I’ve had 5 elite 2 controllers. All got stick drift after only about 2-3 months. I’ve had my BB for 3 years now and the company still hits me up to see if it’s good. Think you just bought during a bad time brother
I’ve used the BB controller a bunch. The drift has increased a little and I’m still not happy with the button placements on the back. I switched back to the Elite series Xbox controller. Could just be my preference but I’m not happy with this controller.
The overlap is because of the beaver tail buttons are at least 2mm wider but the standard buttons would work fine I'm sure in that layout. They should have spaced the buttons out a little higher to make room for the wider style buttons since going lower the mid frame could get in the way by the rumble motors unless it's cut away. If I were you I'd just get the smaller button caps and then that setup should have enough clearance I think they're 8mm wide so you could check.
Yeah I just buy all the parts and soldering equipment to build my own. The buttons are easy to do it's removing analog modules to change tension that takes more equipment and skill to do successfully.
I appreciate your insight. I wanted to make the review to share that imo they should give a better representation of the button placement or offer to sell a blank with holes to see where they are. Aside from that, I felt it important to share the price, customer service, and length of time to receive the controller to intended buyers. It’s just not for everyone but what is? However, In terms of customization, battle beaver is phenomenal.

The problem with battle beaver, is that it’s so expensive. It cost more than Scuf.
