- This time, we're swapping magic for mechanics as we wield the mighty Land Spear as an Engineer this time! Great visuals and surprisingly decent AoE dmg offers a nice alternative to Hammer or the Holosmith's forge mode. I chose Scrapper to compliment the condition-heavy Land Spear with a bit of power damage output from the gyros.
Don't forget to like, sub, comment etc (all the usual stuff y'know? Help ya boi out!)
You can find me over on Twitter ( / adonutplays ) and I occasionally stream on Twitch! Watch live at / adonutplaysgames
This time, we're a Spear-wieldin', slashin' Engineer! Quite enjoyed this one, with very comfy AoE rotations when combo'd with Scrapper's Gyros!
This will be the last one of the Land Spears as I don't really play a lot of the other classes. Hoping to get some more Ambience videos and maybe a Janthir Wilds-related lore up soonTM! Do let me know if you have anything you wanna see!
That skill 3 spear throw is cool! Love the more mechanical look for engi, fits nicely. Hopefully this will be the case for all other classes, their own unique look. Do you know if there is going to be masteries relating to spear combat? lookin forward to your next vid 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! I did love the mechanical feel and look of it. They did a good job tying it into Engineer.
They'll likely rework some existing specialisation traits to include Land Spears but that'll be about it. I am not expecting masteries as we didn't get anything like that with the weapon expansion in SotO. Sorry!
Stay tuned! More GW2 content to come!
Hmmmm... I don't know about this one. Not my cup of tea!
That's alright! There'll be plenty to try out when it drops in August! Exciting times to come!
Nice SFX but feels to stiff, pretty weak also.
Compared to other weapons available to the Engineer or Holosmith's Holo Forge, I agree re. the dmg, though bear in mind I was not running Vipers here, so the dmg was not min/maxed. However, I love how it feels and how flashy it looks. I'm a bit of a sap for cool flashy things!
Hope you enjoyed, thanks for watching!
