- The Dream SMP has an amazing storyline, amazing characters like TommyInnit and Dream, and amazing WARS - like the war of the discs, or the Dream SMP - L'Manberg war. Do you ever wish you could control the SMP, though? Wish no more - I, Animagician, (with some help) made the Dream SMP into a card game. With characters like Wilbur Soot, Technoblade and JSchlatt - Dream SMP regulars - this game is bound to be at least some fun!

Wouldn’t it be really cool, if the cards got redesigned into a massive fan art something like this -> all the character cards are supposed to be in a certain order, like they’re sticking themselves out of their apartment window. And they’re all interacting with each other. Shooting bows and arrows, throwing snowballs, potions, pouring water and lava, really just whatever. Each card gets a new color scheme and everything. The items and pets can also be drawn too. It would be a lot of work. And I don’t think I can do it because I’m just too lazy and not talented enough. But maybe we can make it a big project. Ya know I put a lot of thought into this idea when this comments probably going to get 0 likes. Lmao

I actually made a spreadsheet of the base stats of all the characters, and Tubbo placed _extremely_ high. If we ignore JShlatt Ascension and JShlatt Post-Ascension, as well as any abilties, locations, items, and events, Tubbo has the 4th highest Attack at 6, the 3rd highest Support at 6, the 2nd highest Entertainment at 8, the 2nd highest Charisma at 8, the 2nd highest Defence at 7, the 2nd highest Offensive Stat Total (ATK+SUP+ENT+CHA) at 28, and the 2nd highest Stat Total (ATK+SUP+ENT+CHA+DEF) at 35.
When faced with the rocket launcher, - 4 defence
@@Catsrnice_ Well that doesn't make much sense. The rocket launcher (or, if we want to be more specific, "Subscribe to Technoblade") isn't its own card, and is instead when you attach the Firework card to a People card that also currently has the Crossbow card attached. And the effect of this interaction is that you may choose a card to instantly discard from your opponent's side as an attack. Kinda makes Defense pointless, don't you think?
idea: technoblade gets +1 damage and defense with a steering wheel card

Techno if I may add should have an ability called Manburg Massacre: Where if he has the crossbow and the firework card he kills all the other opponents and their cards but does not do any damage to the opponent and for 2 turns all cards on both sides target him.
If you make this into a real card game IRL, I'll consider buying it

This game has a lot of potential. I hope you expand upon it sometime. It would be cool to see different cards representing characters at different points in the story. Like you could have multiple Wilbur cards, one could be when he was “dreams vassal” and another when he’s ghostbur.
For Dreams card you should’ve added a side note: “he fucking has access to creative mode”

This is beautiful and I love this and I hope the actual Dream SMP notices this and plays it.
When Technoblade is played with a firework, +2 to his attack stat, and -1 to his support and charisma or whatever that stat is.
I have a little question:
"When “summoning” a card, a player draws the topmost card from the specified pile and can choose to keep it in their hand, or play it. If kept in the player’s hand, it counts towards the 5 card limit and therefore the player cannot draw at the end of that turn.

As you can see by CTRL+F, the word "summoning" is not used anywhere else, what does this rule refer to exactly? I just feel that this rule sort of contradicts the others out of context

someone below had a comment about adding Tubbo's alter egos and I wanted to add on to the idea:
What if (as an expansion pack or canon to the game) that we have different IDENTITIES that we can equip to the characters for bonus buffs?
ex: Antfrost can become a 'mandatory volunteer' if Tommy and Technoblade is on
ex: GodDream in the holy land
ex: the option of Dreamon hunters for Tubbo, Fundy and Sapnap

Hey man, I also had an idea about a card game like this, but more about everyone in dream smp, smp earth and smp live, unfortunatly I dont have any type of way of making the game or showing my ideia to people, so ill share the game here :)
(Game for 4 people max) First, all card types are separated, theres caracter cards, loot cards and enemy cards, then everyone takes a character and decides who goes first (the game has a dice), then a enemy character is placed in the table, every one grabs an reward card and a loot card and the game starts. Each character has a health stat, attack stat, dice stat and action stat, the health is you know, health, attack is also obvious, dice stat is the dice roll needed to do damage ( if its 3 the person needs to have 3 or higher in a dice roll to attack ) and the action im going to explain now. An action is how many "things" a person can do in a turn, these thing being: using your reward card, starting a battle with a enemy or other player, using a loot card, grabbing one loot card or use the character itself, after the player uses all his actions his turn ends, so let me explain everything better.
Characters: together with all the stats, a character has an action that recharges every x amount of turns or when something happens, for example, technoblade, if tecnhoblade dies, the player rolls a dice, if he gets an 5-6, techno revives with 1 health and loses a turn(he has 3 healh) (because techno never dies ;)), another example is skeppy, that every 3 turns can remove a trap card whenever he wants (dosent stak) (because he gets trolled but alot of times troll someone instead).
Rewards: these are cards that work like the special abilities from the characters, but can be destroyed by other means, a player can have multiple ( 5 in total after needs to choose one to remove ) and have different and more crazy things, for example, an minecraft anvil can be used either three times to give +1 to any card (even other players) for 1 use to then be discarded or be used once to deal 3 damage to anything (dont need to explain), another example is funny mic, where everytime someone rolls a 6 (because loud = big or more) the player with the card gets to add or subtract from anything in that turn (not stats) ( because loud is either funny (funny = more) or unfunny (unfunny = less)).
Loot cards: this are one time use cards that dosent do alot of things, for example minecraft TNT, does 1 damage to anything, another is netherite armor, prevents 3 damage from being taken (has other variants), another is subscribe_to_technoblade (the crossbow) that does 2 damage to 2 different things, and there are obviously many more. There is also trap cards, they are togheter with the loot cards, you can place one in the table in a way that no one can see it, then when the condicions of the card are met, it activates, an example is end crystal trap, when the player with the card active (in the table) takes damage, deal 2 damage to whataver hit him, or nicest message possible, if a team is made (more on that later) and the card is active the team can be ambushed at any time which does 2 damage to the team player and makes an alliance with the other team.
Enemy cards: an enemy has the same stats as a player and can be killed for manh reasons, since an enemy can do something when killed, like grab 2 loot or grad 1 reward or recharge, but a enemy can also have effects in the game, like if someone rolls x, x happens or more, like zombie pigman (im sorry for only referencing minecraft im kinda tired so its hard to remember other things *-*), when this enemy is killed, the player loots 3, but is going to need to fight another random enemy from the top of the deck (he can flee but then needs to drop the 3 loot), theres also bigest chubby (finally remembered something), if the player rolls a 1-2 (has 4 of dice stat) he "bounces" and takes an adicional 1 damage (you know, belly go boinoinoing).
More on enemy battles: when a battles starts the attacker rolls the dice and sees the results, if the dice roll is smaller than the dice stat the player does no damage and takes the damage from the enemy (maybe more things depending on the enemy), but he can use an loot card or reward card to prevent death or to help in the fight, if the dice roll is bigger than the dice stat the player does the damage of his attack stat to the enemy (after meeting any condition the enemy might have), when the enemy dies, the player recevies/does whatever the card says, if the player dies the enemy is full health again.
Player battles:an player can strike a fight with another player whenever he wants (if he has the action points of course) the attacker is the one who rolls the dice, but the other player can use his loot and reward cards against eachother, the battle ends when a player dies, the two player enter an agreement and either stop the fight or form a team or a card is used to flee. A team is an alliance with only 2 players, when the player is in a team and enters an battle his teammate can help if he wants to, an team can also be broken anytime the players want, if all the players die exepct a team the 2 players imediatlly start a battle, this battle cannot be fleed from (kinda like an double betrayal). Theres also a little indication (didnt figure it out how it could work yet '-') in the character card that says if that card combines with another in a team, an example is: wilbur + tommy = +1 in all stats, but wilbur + fundy = -1 in all stats, just so friendship between the real player dosent come in play ( and it also makes sense ).
Death: we all die at some point, but in the game you can actually do something while dead, you can play a loot card whenever you want, and the dead player also grabs a loot card every turn, but players can be revived with some cards(but only alive players can revive).
I think thats everything explaind, i wont talk about other cards because ive been here for an hour or so, but i will say sorry for bad english im actually brazillian so i dont know alot of english :), but i hoped it was worth it reading an random though i had, if you have any questions i will answer them, so feel free to ask or give your opinion :).

nice card game. time for hardcore analysis. eret in the FCR (final control room) has a BST (base stat total) of 43 dream and techno have 41 so eret is the strongest card by far. tommyinnit with the wilbur and tubbo strat has a BST of 39 and he is easy to play and his normal BST IS 33 BBH against tommy with any member of the dream team as friendly gets a BST of 35 Tubbo with all boosts has a BST of 41 still not better then eret. Fully boosted skeppy is only BST 32 which is pretty low. hbomb can also get up to 36 (or 34). boosted karl gets 27 BST which is low. Fully boosted punz gets up to 33 BST. Quackity has a fully boosted BST of 36. dream on railway has a 39 BST and can only be played when george or callahan are already in play.
But that’s only in the fcr
When sapnap and George are played along with crafting table they gain +5 entertainment

Hey! Great cards but in my opinion are these:
-Tommy should have a special trait. I called it "Revenge and Betreyal" were if tommy is in play and an ally l'manberg dies by an enemy l'manberg card, tommy gains +2 atk but can only attack the one who attacked tommy's ally until it dies, then tommy permenantly keeps the +2 atk(this is the revenge part). Now this is the betreyal part. When tommy attacks a l'manberg card, tommy loses -1 atk for that card only BUT if its Tubbo, tommy loses -2 atk for that card although if eret is the enemy and the final control room is plased even in past rounds tommy won't lose anything.
This one is a bit over but...I think
-When an eret card is already placed and the location is the final control room, Sapnap/Geogre/Dream can be placed.
What about a tnt card(s) only played in L'manburg that instantly changes the location to a blown up L'manburg and makes it peaceful situation and banishes Dream and Techno cards to the players hands

I love how (outside of printing) this is entirely free to play. Too often are there people and videos with show off a really cool concept or product but then lock it behind a paywall. I understand why they would do that, but seeing something that was just made to be fun for the creator and player(s) is really refreshing.
Cool new cards:
Exile (Item) Return 1 person card to the opponent’s hand. The opponent cannot play that card again for 2 turns.
Memory Book (Item) If the person card holding this is not Ranboo, give them +1 Defense. If the person card holding this is Ranboo, give them +2 Defense and +1 Support.
Disc War (Situation) Use Attack for attacking. Tommy, Tubbo, and Dream have +1 Entertainment for the rest of the match.
Red Banquet (Location) Badboyhalo, Antfrost, and Eggpire Badboyhalo gain +1 Entertainment. Eggpire Badboyhalo gains +1 Attack. Ponz gains +1 Charisma while Badboyhalo or Eggpire Badboyhalo is in play. This is an Egg related card.
Red Skeppy (Person) Attack: 5 Entertainment: 6 Support: 2 Charisma: 1 Defense: 5 Gains +1 Attack while Badboyhalo is in play. This is an Egg related card.
Prime Water (Item) This is a consumable. Remove one item from the opponent’s side. If Red Skeppy is in play on the opponent’s team, discard them.
The Other Side (Location) If Karl Jacobs is in play, give him +2 Defense and +2 Support.
Fake Karl (Person) Attack: 3 Entertainment: 4 Support: 3 Charisma: 2 Defense: 5 If Karl Jacobs is in play, gain +1 to all stats. Special Ability: Copyclone. Gets the highest stat across their team while the person card with that stat is in play.
The Inbetween (Location) If Karl Jacobs is in play, give him +1 attack. If Fake Karl is in play, give them +1 in their lowest stat.
Surgery Mod (Situation) Tommy, Philza, and Wilbur get +1 entertainment. This scenario uses entertainment to attack. This is an non-canon card.
Scalpel (Item) Grants +1 attack. However, if it is played during the Surgery Mod scenario, gives +2 attack and +1 entertainment instead. This lasts until this card is discarded. This is an non-canon card.
Minecraft Manhunt (Situation) The attack stat is used for attacking. If Dream is in play, give him +1 attack and +1 defense. If Georgenotfound, Sapnap, Badboyhalo, Antfrost, or Awesamdude is in play, they get +1 support for the rest of the time they are in play. This is an non-canon card.
Ender Chest (Item) Gives the holder +1 support. While this card is in play, the player who played the card may hold 1 additional card. If this card is removed from play while the player who played it has the extra card, pick 1 card to discard.
Sir Billiam’s Manor (Location) If Technoblade is in play, he gains +1 support. If Karl Jacobs is in play, he gets -1 defense. While this location is in play, the Tension mode, or similar ones, will always be active. This is an Egg related card.
Sir Billiam (Person) Attack: 6 Entertainment: 6 Support: 5 Charisma: 5 Defense: 6 If any Egg related card is in play, this card gains +1 support and +1 defense. This card gains +1 attack while Karl Jacobs is in play on the opponent’s side.
The Egg’s Wool (Item) The person card holding this gains +1 support. If they are Red Skeppy, Badboyhalo, or Antfrost, they instead gain +2 support. This is an Egg related card.
Pogtopia Wilbur (Person) Attack: 9 Entertainment: 7 Support: 6 Charisma: 5 Defense: 7 This card can only be played during or after the JSchlatt ascension. After being in play for 2 turns, this card will change the location, remove one played card from the opponent’s side and discard it, and then discard this card. This is a Manberg-Pogtopia card.
L’Manberg Van (Location) This is a L’Manberg based card. If Wilbur, Tommyinnit, or Tubbo are in play, give them +1 entertainment. If Eret is in play, give him +1 attack. This card is removed from the pile during the JSchlatt ascension.
Axe of Peace (Item) Gives the holder +2 attack. If the holder is Tommyinnit or Technoblade, give them +3 attack and +1 entertainment instead.

Festival Planning (Situation) The support stat is used to attack. If Festival Planner Tubbo is in play, gains +1 entertainment for the rest of the match. If JSchlatt ascension is triggered, change the situation. This is a Manberg-Pogtopia card.

Lave Ravine (Location) Tommyinnit, Wilbur Soot, Philza and Slimecicle gain +1 support. The Chesticuffs card’s effects are permanently increased by 1. This is a non-canon card.
Swearing (Item) Gives the holder +1 attack, which increases to +2 attack when against Badboyhalo. Badboyhalo cannot equip this card.
Technoblade’s Execution (Location) The war scenario, or similar ones, will always be active at this location. Technoblade gets -1 defense here. Butcher Tubbo receives +1 attack here.
Totem of Undying (Item) This is a consumable. If the holder is defeated, revive them and discard this card. This is a godlike card.
Eggpire Badboyhalo (Person) Attack: 5 Entertainment: 7 Support: 8 Charisma: 6 Defense: 7 Gets +1 attack for each Egg related card in play, not counting this card. This is a Egg related card.
Declaration of Independance (Item) Gives the holder and all L’Manberg allied cards on the holder’s team +1 Support and +2 defense.
L’Manberg Tommyinnit (Person) Attack: 7 Entertainment: 7 Support: 6 Charisma: 4 Defense: 7 This card has +1 attack and -1 defense against Dream. This is a L’Manberg allied card.
FYI: A scenario being “like” one of the four main ones means it uses the same stat.

I have some ideas for some other abilities
Hbomb could have a secret ability called "IMITATION" where he can add +1 to Charisma and Entertainment to a players last remaining people card.
Wilbur could have a secret ability called "LEADERS REINFORCEMENT" where he can give +2 Support to all L'manburgians when the War card is in play. This will be balanced by making it only usable if 2-3 DreamSMP people cards are in play on the opponent's side.
Tommy could have a secret ability called "THE QUEENS PERSISTANCE" where after being the only people card left in the players hand, his Attack statistic increases by +2. This ability could only be used against Sapnap, BadBoyHalo, and Skeppy.
Technoblade could have an secret ability called "THE PIGSKIN SHEILD" where he can use the damage done to him, and add it to his next attack. This can only be used against Dream and Jschlatt.
Dream could have a secret ability called "DRISTA" where all of his statistics decrease down by 4, but Charisma and Entertainment increases by 2.
Tubbo could have an ability called "DOUBLE CROSS" where he is able to call one card from the opposing hand by his side. The card will remain with Tubbo as long as Tubbo is in play. This ability can only be used if Pogtopia is in play.
GeorgeNotFound could have an ability called "SLEEPY GEORGE" where he all of his statistics go down to 0 but his defense rises to 10. For each round George is in this state, the player regenerates +1 HP. This is a one time use and can only be used for 3 rounds. When the ability is used up, George must be discarded.
Fundy could have an ability called "SON OF THE REVOLUTION" where he is able to increase Wilburs Support stat by +3 for as long as he is in play and either the War or L'manburg card must be in play as well.
These are all I can think of off the top of my head, but I will add more as I come up with them!

Loved the video! The card game is great when I just realized something. I only have printer paper, so the cards are going to be printer paper size, which won't be great for my printer in terms of paper and ink. Do you have any suggestions on how to make it normal card sized, or at least around that size? (Pokemon, Lugioh, that kind of thing)
They're all PNG photos- shouldn't be too hard to add them all into a word doc or image editor and print multiple on one sheet?

i decided i would just be wasting a butt ton of paper, but for me I found a really good way to use as little ink as possible. when you go into the print menu, set the scale to 60 and it uses not a lot of ink and makes actual card sized cards (For the counter cards, I used 35)

Oh my god, you are so talented. I know that sounds bland (to me at least) since this is the video that introduced me to you, but wow, you knocked it outta the park dude. Its so cool and generous how you spent time making/designing these cards, producing rules, and overall, just letting people have fun. I had the some ideas:
the stans. +2. If played against dream, he cannot anger the stans so is put out of play.
Stress relievers. If played with tubbo, it divides the other persons health in half.
Just stupid ideas though.

I don't know if you've implemented this already but there should be special item cards.
Like:
Tommy's discs
Axe of Peace
Dream Sword
Sapnap's Fish, etc.
If played with resp fighter, they gain massive boost.
If played against the resp fighter, they deal massive damage.
It'd be pretty cool.
Imagine summoning a Technoblade with the Axe of Peace and wipe the entire board.
Or throwing our Tommy's disc on the field with Fundy on play to remove opponent's Wilbur and Tommy and prevent a Techno summoning.

Hey here is a comment to serve 2 purposes:
1. To push this video out to more people
2. To give a tip for the Hermitcraft card game that you may be making
There are many options for a Hermitcraft game. A large thing is that the board game should probably be team playable as that is the nature of the server (however you can change this). Going on with that there are 2 main ways to handle team games the ROOK method were there are several rounds and the teams change each round; allowing for a singular player to win, and then the basic team v team; one team wins. For the main premise of the game; it can be over any of the many conflicts that have arisen throughout the seasons; to name a few:
Prank War -> Civil War
Demise
Mycelium Resistance
There are pros and cons for doing any of them; I will briefly go over a few:
The Prank War -> Civil war has a format that can easily be turned into a game; a team loses by losing their 3 flags or by dying 25 times (as it was in the actual Civil War). The main con for the Prank War -> Civil War is that that was a few years ago and not a lot of the new viewers will know what this is.
Demise (My personal favorite) Has a general idea for a game; alive v dead. Demise is good because it took place shortly before the new season so there are a lot (but not all) of Hermitcraft fans that know what that is. It also was a very large event spanning months and is (the last time I checked) very popular within the community.
The Mycelium Resistances' main pro is that everyone that is currently a Hermitcraft fan (those that would be interested in watching a Hermitcraft card game) would know what it is; however as the conflict is not over yet it would be hard to decide which team would be a winner or how to award points.
Anyway; I enjoyed the video and found it interesting (although you may want to show the cards that have appropriate names for future reference; although you may want to notify people about it in the video or in the description). I hope my brainstorming helped! tell me when the next video comes out; or if you want to bounce ideas of off me feel free. (Although do not feel obligated to do so; It is entirely your choice)
