The best haircut I ever had was when I was 16 in 1989 and visited Truefitt & Hill when they were based on Old Bond Street !

Absolutely the finest shaving creams and pre shaving oil in the world. My daddy gave this to my brother and I 15 years ago. There is nothing like it. Actually less cost than buying Edge. I have not had any for the last year, but it’s truly missed!!!!!

You don't need to buy expensive pre-shave oil from any establishment. Just make your own ... mix equal parts of olive oil, flaxseed oil and almond oil, plus a small amount of fragrance oil (lavender, peppermint, etc.). Apply to face before using shave gel/cream.

People are complaining about the video but man that barber his technique is terrible from the way he applies the cream to the way he uses a hot towel at the end instead of a cold towel which is used to close the pores before the aftershave balm. One of the standout issues in between was the way he held the brush but let’s just say his cream game needs work. If you shave people for a living at least do a better job than I could do myself the only upgrade is a straight razor shave wise, but I personally enjoy my safety razor more as they’re better collectibles and look better.

Not sure what you mean as this video is about explaining everything he does and why. It's not like he talks during a normal shave. It's a video for education purposes and not for you to just enjoy seeing someone getting shaved.

Good lord..first of all..dont put you finger in the cream. A good barber would smack you in the face for doing that..your contaminating the soap.second..you need to use a bowl to lather it up and add some water.. I see truefitt&hill as a wanna be posh and classy brand.the soap is so dissapointing.But guys, even a Cella or a proraso ia better then this crap. But Abate y la Mantia if you want a first class shave.
