- Getting good at anything takes time and practice. Bashing is no different. Rig setup and maintenance is key. Being patient and having fun is essential. The 3s rigs are ridiculously fun and capable and perfect for the concrete jungle. Huge shout out to my son Andrew for another super fun session!!! Thanks to Fast Track Hobbies and M2C Racing for everything they do.
After all these years, my mt410 and typhon are still my babies... got over 20 rigs, and they are just hard to beat! Killer dad son bash rich! Teaching my 6 yr old bashing his lmt...
Yeah the Typhon and MT41O are definitely both keepers 😍. It's so much FUN having Andrew out there!!! Hope your son sticks with it. Such a great hobby to share with the family 🤗🚀🚀
DUDE!!! What a bash!! Andrew is kicking A$$!!! With driving lessons from pops and natural talent, he's a force to be reckoned with! Loved that double to a nose plant too, cant believe you pulled and drove off!!! this is what its all about!!!
Thanks so much Brother Avery 😜!!! I'm so utterly stoked Andrew is digging hanging out with pops 😍. He's getting the feel down quick. Getting him on 4s was a huge help. That nose bonk was hilarious 😂. Really appreciate it Brother!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
What fun Rich.... That was awesome my friend
Thanks so much Dennis 🤗. Having Andrew out has been like a dream come true 😍. So stoked he's taken an interest. The fun factor is on a whole new level 🍻😎💪👊👊
They need a rc freestyle at a skate park comp.
Rich wouldn’t stand a chance vs Kamikaze RC
@@RC_BerserkerI guess I gotta check that guy out because 2 years ago there was ZERO AND I MEAN NO ONE as good as Rich at least on UA-cam.
Love the skate part bash , that loop still defies gravity. Also massive props to the encouragement to your boy . So good to see .
Thanks so much Lucas 🤗. The loop is always a challenge. So easy to give it took much pace and go sailing 😱😂. Having Andrew out has been such a true joy. So grateful to share the time together 😍
Your boy is a natural!
A skatepark is such a great place to learn trigger discipline.
I've been taking advantage of the bad Cali weather and ripping up empty skateparks lately myself.
Really helps refine my technical driving skills.
Thanks Brother 🤗. Yes indeed about trigger discipline 👌. It's so easy to go flying out of the bowls. I always stress safety and park courtesy. Had a pointed conversation with Andrew about not hitting anyone and watching his speed. The skatepark is the perfect place to hone your skills and throttle control. So stoked he had a Blast out there!!! 🍻
Great driving fellas!! Andrew D did great with that MT410. If he keeps at it it won't be long until we will have 2 skatepark kings. Skatepark can be so brutal if your not driving with such finesse. Great video Rich!👍🤙💯
Thanks so much Chad 🤗. Andrew is digging the MT41O and finding lines fast 👀. The skatepark can be very unforgiving no doubt. Getting out of there with only minimal breakages can be a challenge. We had such a Killer fun time 😂. Truly appreciate it Brother. 🍻
That’s the key is good landings as much as possible in all jumping scenarios for me .
Andrew is kicking some serious butt! Great stuff!!!!!
Thanks so much Brother 🤗
I hope Andrew grows into his dad's infectious laughter, Rich we all know you are a mega ramp killer but this session was very fun to watch
Thanks so much Brian 🤗. This session was so darn FUN!!! Can't wait to get Andrew back out there 😍
The flip in the tube was epic! Very nice and smooth driving skills. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. Truly appreciate the kind words 🍻
One of the best rc driving vids i've ever seen
Thanks so much Jeremy 🤗. Truly appreciate the kind words. 🍻
Rich that was an awesome run at the skate park man and Andrew is just killing it out there. He is really getting the hang of this.
Thanks so much Brother David 😜. Andrew really wants to get out there and try different rigs. It's so awesome watching him experiment and find his way. He's getting the control down quick. The time together is priceless 😍
13:01 = PERFECT "That's what she said" moment 😂😂😂
Sick vid, it's cool seeing some of the older rigs come back out. I've kinda went in reverse in the hobby, went straight to the 6s and 8s trucks, and have just now started to really appreciate how fun trucks like the granite and big rock can be!
LMAO 😂. Thanks Brother. It's easy to forget just how fun and capable these little lightweight Rippers are 😍. So easy to wrench on, cheap to fix,, and easy on the back 😂. I truly love all the scales, but these 1/10 are so quick and agile. They challenge your skills and make the laughs start rolling 😱🤣🤣
What a great way to teach your Son physics, patience and control while having a blast at the same time. Well done Sir.
Thanks so much Joe 🤗. So happy Andrew had a good time out there!!! We're definitely going back. 🍻
Watching u never gets old.
Thanks Luke 🤗. Man the Typhon 3s is fun at the skatepark 😱😂
Sweet bash! Gotta love the 3s rigs!
On a side note I've been watching your channel for a couple years and could NEVER figure out what your channel profile was until just now. It's a ramp😂.
Yeah the 3s rigs are so Crazy fun 😍. Super durable, affordable, and so easy to wrench on. I'm often bashing what we're actively testing with M2C. That's usually 6 and 8s bits. It's like getting back to RC roots running these awesome 1/10's 😍
@@richduperbash2966 yeah man! I sold my Traxxas Hoss a few months ago. My last 3s I ever had. I have a Maxx v2 6s build but I’d put that in the 8th scale category.
Another awesome run Rich looking forward to you and Andrew bashing it up again👊
Thanks so much Brother 🤗
Excellent bash Andrew! Rich you make some good looking kids! Awesome!
Thanks so much Jeremy 🤗. I'll pass your kind words on to Andrew 😎
We have to think that they gonna grow up and those times are really especial, Blessings from Massachusetts 🙏🙏
Thank you Brother 🤗. Andrew is graduating in June 👀. Not sure where the time goes, but cherish these moments having fun together 😍
@Rich Duperbash my last 2 graduate last year and now 12+ cars at my basement just throwing a quarter always to see wichbone I run😅😅a least my 19 old dougther have a new trx4 let's see and the 18 and 23 old boys just working, Wishing u the best always 🤝🤝🙏🙏God Bless u and your family 👪
Mate just took our Typhon 3s out to the local skate park with your tyres on! F11s with 2.8s so smooth mate and still awesome air control! Took the Typhon 6s as well with mx28s on such a pleasure
Nice to see the 3s rigs back out
Epic session at the skate park, brother Rich👍✅️ Speed & Throttle control at its finest..🤩💯Andrew D, was definitely killin it..💥🚀🏆
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. Andrew is finding his way for sure 👀😎💪👊👊
Awesome session!!💯🔥 Good for you out there with your boy!
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. Super grateful Andrew has finally taken an interest in the hobby 😍
I can watch you & Andrew drive in the skatepark for hours. So sick! I went to the skatepark with 4 different RC cars the other day and came back home with 2.5 RC cars. 😂😂
Thank you so very much Brother 😜. What an epic FUN time with Andrew!!! The skatepark is so unforgiving. Making it out without major breakage is a serious challenge 😂. I'd say we got lucky this trip. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Love those skate park bash , rock on !!!!
🤘🤘
Thanks so much Brother Stephane 😜!!! He asked me what the TEKJO sticker was and I told him about you. Now he knows your gaskets are what's keeping the diff fluid where it belongs and the gears happy 😍
Great bash with Andrew D brother he's really getting the hang of it 👍🏼 👍🏼😎💪🏽🔥🔥🚀🤙🏼🍻
Thanks so much Brother 😜. Andrew is picking things up quick 👀. Such an awesome thing to see 🍻😎💪👊👊
@Rich Duperbash beautiful thing to see for sure from one dad to another...can't wait to see if my lil man picks up on it also! He's only 2 and loves to watch the rigs fly around with me and that's enough for me🤪🤣 bash on brothers!🤙🏼🚀🔥💪🏽😎👊🏼🍻
He deserves to keep the mt410 after that grind 👍
No doubt Brother 😂. That was so sick 😱🚀🚀. 100% locked in like a skateboard 🍻
Great video Rich, looks like the kid is a chip off the old block. Well done Andrew
Thanks so much Geoff 🤗
That would be so awesome bashing with Rich! Looks like they had a great time.👊🔥
Thanks Daniel 🤗. We definitely had a Blast out there. Andrew is picking things up quickly. Racing around with him in the bowls was awesome fun!!! 🍻
Glad to see you guys back at the skate park! Your son's driving skills are getting better and better each video. Keep building that confidence man!
Thanks so much Bobby 🤗. Andrew is honing in his skills quick 👀. I'm trying to encourage him to try different rigs as that really helps your overall driving ability. Truly appreciate the kind words Brother!!! 🍻
Andrew with the killer rail grind @10:55 !! Epic session Rich.. Kid's a natural! Loved the Typhon pirouette hahaha Way cool! Love the Typhon such a versatile animal. Awesome vid!
Thanks so much Steve 🤗. That air to grind was so awesome 🙀. Andrew was having so much fun rippin around. Never realized how killer the Typhon 3s was for the skatepark 😱. What a little Ripper!!!
Awesome skatepark rip! Andrew did awesome 👍
Thanks so much Brother Aaron 😜. I'm so stoked he's loving both the MT410 and Outcast 6s EXB 😍. Definitely getting him back out there again soon. 😎💪👊👊
So nice bro!👍🏻👊🏻
quality time😎✌🏻
Awesome ripping today! Nice to hear that the 3s Arrma range has chassis braces! Cheers
Thanks Brother 🤗. The M2C chassis braces have been awesome. Super simple and effective 😍
always a good day out with family awesome bash to you and Andrew
Thanks Dhon 🤗. Andrew is really digging it!!! So happy to spend the time together 😍
THE 👑 of the Skate Park out with his Son!! Andrew has Skills like his Pops 👊👍 He was tearing it up with MT410. That slide on top of the coping was SMOOTH!! I Love my 3S Typhon!! I need a wheel setup like yours. Total Control!! The Flips over the Gap and the Sketch landings were Off the Hook!! It's Always Great watching the Skate Park Sessions!! Great that you're Boy likes the Hobby!! All Hail the 👑 !! Stay safe and Bash on from Colorado!!
Thanks so much Ervin 😜!!! Andrew has so much fun rippin the MT41O 😱. So stoked to see him finding lines and sorting his touch. That air to grind just about floored me 😂. Can't believe I hadn't tried the Typhon 3s at this park sooner. Such a perfect little Ripper in the bowls. Just so you know, I saw the same Badlands 2.8 premounted from Proline. Only difference is they're on the Raid wheels and you need to order their optional 17mm wheel hexes (instead of the 1/10 scale 12mm they come with). These tires and foams are perfect for solid air control and smooth landings 🍻 www.amazon.com/Pro-line-Racing-Badlands-Black-PRO117310/dp/B07T15MHJD/ref=asc_df_B07T15MHJD/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=416750690396&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12689225436453418700&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9032516&hvtargid=pla-896731535882&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=92049667097&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=416750690396&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12689225436453418700&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9032516&hvtargid=pla-896731535882
@@richduperbash2966 Thanks Rich for the link!! The tires are being delivered today!! Once the 17mm adapters arrive I'm slapping them on & straight to the skate park!! 👊👍
@@ervinmedina9014 you bet Brother 🤗
@@richduperbash2966 I wanna play too
Every single one of you disgusting people that are using this hookup app deserve to rot in prison for the rest of your perverted lives
Maan what a killer session. So glad to see your son take such a big interest in it with you. Love seeing the typhon going so sweet at the skatepark. I made a typhon 3s for my dad and he's had his at the skatepark n loves it. Those tires look like they are such a versatile tire. I just put mojave tires on my 6s typhon n I think I have a new favorite tire for it haha. Maybe a semi truggified in the future with mojave arms( trphyfied?) .they share the same hubs so it should be easy. But thos entire session was killer and a blast to watch. You both had absolutely killer lines.i would love to try that full pipe gap haha. I feel like I'd need to bring some spares haha. Thanks for such an awesome video man. Thoroughly enjoyed it 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
Thanks so very much Nick 😜. That's awesome you built a Typhon 3s for your dad 🤗. Sucker rips so hard at the skatepark. So light and planted. The original Badland 2.8 tires are a perfect match for the 3s 👌. I love the Mojave wheels on my Truggified Typhon XL 😍. The Kraton hubs/stubs and Mojave arms/links/shafts make her so stable. She's still my all-time favorite basher 😋. This park session was so crazy fun!!! Watching Andrew experiment with the different rigs has been awesome 😍. He got some lines down quick and was getting some nice flow going 😱. Looking forward to getting him back out again soon 🍻😎💪👊👊
Maybe it's just your driving skills but that Typhon seems like it was made for the skate park!
Thanks Michael 🤗. I think the Typhon 3s is perfect for the skatepark 😍. Super planted, fast, and agile. Can't believe it took me so long to finally try her out here. 🍻
Best and most overlooked Skate Park rig is the Redcat MT 10E! It needs a servo saver upgrade and I’m not gonna say it is tougher than the Granite for sure because I love both but the Redcat has taken more abuse from me as long as you deal with the servo. If I could only run 2 RC’s at the skate park it would be the Granite and the Redcat.
That's awesome to hear 👍. I've heard lots of positive feedback about the MT 10E. Wish my LHS had parts on hand for them. Ordering online is easy enough, but getting stuff same day is nice when you need it quick or want to repair same day 😉
@@richduperbash2966 every once in a while, it’ll go on sale for 250. Honestly though, they should just be giving you one!
Great bash out there at your kid rich
Mega nice Rich 😍👍🏻
Thank you Brother 🤗
Have you ever thought of or tried 1/8 scale truggy and buggy racing. I still bash from time to time but I mostly club race. It would be cool to see you on a track ripping it up. I know it’s different and not for everyone. Plus it’s kinda expensive.
I raced 1/10 as a teen and 1/8 a few years ago, not club racing, just semi organized night racing on an awesome track here locally. I love track time with friends. 🍻
When r we getting more truggified typhon content?!
I just picked up a typhon today off marketplace for 150! just waiting for the batteries to come in the mail so I can bash it
Congrats!!! Awesome purchase my friend 🍻
as good as always! Have you done anything with the diffs and gears on the granite? Heard they are very easy to strip.
No I haven't. Still running stock weight fluids and no modification to the diffs. Gear failures are usually from frozen input gear bearings.
When your in the bowls how do you get out? Id love to try a bowl but id have to call the fire department to get me out! Lol. No seriously!
Getting out isn't easy. You have to run up the transition and pull yourself out by the coping. It's easier than jumping a wall, but still takes some grunt. Getting into the bowls safely can be a bit sketchy too 😂
This is off topic but anyone know what happened with method rc wheels/ tires? Sold out everywhere
nice video dude !
unfortunately, im struggleing a looot with the backsite of the spear gear connected to the diff from my arrma 3s rigs as its getting eaten up almost every 2 or 3 runs and I do not get why that is 😩😩
regarding the cut into the chassie - isnt that really bad for the bearings when driving through mud and water?
Thank you Brother 🤗. Might check your rear input gear bearings (the 2 within the plastic yoke). The front facing one is most likely to seize from dirt, grime, and moisture collection. On that note, the chassis slit keeps water and moisture from settling in the slipper housing. Despite it's sealed appearance, the slipper assembly is really only sealed enough to trap junk inside with the gears grinding debris and dirt into a fine dust that destroys the slipper and front motor bearings. The slit allows everything to get blown right out. Also, it's ok to put a thin coat of marine grease on the input spline. That can help reduce sheer on the slipper hub spline. In a nutshell, the rear input should spin freely (when the slipper assembly/motor is detached) when you turn either rear wheel by hand. If it doesn't, the input bearings usually need attention.

Do you remember what diff oil weights you are using on the MT 410? I've had my MT 410 for about six months now and I'm just not happy with it. I'm running a Castle 1530/ 1650kv + MMX. I was running it on an 18t pinion on 4s. I also tried running it on 6s, but I'm just not getting the power I want. I using the stock diff oil weights and I think I'm losing power from the center diff.
I'm running 50/200/30k front to rear diffs. For shocks I'm running 80 weight or 1000cst. You probably have to gear taller with the 1650kv. I'd think closer to 22-23T depending on wheel size. 🍻
@@richduperbash2966 - right on, that's SUPER helpful. I'm running the Backflip LPs. So, on 4s, I plan on running 22t. If I run it on 6s, I'll step it down to 16-17t. Thanks for the help! You're the man!
Hey Rich, I'm building a kraton 8s exb righit now, with a max5 and hs 840kv. What m2c upgrades (or any other) would you prioritize first?
Hey Brent 🤗. The biggest thing would be the chassis. Especially if you like jumping and higher speed bashing. 🍻
Rich your an awesome basher dude. I need your help? Or someone's help. Lol. I have a new imars dual charger and wondering how I charge my Gens ace battery that has EC5 the adapters they come with seem tight or don't work for EC5 what do you suggest? Thanks.
Thanks Shawn 🤗. If the adapters don't fit, I'd order some EC5 ones or grab some at your LHS. They sell direct fit cable lead options for most all chargers. www.amainhobbies.com/protek-rc-heavy-duty-ec5-charge-lead-male-ec5-to-4mm-banana-plugs-ptk-5626/p704724?gclid=Cj0KCQjwlumhBhClARIsABO6p-yWwinD-ViGHSHw0KQDqAibv-6jZb7yCQBmHYvZ5A0Q4DkNYb7xUWQaAo7jEALw_wcB
What do you suggest for motor and esc to upgrade my big rock to 4s?
I'm running a Hobbystar 3670 3050kv with a BLX120A in my Big Rock. She's a screamer on 4s. 🍻
Thanks man. 😊 I got all of the above. Working on my big rock today. And my adapter worked on my battery. I love my new Arrma Mojave. It rips.
Hey. What's the tyre's on the Typhon? Greetings from Germany
Those are Proline 2.8 Badlands mounted on their older F11 2.8 rims with 17mm hexes. These are the same tires premounted on Raid wheels. Just need to order their optional 17mm hexes.🍻 www.amazon.com/Pro-line-Racing-Badlands-Black-PRO117310/dp/B07T15MHJD/ref=asc_df_B07T15MHJD/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=416750690396&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2728996254605598641&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9032516&hvtargid=pla-896731535882&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=92049667097&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=416750690396&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2728996254605598641&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9032516&hvtargid=pla-896731535882
@@richduperbash2966 thanks
Is the typhon also got more wide? or it's stock?
The Typhon sits about an inch wider with the Proline 2.8 rims due to their 1/2" offset. Really makes a perfect stance for overall stability 🤗
I live my granite
First.😆
His 1st trip to the park and already showing up his old man 😜 when is he going to give you your next lesson? 🫢 glad to see you put the trashas rigs away…
So stoked Andrew is digging the skatepark 😍. He's definitely getting some lines down quick and already wants to go back 😱
