Like redboy said, keep the mods coming, no matter how small! I’m curious how the factory and new thermostats compare in opening temps. Let us know if you find out.
Thanks Justin Any idea where people outside of Australia can order this from. All the places I tried don’t ship internationally, and the local Mazda dealership doesn’t even have the code in their computer. It would be a good mod in hot Australia 👍
@@supermazda3 very true- I’d imagine the valve control wires could be short circuited, but there’s likely a temp sensor built in that would throw error codes unless it’s reinstalled differently. I’ll look into it and message you if I think it’s possible and want to try and do it
So I found out that DISITune from Poland apparantly has camshafts and a 4 in 1 exhaust manifold thst get the 2.0 165 HP to 204 HP. Have you heard of anyone else offer ing a camshaft and a 4 in 1 manifold?
Currently running 60/40 with water wetter, no issues to be found after 2 months so far, doesn’t seem to do a giant amount but I did see maybe a 3-5 degree difference in a 110f plus climate
Before quitting a certain parts store a few months ago I looked at the various thermostats available. If I'm remembering correctly there was 3 different ones all at different temperatures (F°, 160, 170, 180). Murray 3386, 3387, 3388
We really appreciate you, Justin! Thank you for everything! You've absolutely transformed my car!

I wonder if it’s possible to replace the whole thermostat housing on the control valve model to the mechanical version
You can, but it won't be cheap, and you'll definitely need to tune out the codes

I don't believe it's the camshafts that are the magic, it's his tuning
How much does this thermostat opens compared to mazda 6 2.5t ?
@@ماجدالقرني-ف7ب same amount. 0.33"
Would it be worth it to get a water wetter or run 80/20 or 90/10?
@@muhammadamohsin I personally wouldn't
