Gotta admit, I started vibing a bit more to the magical spear-throwing concept this weapons brings to Elementalist! Very good fun. Got one more coming - the Engineer! Didn't really enjoy the Warrior and I don't really play the other classes well enough to build properly, so stay tuned! Some of the animations are very pretty, I am actually impressed. It looks faster paced than staff but I was hoping for a more hand to hand combat with spear. Still I look forward to trying it out. Thanks for showcasing!
Ah, that's a fair assessment. It is a nice combat alternative to staff but after the Hammer release, which plays at 600 range if I remember correctly, I guess it was time for another ranged option as Staff is the only 1200 range weapon for Elementalist. The well/glyph effects on the ground look very cool! Looks cool, hope all other classes have their own unique feel and look. Might be hard to make each class feel special if all are using the same weapon. Only thing that looks off are skill 1 to 5 icons. A bit too bold and.... plain? Doesnt really fit in compaired to other skill icons. Looking forward to Engi, my first and favourite class!
Agreed! The Elementalist looks very classy and the transform effect on skill 5 for each attunement is fairly unique. Think only Vindicator on Revenant has something similar. Don't worry re. the icons. They're only placeholder as the art hasn't been finished :) Ye ye keep an eye out Thurs!
