- The Circus Peanut is one of the original articulated patterns. It has a simple design, but you would be hard-pressed to find a pattern (vintage or modern) that will out fish it. It is very versatile as it performs great on both a jig and jerk-strip style retrieve.

It just fills the fly out so much better. Thank you my friend!
Wonderful instruction. Takes a lot of the mystery out of tying these articulated patterns for me. Thanks so much!

Thanks Paula, I appreciate it and glad it helped out.
Hey Josh, great tie 🤙question for you. (I too suffer from O.C.D lol) I was wondering what kind of markers you use. I seem to be having trouble finding a set with all the colors including those neutral colors (tans, greys etc.) Thanks any help would be appreciated.
Hey Joseph, I use Prismacolor, they have just about every color needed and they last a long time as well. They have a fine point and a broad end if you want to color materials other than thread.
Thanks Josh 👍 tight lines
