Great set up very envious, I have just picked up a 1975 HJ45 and would appreciate the parts list for the fitting of the 12HT. Plus any traps you found. Thanks in advance.
@@explora_downunder hi Love the truck just starting to collect some components now to do a build is it possible that I could get the full parts list to do this I would be starting from a HJ47 but so probably a little different thanks
Authentic OEM Toyota sun visors are still manufactured for the 40 series. They are made in NSW by Hy-Way Sun Visors and are available from Toyota or from Hy-Way direct. Why is anyone on this earth having problems finding a sun visor ??? Nothing beats the real thing.
This was a good video it’s hard to imagine the state of the vehicle originally based of those floor pan shots, you’ve done really well and you should be entering comps as you’d be taking home the awards for sure.
Thanks mate, billies bay was great! We were quite surprised at how quiet it was down there especially for a weekend. There is facilities and 3 BBQ of BBQ areas that you can park on the grass next to. Hays landing is only 2minutes from Billies bay and it has a boat ramp and 12 undercover picnic tables.
Thanks mate! yes, I used the parts from a hj60series (steering knuckles, disk brakes and hubs). You will need to use the HJ47 steering arms (the ones that sit on top of the knuckles) as the 60 series ones are slightly longer and offset differently. Hope this helps :)
Thanks very much mate :) Yeah the 12ht is getting pretty hard to find now unfortunately even over here in Oz, but definitely nothing wrong with the mighty H engine they are a solid motor.
Nice build .... but as far as the LED spots are concerned ... skip the Stedi's and go for the only USA made LED ... ARB Intensity V2 32 Led Spot , made by Ridged Industries .... in USA .. everything else down under is made in China .... sorry but a fact ...
Thanks man! Ahh we will look into the ARB leds, we ended up getting Stedi leds about a year ago, they seem to be pretty good so far but thank you for the info! 🙏
Wow I want one!!!!! I’m jealous
Well done but to be honest I personally love the old-school FJ45 without any modifications!

Great job, really love everything you have done, a lot of hours, but now can enjoy it.
Lovely build. The spare I would mount in the front of the tray so it doesn't block your view.
We will be putting up a new rig rundown soon, we have upgraded the tray to a tray and canopy setup now
beautiful mate!
great looking rig, good to see
The beautiful Land Cruiser thx for sharing bro
Thank you for watching!
