      Hashimotos is an autoimmune disease.
Research has shown that fruits and vegetables are associated with anti-inflammatory properties. And there is evidence that a vegan diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains reduces inflammation. A plant-based diet may also reduce autoimmune disease symptoms, such as fatigue.

I’ve been taking 5000-10,000 iu D3 with K2 for 4 years since the C-pandemic and it completely cured my chronic bronchitis/mild asthma!

Once I turned 40, I developed mild persistent asthma. I live in Seattle and work night shift, so I get no sun light. I had to take 4 maintenance puffs of HFA inhaler everyday (2 in the morning, 2 at night). I was only taking about 1000 IU's of vitamin D from a multivitamin. A few weeks ago I saw on some youtube videos that vitamin D can help with asthma. I started taking 10,000 IU's and it made a huge difference. Now I'm down to only two puffs per day, and sometimes I feel like I don't need the inhaler at all anymore. My pulmonologist never said anything about looking into Vitamin D....

This is so similar to what I did and also started supplementing in 2017. I stayed at 2500-5000 iu for a long time having some of the same fears. I just recently upped to 10,000 iu's and hope to finally start feeling results. Having low vit. D creates an illness hard to describe and it's debilitating.

A normal actual good level is at 250. 13 is dangerously low. You can take a one time dose on 50.000IU's and should feel better within 48 hours, I did and I was bedridden in depression. The 5000 a day. 1000 is too low. I have Graves disease (hyperthyroid) and have gone from bedridden to doing martial arts on 5000IUs a day and havent had any episodes since 2019 so I havent needed surgery.
We have these diseases in our genes but they're only activated if we are low in vitamin D.

my mom is suffering from dipression for the past 18 years and recently after the COVID vaccine i too started to face this issue, i thought am lazy or demotivated becoz of this lockdown situation, but when i started to search online and found everyone speaking about vitamin d levels, so checked mine and it was 28 which is low. and for my mom it was 12 , i went crazy , how come a doctor didnt knew this and prescribing medicine without even checking the blood test. even her B12 levels were crazy low as see is a vegan. I have started taking 2500 IU and a 30 min of sunlight at 11 AM as vitamin d from sun is max at this time. hope i become normal and happy again, plus gave my mom a 10k IU + vit k2 mk7 110 mcg supplement.

Hello from a fellow engineer (mechanical). I will have to check out some of your tech videos. I also enjoy researching and have been spending much of my research time lately on health.
Have you looked into Omega-3 levels? They also show positive benefits for autoimmune conditions. I'm two months into increasing my vitamin D intake and omega 3 intake based upon test results for each and my eczema is in remission.
I would be interested in seeing an update with your vitamin D levels and thyroid hormone levels plotted together. I'm glad you are improving as you learn and implement some changes.

This is really good! Seeing your timeline and the numbers really helpful. I recently started my d3 journey exactly like your story I’m lucky to discover all these information at the beginning and your videos also confirms all my understandings. One year ago my d3 level was 26 and my doctor said it is within the green zone, I couldn’t believe my body is losing its vitality due to my age (52), I did my own ‘nutritional fitness’ lab test with quest and my d3 is 23 and they said it has to be closer to 100 and I was already come to a conclusion that it has to be at least above 50. I’m taking 20k IUS of d3, over 300 mcg of magnesium glycinate and k2 over 300 mcg. I’m also taking whole bunch of other supplements recommended by Anthony William of Medical Medium, I’m going to do vitamin d3 test every month to see how it is improving… I’m already started seeing some improvement… my guess is that I will reach my d3 level to 65 in 3 months time based on my research and also looking at your numbers… thanks again! Btw, I purchased your course, thanks for putting it all together!

Thank you for taking the time to make this video and write the series ☀️🙏🏼 this makes a lot of sense and has encouraged me. - I have been suffering from fatigue for a while. I just started taking vitamin D with K2 recommended from a brand recommended by a functional doctor. Question - you said you still had symptoms when your vit D was 34? Mine is 35 and I am so exhausted everyday. My previous doctors went by 30 rule so I thought I was good until now. I’m glad you found the help you needed and that you have recovered. Thanks for sharing your story. God bless 🙏🏼

I have had mine as high as 120ng and had zero negative side effects. I never had a cold or sickness when it was elevated and had great energy. I took on average 30k iu dailly along with magnesium and k2. Dr Judson Sommerville, Dr Bruce Hollis are great at explaining the benefits of high doses of d3. Also, Jeff Bowles wrote a couple of books about his decade of research on this topic. I was severely deficient at one point and it destroyed my quality of life.

The funny thing is that vets recommend 100-150 ng/mL as the healthy range for all domesticated mammals (cats, dogs, cows, etc.) Aren't we mammals too? Why is our recommended range so low?
It's almost like somebody wants us operating at a suboptimal level...

Vitamin D may help with inflammation caused by a poor diet. The epidemic of type 2 diabetes will affect more than half the population in a couple of decades. I would take a test to see what your insulin level is doing. If you are suffering from insulin resistance, you will suffer more from fatigue. Take it easy on the fructose and carbs you ingest and and eat more protein, fat and fiber. It has been shown that the human body does not require daily carbohydrate intake to survive. If you frequently want to fall asleep after a meal, you are not eating properly. Refrain from snacking between meals and be more active! The SAD is bad for you.

Techno Panda ... I find myself at the beginning of your journey. Your experience has shortened my path to a solution. My original experience with D3+K2 (5000iu) started in April 2020 to help fight Covid. Last month I told my doctor I was taking 7500iu of d3 - he quickly accessed the internet (may have been cdc) and told me I should be getting only 800iu for an 78 year old man. Next I got the lecture for overdose. But I paid for my own test last February and showed him I got 34.7 ng/mL. Then he added a vitamin d blood test to the other tests. I got 23 ng/mL. Over 3 months in time taking same dose of d3 with different scores. At this point I became concerned about my current source of D3 which was a capsule - before the capsule I was taking 5000iu of D3 as a jell cap. My thinking is that since D3 is fat soluble it may be better to take a jell cap over a capsule. I have not resolved this issue. Currently I am taking 10000iu D3 in a jell cap - no test yet. My main reason for taking vitamin D is to improve my immune system. I think of vitamin D as the energy source for the immune system such as energy for T cells - this may not be completely accurate as I am a novice in this area. I have always used Magnesium and Zinc and K2 in addition to D3. It is obvious to me that D3 can help with many things such as Virus, Flu, Depression, Cancer and many more. But our health system does not encourage people to use vitamin D3. Thank you for all your work on D3.

You can also buy some lanolin oil and rub it on your skin. It makes a great, very powerful moisturizer of the skin. But more importantly, anywhere the sun hits it, it will turn to vit D3 and you will absorb it through your skin.
Of course, your skin produces vit D3 in the sunlight on its own, but adding lanolin ups the amount tremendously.
It's a very safe way to absorb as much D3 as you need.

Why does vitamin D supplements give me breakouts?

    • @itzakpoelzig330
      @itzakpoelzig330 12 днів тому +1

Is it D3 or D2? Never take D2. It's synthetic and the body won't utilize it.
If it is D3, look at the other ingredients. Many supplements include ingredients like cellulose, maltodextrin, waxes, soy oil, etc. any one of which could be the cause of your breakouts.
A good D3 pill will contain only: D3, a clean oil like olive oil or coconut oil or MCT oil (any other oil is substandard), and a gelatin that forms the capsule. Most gelatin capsules are made from beef or fish. Either is fine. Some cheap nasty capsules are actually made from plastic! Avoid them! Plant derived capsules are sometimes made of things like agar or carrageenan. Those aren't bad, but they can be irritating for some people's bodies, so they're not ideal.
If you have a good quality pill but you're STILL breaking out, then I would assume it's a healing reaction. D3 strengthens the immune system, so maybe your newly strong immune system has found some icky stuff inside you and is eliminating it through your skin. In that case, patience, plenty of sleep, and plenty of water will be your best bet.
