Hi Simon, thanks for the info! I’ve been trying to work out more about the history of it. I’ve worked out that I was built March 1977 according to build no’s. and the engine no. The prior owner thinks the tray was added in the 2000’s but I haven’t looked into it, so I’ll read up about Alcan Tray’s. Glad you enjoyed the video. Bailey
@@baileyyoung Telecom Landcruiser's were orange until around 1979 then most were white, they mostly used Alcan trays on the Landcruiser's good quality alloy tray but very expensive.
Great video man is nice to see you working on it Hope to see it finished I on 1 hj45 I got the problem I don’t got to much pressure on my breaks ene one now show to increase the pressure diesel works with the alternator. It produced the air thanks sheers
This model of tank is still available directly from Toyota. In Europe it costs ~350€. Also to empty it you should have had a plug under, should be aligned where there is the hole for leaking fuel to escape the body.
Hey mate, great video, awesome that you are so passionate about Cruisers. I am looking forward to see some progress.
Thank you! Me too, I’m really keen to get stuck into it.
You should do a series called journey to roadworthy

Thanks James.
Hi Bailey, it looks like an old telecom car I think that the tray could be the original as it is an Alcan tray. Great video Simon.
