- The plaintiff brings his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child to court. The defendant put a car in her name, but the plaintiff says he paid for it and the defendant knows it’s his vehicle. He claims the defendant borrowed the car and refuses to return it, so he’s suing. The defendant argues she put money down on the car and she doesn’t owe him. She claims the plaintiff will do anything to ruin her life, and she’s countersuing for car toll late fees.

It's her fault, though she moved fast in the relationship, and I understand her hate for him, but she is wrong about keeping his kids from him.

Edit: she also admitted to drinking while under stress, not because she wanted to "party". That doesn't excuse anything, but definitely adds context.

Never once drank, because you know, I'm not a disgusting human being that would purposely risk another human beings mental/physical/emotional health. Especially not someone I am supposed to love and protect with my life because I am the person bringing them in the world and is responsible for their life. She knew who he was, she choose to have a baby with him. She doesn't get to risk her child's health because of some damn stress she caused herself. If she's a grown woman, she can stand on her mistakes and learn.

The name on the registration is the legal owner unless there is a contract stating other stipulations.
It depends on the contract. Word contract says it’s his. He paid down payment. He paid notes, she agreed to put it in her name. She is obviously jealous because he got someone else pregnant.
There was a verbal contract. She agreed to put the car in her name and he would be financially responsible for it. She breached the contract by keeping the car hostage because she was upset about him seeing another woman.
Smoking is a bad addiction, but back when I started in the 70’s nearly everyone smoked. My husband quit a couple of years ago, so now it’s my turn.

Buying a luxury vehicle when you’re unemployed is the work of a crazy person. Even if the truck had been 100% GIFTED to you, when something breaks down, you’re still going to be paying BMW-sized repair costs, and believe me, that isn’t cheap…at all. I suppose I understand what he meant by not having to be responsible for ongoing repairs to her vehicle, but one would hope that as the father of the 5 month old child that they share, he would go out of his way to make sure that she’s good as far as the car is concerned. I also pray that she isn’t still drinking, and that their beautiful baby girl didn’t suffer any ill-effects from her drinking while pregnant, because that can cause a lifetime of issues.
The moms of his children need to cooperate with each other. Someday the siblings may seek out each other ❤❤❤

This guy sounds like he may be from Nigeria, or somewhere near there. I have seen multiple cases where men from that area that have come to America, and in a short amount of time impregnated multiple women. Many of them either don’t work, or don’t contribute much to the finances.
