Hi, my name's Bailey. This is my UA-cam channel.
My Rural Teaching Experience at St George SHS – A QUT & DoE QLD Interview
In this interview, I share my experiences as a pre-service teacher undertaking a rural placement at St George State High School, Queensland. Conducted by QUT and the Department of Education Queensland, this discussion highlights the unique opportunities and challenges of teaching in a regional context. From building strong connections with students and the local community to fostering creativity and confidence in the classroom, this placement has broadened my perspective on teaching and my future career. Whether you’re considering a rural placement or just curious about life as a teacher in the bush, this video provides valuable insights and advice.

My mindset was different for this video. I didn't take footage for the sake of taking footage. If I saw a moment that would be worth capturing on camera, I took it. Hope you enjoy the video!

Is there an update on the car!? Are you still working on it?
@@danc3acadameyFAN Unfortunately, it’s currently on pause at Mr LandCruiser in Caboolture.
@@baileyyoung sad times
Can i get a shoutout for my channel in your next video
Looks like you had a lot of fun Bailey!!! So pretty... How cold did the temperature get to in Queenstown? xx
Thanks James! The coldest temperature I saw was -2°C!
Sad to hear how badly the floods affected you, but I hope you can find the motivation to keep working on it. It'll definitely pay off in the end. If you haven't already, maybe check the carb - something in it might be seized or clogged with gunk from the water.
Thank you. At the moment I’m thinking about swapping the 2F for a 3F at this point.
@@baileyyoung Might be a good idea if you can get one for a decent price, but I think it's definitely worth having a few more cracks at the 2f before putting all the time, effort and money into a swap. Best of luck.
I want to see your work. I do not want a detailed explanation, and I do not need to appear in the video Your voice is enough
Okay, I’ll take note of your suggestion. Thanks Ghassan. 👍
Keep working on it. I've seen one of my father's 40 Series go under water up at a mine in North Queensland and they got it going in a day.
Will do, thanks.
Priceless vehicles. I am looking for one similar cars with an open back fully functional and a right hand drive. Please send me pictures and prices as well. Probably down Australia so it could be easier for shipment to PNG
Great stuff mate 👍
Thanks James.
Wow that a lot of water, Don't give up mate. All the best and look forward to seeing you bring the FJ45 back to live! If you need any tips give me shout.
Thank you! I really do appreciate it. Your videos helped inspire me to get my hands dirty! All the best.
Sorry to see how bad the floods affected you and your area mate. I have been struggling with motivation with my 45 lately as I am also working on other projects and renovations to our house. I hope you persist though, they are such an awesome vehicle and a good investment for your future in you do it well. Try going down to it after work and having a beer with it, after a while you bond with it like a dog haha. All the best bro
Thanks Justin, I really appreciate it.
I have a 1979 fj45 with a genuine 110,000km. Ex farm. On full rego. They are addictive, strong, with rust being there only enemy. You will enjoy this project. Im an auctioneer in the car industry and it give me more pleasure than anything tondrive on the auction floor!😊
That’s amazing and yes thank you, I’m keen to get cracking.
@@baileyyoung good investment. Tidy ones sell for 100,000 US in the states

This model of tank is still available directly from Toyota. In Europe it costs ~350€. Also to empty it you should have had a plug under, should be aligned where there is the hole for leaking fuel to escape the body.
Ok sweet, thanks for the advice!
Awesome video man love your work!
Thanks Raph!
Great video man is nice to see you working on it Hope to see it finished I on 1 hj45 I got the problem I don’t got to much pressure on my breaks ene one now show to increase the pressure diesel works with the alternator. It produced the air thanks sheers
Hey mate, great video, awesome that you are so passionate about Cruisers. I am looking forward to see some progress.
Thank you! Me too, I’m really keen to get stuck into it.
Hi Bailey, it looks like an old telecom car I think that the tray could be the original as it is an Alcan tray. Great video Simon.
Hi Simon, thanks for the info! I’ve been trying to work out more about the history of it. I’ve worked out that I was built March 1977 according to build no’s. and the engine no. The prior owner thinks the tray was added in the 2000’s but I haven’t looked into it, so I’ll read up about Alcan Tray’s. Glad you enjoyed the video. Bailey
@@baileyyoung Telecom Landcruiser's were orange until around 1979 then most were white, they mostly used Alcan trays on the Landcruiser's good quality alloy tray but very expensive.
@@toyopatrestorations1588 Gee that’s cool! Do you know if there’s a photo of one / is there somewhere I can find info about it?
You should do a series called journey to roadworthy
