Jesus I was all set to get a Monaro like this full headers de cats or sport cats full suspension set up quick shifter £7750 86000 miles , I shit out and got another 350Z for £3100 to save some cash, regretted it every day since ☹️, great vid beautiful sound can’t beat a V8 I’ve had three V8s so can’t really complain I guess 😎

Dammit. I had owned a couple of ss's before and This video alone helped reignite my burning desire to own one of these cars once again. And then so I did. Had a clean red vy ss for a while. Cammed 300rwkw. And then I got another car and it felt like I couldn't justify having two cars to which I would barley get out to drive even one of them. So I sold the ss. And now 6 months later all of a sudden out of now where I started missing it and now here I am again watching this video. I promised myself I wouldn't. Clearly I got issues lol. Should I buy a 4th vz/vy ss?

@@marioazzopardi1588 What area are you from mate? if your on the west side of Melb there are a few shops id recommend which are Garage Worx In Hoppers Crossing, SASS Automotive in Hoppers also, GM Motorsport in Melton (I think they are) and there is Allsparks Automotive in East Keilor

Hey mate, lovely video. Am thinking of going vcm 11 for my 5.7L. Have you got a list of what supporting mods you got done?
Yeah 2 5/8" extractors into a 3" collector 100cell 3" cats into a twin 3" system OTR, Valves and double row spring and then the Tune.
But im currently in the process of removing the engine for a freshen up and possibly change of cam to a turbo killer cam

Make me wanna convert my vz berlina factory ls1 to manual that crackle n pop amd the cam mint as man I've got one mine is pacemakers 100cell high-flow cats 2.5 cat back with hotdogs centre and hotdogs rear the crackle on mine with the auto but I want manual now haha and cam and head work next year with be a good combo
Michael just run vcm 13 cam n 4 K stally with 3,9 diff gears be faster than this car,I've got twin 2.5 rear muffler delete and it's loud enough,was thinking going twin 3s but I decided to run cutouts ,just got get them installed with my 410s with under drive pulley kit and I will upload vids👌

It's weird my vz sv6 feels more premium than this ss it has sunroof sun glass holder and maybe other things but i guess yours has the power...
Mine is a series 1, series 2 had the black roof lining, sunglasses holder, cup holders in the centre dash on either side of the head unit, and had climate control and chrome badging where as the s1 had brushed silver coloured badges
Lol there's nothing "premium" about a VZ SV6. I just got rid of one earlier this year and went back to The Calais.

Are you running 2 front mufflers and one at the rear? Or straight pipe at the rear? Or something else?
I'm running both middle mufflers and the back one but im thinking of going straight pipes at the back or hotdogs just to have it a bit louder 😁

made 260rwkws with just the cam, OTR and Exhaust system
How the driveability with this cam? Any issues at lower speeds and have you considered going ported heads?
Down low under 20kms it would jump and buck that's the only issue and I'm taking the car off the road for a big clean up and engine freshen up so maybe ill get the heads done but unsure yet.

Its the Billet Products Short Shifter, worth every cent, i will be making a video of all the mods and engine work done to the car coz i do get asked a lot about the shifter.

I tried buying one about a year or so ago & were told by jhp that they dont make them anymore so I purchased the gm ripshift with the hurst short stick but still nowhere near as short a throw or stick as yours.

What exhaust U running ,I'm about to upgrade from twin 2,5s only middle mufflers nothing else so loud with vcm13,but thinking going twin 3 xforce with hot dog on rear instead of rear mufflers ,just want it sound tuffer n throw more HP at her when I do heads n super 6 injectors
Ive got a Twin 3" DEA Performance system with both middle mufflers and the back ressie, the cats are 100cell Hi flow ones and the extractors are the no name stainless steal ones from off ebay.
I have the exact same exhaust as you have and it too was way too loud and sounded shit on decel, with the twin 3" I found that it still is loud but its a deeper tougher sounding note 👌

Yeah was great weather so took the wifey and little boy out for a quick cruise to enjoy the sunshine, but nar not at all mate, they have never questioned them once even going through RBT's haha

What is ur exhaust set up headers to tips and what can ?
It had 1 3/4 ebay special extractors, punched out cats with a twin DEA 3" system with both the front 2 mufflers and the rear one which also was from E-Bay.
What do u mean by punched out cats ? Is there a link u can link me to ur heads and whole system please
@@DirtBikeBob what i mean by punched out cats is the honeycomb inside them have all been punched out so its completly hollow inside them

Does the cam still have power down low?
Kicks in around 2500-3000rpms before that comes down to the diff ratio doing its job with 4.11's making it feel like its got power down real low
What are the wheels in the thumbnail?
They were like a aftermarket 20" wheels that were like the VE GTS Wheels
