
@@kotorisama3080 I know someone like that. He had an office job in the military. I don't think he ever left the US....and he's constantly on Facebook reminding everyone that he's a veteran.
I also knew someone else many years ago who was a medic in the Vietnam War. He refused to talk about the war or his service at all. The only person who he would talk to about it was his partner, who told me that he was in the thick of the worst of it, trying to save the lives of people with missing limbs and such, and he hadn't been able to sleep through a single night since.
He never told people he met or worked with that he was a veteran, and if you asked him he got really uncomfortable and changed the subject.
He didn't want recognition, praise, or questions. He just wanted to live in peace. He died several years ago. He was an amazing person. I miss him.
@@davidperez5089 What? You are mad about tool lol. Have you ever heard the dumb British slang beaver?
The plaintiff just mad the case isn’t going his way lmaoooo
🤣🤣
Exactly
😂😂😂😂
He was so salty!!! 😭😭😭😭
Emotional support dogs are not service dogs. HUGE difference. Service dogs go through YEARS of training.
Thank you! I hate when people mix the two!
So glad you pointed that out because there is a huge difference between the two
Me personally I don't think it's fair to make a dog be a service dog . Dogs weren't created for that. If u go and read the history of dogs . Yes some breeds were trained and bred to guard but not spend years in training to serve. That's just wrong.
@@Bebedollie All dogs need training. They're social and intelligent. Training is mental stimulation and they enjoy it.
Man i work in property management and ppl try to pass ESA as service animals all the time and its annoying
What an embarrassment to the veteran community.

The plaintiff is a pain. He's lucky he wasn't thrown out.
Especially with the way he spoke to the judge.
I have legit PTSD. It is not an excuse for being unprepared for court. Also, a true service dog wouldn't need a gentle leader lead.
To play devil's advocate, that's a slight man and a big dog. Or maybe the gentle leader is for other people's comfort . . . though he doesn't seem concerned about other people.
You don’t have ptsd. Stop being a professional victim.
What a jerk..service dogs are not to lunge, growl, bite. I don't allow my non service dogs to do those actions eiether.

I wouldn't help this gentleman either. You want respect you have to show respect.

Service dogs don't jump on people.
They can my service dog likes nothing better than jumping up for a pat. But. Once her harness is on she is all business
While it is possible it is highly unlikely. My mom has 2 (one is getting up on age). Even the young one while in training never jumped on anyone.
Besides the point, the way he just blew it off as “hes a dog”
Tells you everything you need to know. That is no service dog.
Using that breed as service dog is highly unlikely as it is due to their lower life expectancy.
The simple fact that a person could move in with a cage full of sewer rats and call them emotional support animals the landlord can't do anything about it is ridiculous!
A emotional support animal could do damage to your property and you have no legal resources to recoup money for it. He is one of many who abuse this screwed-up law.
Keep in mind this is NOT a service animal, this is a so called emotional support pet.
but his dog doesn't help him with his attitude
Lol
The plantiff getting mad cause the case isn’t going his way😂😂😂😂😂
Service dog? Nope. That's more like an emotional support dog for someone who has mental illness of believing he's always a victim. Poor dog!
Plaintiff is being a huge Kevin "I don't like how you're talking to me right now"
Landlords beware of the plaintiff. He's a piece of work!
What!!! Who would tell a judge "i don't like the way your talking to me" he sounds controversial with his poor attitude....
I'm mad at you, Judge, because you're not making phone calls to prove my case! What a tool, lol 😂
11:35 Dog nails ABSOLUTELY scratch the shit out of hardwood floors. And those weren't even proper WOOD.
Exactly, especially a 100lb dog. Makes a difference whether it’s a 10 lb dog or 100 lb. Damage was done.
Just cuz you’re a vet doesn’t give you the right to be a dick to everyone. Hope everyone reads this cuz I come across this wayyyyy too much
I hate when people bring their service dogs to court. It’s like they think their dog could stand as a witness lie for them and think they will get sympathy points from JM 😂
Plaintiff was shady right off the first 2 sentences…”I didn’t tell the defendant about my service dog and I don’t have to tell anybody by law…”
Me: Judgment goes to the defendant.
If it’s a legitimate service dog why wouldn’t they be brought whenever the person goes. I agree i didn’t like him too much and also very very few dogs that are service animals are Rottweilers so idk if he’s an actual service dog. Who knows 🤷♂️
A real service dog, provides as service and usually must be with their person at all times. Personally I don't think this is a service dog, probably more of a therapy dog. A service dog is trained and wouldn't lunge or jump on people. A therapy dog for his PTSD would make sence but therapy animals don't have the same rights as Serivce animals, since they don't have certified training.
was half expecting the Plaintiff to roll on the floor and throw a tantrum like a child. Sadly..he didnt, as that would've been funny, and make him at least 0.000001% likeable.
The plaintiff is cocky AF!
That's not a service dog! My friend has a pitbull and declared it a service dog...just like that...she's now a service dog. I wouldn't even be in the same room with this dog it's so aggressive. She heard another dog walking by the house and ran through their screen door and attacked the dog while the poor owner was terrified and trying to stop it. This SERVICE DOG stuff is a load of BS.
Our goldendoodle came with a service dog license. Lets just be honest, he is no service dog. The previous owners somehow got him a license in order to have him fly with them. I dont like it when people abuse the system, they give the real people who need them more trouble they dont need. People do this all the time for flights and even going into stores. As JM would say, the rest of us mere mortals need to follow the rules but you dont? This plaintiff may be a vet and have injuries related to it, but i will venture to guess his dog is not truly a service dog.
"service dog" 😂😂😂😂
This plaintiff has been here before. His name has changed, sounds like a SCAM.
I thought the same thing when I saw him....
I don't understand how some people can talk to the judge in such a manner

I remember Judge Judy saying to someone, if you have a Pitbull for a service animal, there's something wrong with you. Same thing with a rottweiler.
Yeah JJ is always telling people about pit bull attacks. “But it’s a rescue!” like it makes a difference.
Very disrespectful scam artist he does have issues sounds like
This guy is so insufferable and entitled and exhausting. Yikes. What a jerk
Societal leeches are all the same
The whole service dog thing has gotten out of hand. If I don't want an animal in my house, it's not happening. Plus, you should be required to show papers. Same thing with emotional support animals.
They are supposed to show papers
I thought so, too. Then I was told that it's illegal to ask for them....
@@Delexissss no they are not. It is against the ADA laws.
On the other hand, an ESA IS required to show documentation from a doctor citing that the dog is needed for emotional support, but actual SD's such as those leading the blind, are not required to provide any documentation.
@@ThePracticalDog Landlords can request that a potential renter provide documentation to verify the legitimacy of a renter's claim of a service dog or emotional support animal. Otherwise, people will continue to falsify that their animal is a service animal or ESA, which is why they have these laws. Landlords are also permitted to ask for verification that your animal is specially trained for your disability, which can reassure other residents and reduce anxiety that an animal, or dog specifically, is dangerous (which I highly doubt the plaintiff was legitimate, although many people approach service animals, and they should not). What landlords cannot do, or anyone else for that matter, is ask a person to disclose their specific disability and/or provide medical or diagnostic documentation. In addition, landlords must waive any pet-related deposits, but tenants can still be subjected to any damage caused by their animal(s). A landlord may deny a potential renter if the emotional support animal is not a 'reasonable accommodation,' such as a bobcat or tiger. Service Dog and Emotional Support Animal letters can also be written by a primary care physician, a licensed mental health professional (psychologist, psychiatrist, therapist, etc.), and a licensed general physician.
Typically, a good Service Dog or ESA letter will only include the client's symptoms, the fact that they are receiving mental health services, a medical or mental health professional's recommendation for the accommodation, and any state statutes and Federal law, such as California AB 468, The Federal Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988, etc.
People definitely take advantage of it, but a lot of people also truly need a service animal. Like it's unfair to not rent to a blind person because they need a service dog to get around
I cannot believe the way this plaintiff talked to JM. I'm also surprised she didn't throw him out.
100%✅
it's called he didn't tell the guy he had a service dog because it's not a service dog.
Being a veteran and having ptsd is no excuse to be a nasty, obnoxious , defensive old man
This plaintiff is a joke. Starting off with a dirty stove. How do you blame the landlord for your dirty stove?!?!?!?!
Him telling the judge he doesn't like the subject is his problem. The way he talks about his problems with ptsd he acts like it's the judges fault
Wow! The judge's tone change after he checked her😂😂😂
Judge was very accommodating with the plaintiff, even had staff help him call HUD.
Any documents to prove that is a service dog? No. Defendant is glad he's gone. I guess his plans to leave the country fell through.
Technically, you don't have to show documentation bc of HIPPA. You just have to state it's a service dog and the task it performs for you.
I knew the plaintiff was gonna be some shit a min in 😂
“She wasn’t a little girl, she weighted 220 pounds!” 😮😂
Service dog riiiiight. A bit bull service dog. Nothing suspicious about hiding the fact that one has a service dog 🐕🦺
One thing, service dogs are specifically trained and behave in a way that they don't lunge or attack. People abuse the law by turning their emotional support dogs, cats, rats, crocodiles, etc into a service animal out of the blue just by saying it is without legal back up documents. Its a shame.
The plaintif is the biggest jerk ,has anger issues ,and I feel bad for his next landlord 😂
A fully trained "service dog" should not need a muzzle (or soft leader as this guy call it) and definitely would not be jumping on anyone.
I cant stand servicemen who are so arrogant that always play the victim blaming PTSD
I can’t stand people who use the excuse I’m a disabled veteran. I’ve known a lot of people who have been in the military and they are just absolute idiots. The laws around service animals are just as bad as squatters rights.
I'm glad she dressed him down, that plaintiff is a piece of obnoxious, entitled garbage and a professional victim. The attitude and arrogant, smarmy tone he puts out is unbelievable. It's his job to prove his case, not the judge's job to do research for him. I'm glad she put him in his place.
His attitude is just very negative and he is very nasty I believe he a scammer PERIOD
He doesn't watch The Peoples Court because he works during the day. Hahahaha. UA-cam is on 24 hours a day so he can watch it anytime. Oh well, maybe he doesn't have internet.

No one should ever tell a judge in court when presenting a case "I don't like the way you're speaking to me." That's sheer stupidity.
Plaintiff reminds me of the plaintiff in the case with the BMW that had the miles rolled back.
He claims to be a poor guy, but he has a mouth full of gold 😮😮
Yes. He's poor because he could practice adequate dental hygiene to preserve his natural teeth.
Stop hating!!!😂😂😂😂
The plaintiff, and many other dog owners like him, call their dogs(animals) 'service dog(s)', without them having any training at all. They get service dogs vest off Amazon and put them on animal and think they have the right to go anywhere and do anything.
All service should be mandated by law to have obedience training and temperament testing AND be registered in a national data base.
He must be new here giving the judge attitude 😂
Wish the defendant brought receipts, the plaintiff uses the service card and uses “support animal” when clearly the dog isn’t
I used to have a great Dane rottweiler mix. He was 120lbs and tore up my floors to no end.
Also trained dogs for wags for tags. I can tell you that every dog we gave to vets were bomb proof, no way any of them would have passed if they even remotely showed aggression.
Don't make the judge mad, in a cool way she sided with the defendant even though he didn't have any estimates$250 for the stove and the rest for the cheap floor.😅
6:15 it’s the finger pointing and neck Yanking she doing- 😂😂😂😂
He was a massive POS in court and made it even worse by trying to blame it on PTSD, my god.
If the dog lunged and bit, that is not a service dog.
Judge Milian: "Did your dog lunge?"
Plaintiff: "Yes. He's a dog."
I don't think service dogs have the right to lunge at people. That normally would break their training to stay on the job while in their vest.
Rude, rude, rude. Him claiming he’s a disabled veteran and abusing the animal laws truly irritates me. Retired Navy here.
Uummm that dog is like ten lbs. The dog in question is like 140 lbs. Lol
It's an emotional support dog. Not a service dog.
That dog knows they are talking about him. He's looking guilty😂😂😂
There is a huge difference between a 'service dog' and an 'emotional support dog', this dog is neither!...
The dog was beautiful; his person, not so much. Definitely not a service animal, though, if he's lunging at people. "All dogs" don't act that way, as the unpleasant plaintiff claimed, and especially not trained service dogs!
5:50 The plaintiff started off talking fast, and leaned forward both of which are signs of aggression.
Wow... this was the first time I think JM was off her game. She seemed to be thrown by the Plaintiff's attitude and I was surprised she didn't throw him out because he was rude and disrespectful (but I guess she wanted to respect his veteran status).
This guys so rude
So funny I’m thinking of buying rental properties and googled Redditt what are the best type of tenants and it says military vets. Then I see this!!! 😂😂😂😂
Service Animals DO NOT BITE! Mine doesn’t growl, bark and 💯 % does not bite!!
plaintiff was jacked up immediately. ready for a fight!
You can tell a real service dog from the family dog by their actions and demeanor, and that's not a service dog. There is no certification (although a real training center could provide one) that must be produced on demand for a service animal. All someone can ask a customer, a tenant or anyone where dogs aren't generally allowed is that if it is in fact a service animal and what service it performs. There's a difference between a service animal and a comfort animal. A service animal might be a comfort animal in the sense that it calms someone with certifiable and diagnosed PTSD, as in the case of combat veterans or victims of violent crimes.
My rottie is my service dog. He wears his vest when we go into the dr appointments. Otherwise we go into various places for him to give love and affection and be cuddled by people. He only ever has jumped on people at home when he’s on his own property and being a dog. Of course he was young and he got in trouble for jumping to greet a person but it didn’t take away from his good work all his life.
He’s a favorite of everyone because he’s not an average breed and his big head and expressive eyes are so loving and easy to hug.
I thought was fona throw gang signs with them golds and all that red on😂😂😂😂
He doesnt have to disclose a service animal, a), and b) hes absolutely right that people will find a way to not rent to him
This guy is not a vet! He may have been there for two weeks and then freaked out. Real vet actually have respect.
