Trying to search Reddit between: Cinch, Battle Beaver, Evil, and Hypr. I am looking for a lot: Hall Effect Sticks, Mechanical Face Buttons, Mouse Triggers with or without trigger stops, Mechanical rear buttons 4 minimum will consider 6 only if the coverage is feasible and comfortable using the pinky, ring and middle finger. I just don’t know if the BB 6 button layout would be comfortable for my needs 😂
I actually really like the haptic feedback. I used to hate controller vibrations but with the ps5 controller it’s that almost unnoticeable good feeling when I play a game like demons souls and I feel my footsteps and rolls it’s really cool and feels very natural. As for the triggers they are cool just depends on the game.
Even if my left side paddles don't work now on my evil controller due to me being abusive to it like it was a red headed step child lol....I absolutely love my evil controller for Halo infinite. but all seriousness I hear alot of horror stories about the elite2 so I went with evil and absolutely love the tension and the actual paddles...esp the tactical buttons and hairpin triggers to save a little dough and I designed the controller myself...but I'm also a tattoo artist lol....thought about sending the controller back to have the paddles fixed but evil has been a awesome company so far
I just built myself a battle beaver controller, currently having buyers remorse every now and then because I know no matter how expensive the controller is. Stick drift will always catch up and ruin everything that was great about the controller I've ordered. Then again mapping the back buttons to a L3 and R3 button is a way to increase the lifespan of the sticks... Kinda just wish some new technology would come out and replace the current potentiometers in the controller
Have you gotten a ps5 controller yet? I'm on series 2 aswell but going back to ps5. Stuck on what one to get. Fair amount of options but just trying to get best for the rear paddles. Series 2 top paddles which I use middle finger are perfect for me, lower ones could be lower so could use tip of ring finger as opposed too the middle of the finger 🤔
Hey man, love your videos, especially on controllers. If you you're able to, can you do a review on Flydigi Apex 2 controller? I've had my eye on it for awhile now since it has a lot of customizable buttons, but it only works on PC or Smartphones. I've been looking it up online and most of the reviews are for emulations on smartphones, not really on PC while playing FPS games. Again, love your videos. Keep making 'em!

Go spend the $100 on a cronus zen amd get the year warranty for the controller pass through technology, then you can use a PS4 controller with back paddles or and xbox controller with back paddles and the cronus zen will never get stick drift. Get the cheap one year warranty on the stock ps4 controller or Xbox and boom. Not a fan of Battle Beaver after what appears to be a standard experience. Order a PS4 basic with no rumblers and two back buttons. Back button placement is terrible, would require you to use your ring finger to operate them...gheez, bad ergonomics. And the overall feel of this controller is complete plastic and garbage. I couldn't stand using it for 5min before I grabbed my Xbox Pro controller and went back to using that and also my Scuf PS5 PRo. Night/day. I know, I'm comparing apples/oranges...but the obvious is the complete terrible build/plastic feel and cheap controller they sold me. I know, it is a PS4 controller, but hey...customization is an overstatement then. Then the bad part, have to send it back for a refund, no way I'm keeping it, and they hit me with the original shipping charges and restock fee...nearly $40 to "try" this absolutely garbage controller from a company that apparently doesn't care if I'm going to think of purchasing a controller from them ever again. Move on people, better companies and controllers than Beaver. Overrated by 10x.
As a mnk player looking to go controller, what Ps5 controller would you recommend? Looked up BattleBeaver and i'm just confused by all the customizations.
If Battle Beaver had less options, it would definitely increase the time it takes too build. Having the ability to have instant triggers on one side rather than the other is pointless.
I don't think it's pointless at all, if you want instant click on right trigger for instant shooting, but to aim in you would like to have more pressing room then I think it's dope
Nagashock controllers needs more attention they've gotta be the best customer service and controller builds on the market with a great free warranty and a 20$ bonus warranty plus a free controller return to change something about the controller you don't like, for free. such as placement of rear buttons, and stick tension. I was able to actually talk to a person about my order with good quick replies that were very helpful while deciding what to do with my controller. including changing part of my order after making the initial payment.
You can build a PS5 battle beaver custom controller with 2 back buttons for $120 or $150 for 2 back buttons with a remap chip. You don't need all the extras especially if you aim and shoot with L1 and R1. PS5 controller is so smooth and minimal input lag. I play PS5 controller with kontorl freek on xbox because PSN is not as good and has the bandwidth cap for all consoles. I had the astro C40 and pro controllers with major flaws. Best thing to do is get a PS5 controller with the one year $15 gamestop warranty and wait for the $20/$30 back paddle attachment to come, unless you want to spend the extra on a battle beaver and be out a $120+ controller when it gets stick drift. Only bad part about battlebeaver, they are not set up with good warranties and store fronts like gamestop or bestbuy. It's just not worth it to spend the extra $ on tighter tension because of stick drift eventually happening. All them high dollar (3rd party controller all suck and are not as responsive as PS5 controller). The reality endorsed streamers don't tell people. Sure scuf is great if you get $300+ controller placed anytime you need it for free 😂
Does anyone know how the stick tension from evil compares to the one from battle beaver? Specifically the increased one from battle beaver, not the max one as that one feels way too strong.
For PC you should definitely try out a steam controller. The aiming and precision feels like a mouse but it’s a controller. Also, no drift on that controller, touchpads can’t drift and are better than sticks anyways.
