It would have been better to hear both start up separately versus one starting up after the other. But still a great comparo video that gives a great indication of the differences.
I would really like to see a 'living with' kinda video regarding the different cams and maybe what suits a manual vs an auto. Keep up the great work, always enjoy the videos!
I've lived with ny turbo killer cam for 4 months now behind a t56 ls1. Easy to drive, bit annoying in traffic but great to drive otherwise

@@GMMotorsport well my cam is very similar vcm 13 238 242@112 but I run 3 cat deletes 3 cat back rear hot dogs instead rear mufflers

Both cars have a awesome set-up but that SS is music to my ears👍
Maybe cause it has no rear muffler ,take rear muffler out other car replaced with hotdogs a world of difference

On the Red SS, what is the location of the hotdog mufflers? Are they front or rear? Old mate says the system is 2&a 1/2 with the hotdog mufflers option from XForce.
Would both having different cams and cat backs mor for alot of difference in power output.
Can you guys do the different between tunes next on them

Tuff idle means very little. It’s no gauge of power. As has a nice fast idle. Both sound good.

Like the sound of the TK but realistically the SR is going to be better for a daily.
Depends set up tune etc .mines vcm13 fine for daily 4 K stally 411s can hardly tell it's stalled loads torque

wow high lift on both so skimming the head and or decking the block could be an issue with out flycut pistons ?

how do i bump up idle ,since mechanic fitted cam its so damm lumpy at lights it surges real bad ,3500 stall and mystery cam,i took it back a few times and in the end he said I need to drill a 8mm hole in the throttle blade and stop complaining to him ,originally went in for worn lifters and it escalated from there ,camshaft ,hi stall ,timing chain oil pump etc etc about 9500 dollars ,i just want the idle up a bit so i dont have to put it in neutral at lights ,any advice appreciated
You need a new tuner. Drilling a throttle body to rectify idle means they have not done the job correctly. That may be intentional or that may be from insufficient knowledge. Either way id be going elsewhere for a retune. Other tables may be wrong too
Try new IAC 1st
I always hear it's not reccomended to drill the throttle body but I took my car to one of the top LS workshops in the country for a cam and some work and it came back with a hole drilled. Cars driven brilliantly for 7-8 years since until I spun a lifter. Considering the fairly wild cam specs the drivability is a lot better than expected so from my personal experience a drilled TB may not be the worst thing in the world. Just my opinion.
Get it tuned elsewhere my dude.

If fuel consumption is of any concern you would not buy a heavy car running a crammed v8.. it takes fuel to make power

They sound pretty good but i call bullshit on the power level they reckon they are putting out
Doesn't clear it up at all post some dyno plots back to back of each car or some footage driving each car and commentary as you drive , how it behaves on a auto and manual car hopefully you can educate your customers best as you can as this stuff people only find out once they've had the time and money and owned numerous cars + money spent which I personally think is unfair.
