      It's class, everyone all different levels no egos and even if the trails are a bit above your level just take your time and your riding will improve a hell of a lot riding at dyfi.

      Just seeing all the different vids of DYFI have put me off going, to the point 10 of us are staying close to there in a few weeks and we are splitting up 1 day as some of us don’t want to ride there. Most bike parks I rule out as the ones I have been to you are made to feel uncomfortable because you’re to slow on the trails. Or like my visit to BPW I was pushed by other riders to get out of the way, and that ended with a concussion and needing a new helmet.

    Yay, good to see a more relatable video. I mean, I love seeing Bernard ect rip the place up, but also great to get more of a lifestyle/average rider video. Red Bull and a Sausage is the most relatable thing on the internet.

    We were there on Sunday when you were filming. A 55 year old with my 52 year old brother and nephew. We were on levo, kenevo and Giant reign e bikes not full on DH bikes. Nothing broke and nobody died. Massive technical step up from BPW but massive fun. Got plenty on runs in. Cant wait to come back.

    I started MTB at 50 last year, I've had coaching, and time in the saddle on group rides, and have thought about DyFi for the last 6 months, with a lot of trepidation. 🥹 Rachel, this video is AMAZING, 🤩 you are an absolute LEGEND, 🙌🏼 and I hope after more coaching lessons, time in the saddle, and after seeing this video, I can take a small trip to try the park for the first time later this year. 🤞🏼 Happy Trails, you absolute LEGEND! 🙌🏼

    I haven't ridden a bike in years.
    Last month I bought a specialised enduro 2018 off pinkbike and went DYFI with very little experience.
    This was my first bike park and my second mtb ride - after one half day at Gisburn Forest.
    As expected, DYFI humbled me. There were some falls, but no lasting damage.
    If you're a beginner I can't stress enough to take body armor and elbow pads, saved me at least twice.
    One day here levelled up my riding and confidence exponentially.
    The only thing I would love is for some more progressive beginner friendly lines and jumps that you can session quickly.
    All the jumps were too big for me, but you can roll them carefully.
    Overall well worth it if you come with a can do attitude and don't give up after eating it. 😂

    I consider myself competent but am crap on jumps which holds me back. Dyfi is gnarly for regular riders like myself, however!! I've never progressed so fast in a single park as I have on the numerous times I've visited. Still not black running, but finding my way down in my own way. struggle with concrete tube step down, everything else is manageable with a stern self talking to. ride 2017 niner rip9 160front / 150rear. get 4 pot brakes though, My 2 pots burn out. 48years bloke

    What a load of rubbish again . These riders are extremely good ,not beginners novices ,or too amatuer.

    • @janinengaiomtb
      @janinengaiomtb 2 місяці тому

      @@tilesshaw7658 with all due respect, that’s just not true. So yes, the riders near the beginning are definitely really good with great bikes but us nearer the end, definitely not as good as them! My bike was nowhere near £3k, I’ve been riding for 3 years (took it up in my 40’s) and I live 5 hours away from Dyfi but love making the trip there. It’s absolutely doable for a novice, you don’t have to cane it down, it levels you up as rider if you make a couple of visits with the intent to learn a few things. The coaching options are excellent too, worth the investment. This sport is my only remaining vice in life so my ‘spare’ cash goes to it instead of other wasteful stuff that it used to. And no, I don’t work for Dyfi, I just rate it massively and it’s improved my riding and confidence no end 🙌🏾
